Meeks Bay vacation rentals

We had a wonderful stay at this home. The views are breathtaking and the proximity to Meeks Bay provided exactly what we needed for a few days of relaxation. The hosts were very communicative, kind and informative. The teens loved the downstairs bedroom with so much space. Hands down, the best home we have rented in Tahoe.

Our family ski trip to Lake Tahoe was nothing short of magical! We stayed at the stunning Heller Haus and were joined by our entire family: my wife, daughter, son-in-law, son and his girlfriend, and our two grandchildren (ages 5 and 7).From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The house was beautifully prepared for the holidays, complete with a festive Christmas tree and a perfectly set dining table. It truly felt like a home away from home.The views from Heller Houss were absolutely breathtaking—some of the best Lake Tahoe has to offer. Tracy and Gene were incredible hosts, always available and attentive to our needs, ensuring our stay was seamless and stress-free.One of the highlights of the trip was watching our grandchildren learn to ski. Mariah, their ski instructor, was phenomenal! After just two lessons, our little ones were confidently skiing, and their excitement was contagious.We booked through StayLux, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. Their attention to detail and impeccable service made this trip truly unforgettable.We highly recommend Heller Houss to anyone looking for a luxurious and family-friendly getaway. We had an excellent time at the cabin. We had 15 guests to celebrate our moms 70th birthday. The sunrises were incredible. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook and for many members of the family the fancy kitchen they had cooked in. The bear mats made some uncomfortable but we understood the safety. The lower level rooms did get warm especially where the bunk beds are so a fan would have been nice if the windows couldn’t be open. There is plenty to do around the area and our hosts were helpful in pointing out great spots to go to that were not as crowded with tourists-Like hike the falls. Thank you for opening your home to us! A perfect birthday for our mom!

It is the most amazing Vrbo property we’ve ever seen, breath taking views of the lake, super spacious and well decorated & well equipped home with everything you need!! Very clean and great location/ quick drive to Palisades Tahoe mountain and tons of food / bars nearby in town. Most importantly, the host has been so wonderful, helpful and patient before and throughout our stay. 100% recommend you book this ASAP.

The house was perfect. There was a lot of consideration put in to all the details. The whole family loved it. The jaw dropping views from every room were the biggest hit.

What a great large home with spacious bedrooms and multi-level areas great for families with kids. The view of Lake Tahoe is incredible! Would definitely recommend.

Communication: immediate, helpful responses from Bill and Cindy before, during and after the stay! Property: just as advertised. Lots of space for our group. Great outdoor deck with comfortable furniture for eating and lounging with spectacular views of the lake from sunrise to sundown. Detached garage with space for your cars. Amenities: this is where the house really distinguished itself versus other properties we have visited. the owners thought of everything no matter how minor: shampoo, soap, trash bags, laundry detergent, bikes, Netflix, spa with chemicals, BBQ with propane, steak knives, multiple coffee brewing systems, fans, bikes, beach chairs, etc. Extras: having access to the private beach club (about 1 mile away by car) was terrific as the public beaches are quite crowded during the summer. Neighborhood: residential neighborhood up a hill from the lake, nice to walk around, a bit of traffic noise from the road just in front of the house but died down after dinner, lots of hiking trails accessible within a 1/4 mile of the house. Overall: fantastic stay which exceeded our expectations.
