The hip secular city is at the centre of Israeli art and culture, making it the perfect place for Urbanites to cultivate their creativity. Whether in the form of street art, vegan eating, or booming underground nightlife, Tel Aviv is rife with young hipsters looking to chill outside the mainstream. While Neve Tzedek has the vintage clothing and boutique storespart down, if you want in on the true “too-cool-for-school” experience, head to Florentin in south Tel Aviv.

Locals lounging at hip cafes occasionally set down their craft coffee to browse designer shops in Florentin. As the sun sets, live music echoes down mural emblazoned streets, signalling friends to meet and drink in buzzing bars and markets. The area has a ton of character and is often associated with a bohemian lifestyle since many of its residents are unconventional artists, wanderers, and adventurers. Coffee shops, art studios, bars, and graffiti line the streets. It is also very close to Levinsky Market, a small outdoor grocery market that has the best spices, nuts, and coffee in town!

Highlights include:
–Mezcal– Best Mexican food in Tel Aviv and a fantastic happy hour!
-Salame Street: An artist street at the end of Florentine with tons of photographers’ and painters’ studios.
–24 Rupee: Great Indian restaurant, run by Israelis who traveled in India after their army service.

Easiest way to get around the city is by renting an e-scooter.
There are a couple of companies that offer a direct rent, and you can find multiple stations in the main streets- Bird, Wind and Lime- we suggest downloading their apps!
They are charging NIS 5 per journey, plus NIS 0.50 per minute.
