One of two semi-detached units with complete privacy and a dedicated backyard. Guests enjoy exclusive use without shared amenities.

Fully equipped 2-bedroom unit with a kitchen, BBQ patio, and outdoor firepit.


House Rules:

Primary renter must be 25+ years old.

No smoking or parties.

Check-out is at 11 AM. Guests are requested to leave the kitchen clean, with dishes washed and returned to their original place. Towels and linens can be placed in the shower or laundry area.

Outdoor shoes are not recommended inside. Guests are welcome to wear clean indoor shoes.

Children should avoid drawing or writing on walls, mirrors, or other surfaces. Damages will be charged.

If using the fire pit, please fully extinguish the fire with water for safety.

The property uses a septic tank system. Do not flush baby wipes, face wipes, or feminine hygiene products.


Pet Policy:

Guests with pets must clean up after them and keep the yard tidy.


If excessive fur cleaning or damage occurs, repair and cleaning costs will be deducted from the damage deposit.


Important Notes:

The property sits directly on the water but is not a sandy beach. A stone sea wall prevents soil erosion, and there are stairs leading down to the water.

Additional mattress, baby crib, baby bath, and high chair available upon request.

The house is located in a quiet spot not far from Shediac. The view of the water is amazing and the sun room is the perfect spot any time of day.

We absolutely loved our stay! The property was beautiful, extremely clean and our host was very helpful and quick to respond. We had everything we needed. Check in was easy and I appreciated the nice touches like snacks, coffee and even pet dishes for our dog. The sunrise was stunning. We will be back!

Location, location!

If you are looking for a unique stay with beautiful water views, this is the place for you. We enjoyed the fun little nautical touches throughout the property, right down to the quirky kitchen that made us feel like we were on a boat. What truly makes this place, is the view over Cocgane Bay. We spent many happy hours lounging on the ample deck and enjoying the beautiful sun room. Note: Dryer isn't working, although that is noted in the listing of amenities. It would be a nice feature to fix and offer in future. Also, the bed in the main bedroom is very firm. Not necessarily a bad thing, just hard on some backs if you are not used to it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the hosts were very responsive.

Cocagne review

The pics of the location are spot on. However inside while some of the finishes where nice, flip the pillow over and there are holes. Cigarette burns when you open up the throw blanket. The bed I slept in was a box spring with a thin mattress topper. The bathroom was the worst, dust dirt, urine on the heater. Giant spider in the corner with tons of cobwebs everywhere. The light in the shower did not work, you shower in the dark. The ceiling fan was so dirty we were afraid to turn it on. I paid a large sum of money to have this placed cleaned after I left, but it was filthy from the start. We had to sweep up as soon as we arrived as leftover food on the floor was bringing in the ants. Both screen doors were full of holes, could not leave them open. I do not say these things without proof, I took pics.

Hello Martha, We are very sorry for what you experienced. But the way you have mentioned the things are not right. It is definitely a firm mattress with nice mattress topper. It not a spring box at all. Who keeps a spring box only ? The cigarette burns you are talking about are from the fire pit people use. Some guests are just not responsible and respectful towards things. The screen has few very little holes from our furry guests. There are multiple lights in the washroom, not just one. I asked you multiple times that let me know if you need anything. You never mentioned me about the bulb. It may have gone bad. The way you have described ants and spider and dust, sounds like the cottage was full of those. Which is not true at all. You are the first person in last four years to say that. We try our best to make the place neat and tidy for our guests. But we cannot make everyone happy ... I have learnt from my experiences. I have nothing to justify or say other than sorry!

Malgré quelques incidents ce fut dans l’ensemble un beau séjour. Vrbo fut d’une grande aide a l’arrivée. Appartement confortable malgré quelques lacunes. Comme marche pour entrer dans la cuisine. Une chute désastreuse pour mon conjoint. Pas de casse mais beaucoup d’hémoglobine! Par contre la vue magnifique occultait quelques désagrément mineurs. En somme un agréable séjour.

Great ocean view

We found this an attractive, clean, and well-equipped cottage. Spectacular view both from the cottage and the deck(s). Everything you need is there. Heat pump worked great. A small suggestion is that the dish soap dispenser could have been more generous, and real TV channels would have been a nice addition to Netflix. Highly recommended.

Site extraordinaire, directement sur l'eau. Très propre. Tout était parfait dans le gîte. Sauf, le grand matelas très dur. Les 2 petits, étaient tellement confortables. Et le divan devrait être remplacé. Vraiment trop mou. Dur pour le dos. Suggestion: mettre l'adresse suivi d'un A , à côté de la porte du balcon. Car on cherche par ou entrer. Pas évident juste l'adresse dans les informations transmises. Merci
