We would love to speak with you some more on this, especially your comments on the house needing Maintenace and cleaning. You have not mentioned any issues to us during your stay nor when the keys were returned. The review has been left three weeks after you vacated, and we have had multiple others stay in the property without complaint so would appreciate your feedback tremendously. Especially more details on exactly what you feel the house needed so we can look into your concerns and improve them for future stays. Thanking you.
Overall experience very pleasing. Nice kitchen, bathrooms and appliances. Beds were comfortable. WIFI worked very well. View was amazing!
Would recommend taking a few electrical extension cables to use a couple of items such as bedside lamp and drier. Other than that, everything else was supplied.
We enjoyed ourselves immensely.

The inside of the house was clean. Outside untidy and unsafe. Had to wash all plates, cutlery everything before use. Nothing to clean BBQ with. Uncomfortable beds. 1 room way too hot to go in. Mildew/ mould all over cement. Trip and slip hazards in yard. Unsafe ramp to pontoon. Not signed 30 in the front of house. Would never stay there again.

We’re glad you found the inside of the house clean, but we apologize for the concerns you raised regarding the exterior and other aspects of your experience. Your comments about the outdoor cleanliness, the BBQ, and the condition of the yard and ramp are taken very seriously, and we are already addressing these issues to ensure the property is safe and comfortable for future guests.
Regarding the plates and cutlery, I apologize that this caused inconvenience. We will review our cleaning processes with the housekeeping team to ensure everything is thoroughly checked. Your feedback about the beds and the temperature in one of the rooms has also been noted, and we’ll investigate potential improvements.
We deeply regret that your stay didn’t live up to your expectations, and we will use your feedback to make necessary adjustments moving forward. Thank you again for bringing these matters to our attention.
Before I write this review I did not contact a host or agent as it stated on the sheet only in emergencies. I'm sorry but I can't believe this property had been cleaned as there were still marks in one of the toilets. We were met with 2 deceased cockroaches and 3 live and running. There is a strange smell throughout and several pillows were stained. I shall stop there. The upstairs bedroom was great and comfortable and the neighbourhood quite and friendly. The house has great potential but cleanliness no.

Hi Michael, thank you for your review however it was very concerning to us. We are not sure why you were not able to contact our agency. You are provided with a 24/7 contact number multiple times prior to arrival in the information sent to you as well as it being displayed in multiple place around the property. We also have someone in the office seven days a week (where you collect and return the keys) and the office phones active six days a week. We would really like to discuss your comments on the cleanliness as the property has been professionally pest treated only ten days before you arrived. We also pay for professional cleans at the end of every guest and have staff check each property prior to a new guests arrival. We also have hygienic procedures in place like six monthly linen replacements and all mattresses and pillows are always covered with waterproof protectors.

Canal Stay
We didn't find the house in a very suitable condition but Property Manager was happy to have things amended!!
The property was dirty. We paid a cleaning fee and it was not clean at all. The windows and tracks, floors, cupboards, cabinetry, tiles, furniture, bedspreads and pillows were all disgusting. We had blood and dead skin strains on our pillows. Anti depressant medication on our child’s bedspread. Food and dirt in drawers, floors etc. The downstairs shower screen was difficult to open due to handle issues. Damaged/unsafe pontoon which we were advised of three days before check in. The damage looked quite old and not recent. The ripped carpet off the pontoon was just thrown on the fence line and not even in the bin. It was too late for us to find another property with a pontoon available for that weekend.

Hi Julene, we feel this review is very unfair. Especially as you extended your stay for an additional three days after arrival. You did not advise the business of any issues during your stay and we can not understand why you would ask to stay longer and then say the property was horrible. The property has just had a bond clean two weeks before your arrival so do not feel the comments you have made are correct however if we were made aware earlier we could have visited the property and provided a solution however advising only after you vacate does not give us a chance to even discuss or repair your concerns. We advised you of the issue with the pontoon which was only just discovered and is under repair. We also compensated you extremely well for this and offered you the option to cancel and be refunded in full if you wish. Instead you took the very good refund amount and stayed longer than originally booked. Sadly we feel your actions do you represent your poor experience.
Lovely family sized home with beautiful water front views. Access to the water is secured by pool fencing and outdoor patio is very spacious making it a great place for kids to play.

I don't think the BBQ has been cleaned in awhile. There wasn't enough cutlery for everyone, there where cockroaches all in the cupboards, and the floors were dirty when we arrived.

Please understand the property was only pest sprayed internally and externally a month before you arrived so am not sure what caused this to be a issue. We will organise for the service to be done again and the house is also having its annual bond clean in the coming weeks. Thank you for your feedback, we will do better.
The place was full of dust, kitchen sink smelled rotten and had mould everywhere, the toilets smelled of urine we used toilet duck on them and still smelled badly. The carpets smelled horrible of urine like as if there were pets in there prior and had urinated and no professional carpet cleaning was done, the showers had not been cleaned for years by the amount of mould there was and the drains were clogged in the showers.The air conditioner filters were not cleaned for years. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY! My daughter dry reached by how bad the house was a few times. We have pictures to prove this.

We are so sadden to see this review and false claims. The property is professionally cleaned after every guest and checked again before another guests arrival. The carpets are professionally cleaned more than once a year and were actually done less than a month before you arrived. The business itself pays for this as well as a pest treatment to ensure we know they are done regularly using the highest standard of products and serviceman. I believe that this review is based on the fact you wanted to leave because we had new covid restricts put in place for two days of your stay which prevented you from 4WD as planned and after attacking the staff for refusing a refund you have decided to use a bad review.

Remotes with dead batteries, fans not working, only 2 bedrooms have airconditioning, the back one is very hot has no airconditioning and a pedestal fan did not work. Only enough cutlery for 6, when it can sleep 8 or 9? This booking ends up at Bribie Island Real Estate - and they were very hard to deal with. Only provided 1 key for 6 adults - what a joke. We managed to get a second one provided grudgingly. About 3 months before the stay we had thought we may need to cancel and were told that even if they get another booking we would still be liable for 50% of the total cost - unbelievable. I asked who gets the money and didn't get a reply. On Bribie over Christmas everything books out. Luckily we didn't need to cancel. But please read the small print. I would never book anything linked to this Real Estate Agency again.

Thank you for your review sadly it is not a true representation for the property. Firstly a call to the office advising of your issues would have been the best option as we could have had these all fixed for you within the hour. Yet you did not report any issues to the business until you posted the online review which is very unfair.
Additional batteries and light bulbs are always available to guests at every property. If for some reason the extra supply has run out we would have delivered you whatever you needed immediately. All fans work correctly I personally went their to test them so I presume it must have been user error however again if you had called to advise we would have turned up with batteries in hand an extra pedestal fan and also got the ones you claimed not working to work. We also clearly advertised which rooms are air conditioned and which are not before booking. I checked on the kitchenware and there are two full eight piece dinner sets one in the cupboard and one in the pantry which I presume you must have missed, as there is plenty of kitchenware at the property.
Regarding the cancellation policy again this is untrue. Yes, we have a non-refundable deposit paid upon booking. We clearly advertised this, it is not in the "fine print" as you claim. However most owners are extremely flexible if enough notice is provided. If you actually wanted to cancel and provided enough notice you would have at a minimum been given the option to move to another date. However as you said you didn't need to cancel so we are unsure why you are mentioning a cancellation policy as you never experienced the cancellation process, we feel this is very unfair.
We are sadden you feel this way however believe a lot of your issues could have been avoided if you had better communication and actually spoke to us as most of your reports are untrue or easily fixed.
Lovely break away in this canal home. Beautiful views of the water and cool breezes. Very comfortable beds and lounge and lovely alfresco area. A huge bonus is that your family dog is welcome too.
