This 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom home is thoughtfully designed with your beach vacation in mind. Inside, you ll find a fresh coastal style, with updated bathrooms, soft accent walls in the bedrooms, shiplap details in the loft, luxury vinyl plank flooring, and updated light fixtures, fans and hardware. High-speed internet and wall-mounted smart TVs are also available for your convenience.

Step outside to your own private outdoor space, perfect for unwinding or spending time with family. The expanded deck features cobblestone and plenty of patio area around the pool, with ample seating and a grill for easy outdoor dining. The fenced backyard offers added privacy, along with a handy outdoor changing room for quick pool access. The pool measures 25 feet long and approximately 13 feet at its widest point, with a depth ranging from 3 feet to 4 feet 10 inches. Its irregular rectangular shape adds charm. It can be heated for an additional $275 per week, from 3/1-5/30 and 9/1-11/1 if air temp in not below 55F.

Take in breathtaking ocean views from the covered porch, or follow your private walkway to the beach, complete with a small seating area to enjoy the scenery. With a private pool, spacious living areas, smart TVs, fast Wi-Fi, and a layout that s great for families, Social Distance is a place you ll want to come back to year after year. Amazing family beach time!

We had an amazing week at Surfside staying at Social Distance. The house was exactly as it was listed and exceeded our expectations. Gorgeous view and close proximity to the beach and ocean. This was a family vacation with 12 of us and we got very comfortably. House was very well stocked in the kitchen which was helpful. We would 100% consider returning to this vacation home.

Great week away

This house was perfect for our family! The location was great where it was close to the pier and restaurants. Close enough to Myrtle beach but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The pictures depicted exactly what the house looked like. The only downside was that the realty company said they were sending emails about check in/out processes but never received it. Called them while driving several times and they stated that they “resent them” but again no email. Ended up driving to the realty company for them to print everything off. A little bit of a hassle as it added time to actually get into the house, but overall we have a great week!

Beach location very good. It would have been nice for the property to have been more supplied upon arrival (trash bags, tp, household essentials). Other than that, a great stay.

Great getaway

Great location for a family of nine. Right on the beach very clean, close to restaurants. We were all surprised how much larger it wasn’t person and the pictures. Great location.

Perfect Stay

This home felt very clean and we loved the updated modern feel of the decor. I was also impressed with the attention to detail on items provided. They had everything from outlet nightlights to laundry baskets. We had a great time with our family. Would definitely stay again!

Excellent Vacation Property

We had a wonderful time. Trouble with the a/c second day was fixed the same day. We did have to fill the propane tank on grill. Couldn't turn on the pool light. Great property. Our family made great memories.

What a wonderful week! Social Distance is the perfect location for beach fun and not too far of a drive to Broadway and Barefoot. From the fantastic details of the décor to the amazing views, this property is amazing!

Gem of a place!

We were a group of three families that just stayed at Social Distance - what a fantastic place! Well equipped, clean, great beach location. The pool was a fantastic option to get out of the sun and keep kids interested. Responsive property management company and a perfect stay. The main area of Surfside is sleepy… this location is great for families who want to focus on the beach, cook meals and the rental, and enjoy a relaxing week. We all would stay at this spot again - highly recommended rental!

Family time

Perfect perfect perfect! The house, though not large, was ideal for three families. A set of grandparents, each son, his wife and two children each. We rated this our BEST house together. Clean, equipped well, small issue handled immediately. Bedroom first floor ideal for grandma and papa. Master suite with king is beautiful. Second queen is nice. Two bunk rooms with Jack and Jill bath was perfect. Pool was perfect for early morning swim or after day on the beach. Beach access was easy even for kids ages 4-9. Surfside is great location, if you want to go do all the shopping and shows it’s easy to do, want to stay at the beach, it’s maintained impeccably. Plan to return to Surfside next year hope to be lucky enough to get this home again.

Social Distance 2020

This house and the area is amazing. The bedrooms and bathroom renovations were well done. Kitchen is well stocked, beach toys and chairs available, the pool was perfect for relaxing in the afternoon/evening, (I recommend opting for the pool heater, pool is shaded most of the day and the beach breeze keeps it cool. We did and it was worth it), walking distance to restaurants and bars. The Farmer’s Market up the street, Murrell’s Inlet around the corner...we love this area. Would absolutely recommend this house, except the week we want to come back!

A beautiful location, great for families!

We had an amazing time at this Social Distance property. Check-in was virtual and we didn't even need to go to the rental offices to get a key. The late check-in was the worst part, but we were expecting it. When we arrived The kids loved exploring and picking out their bedrooms. The upstairs is set up perfectly for a family. The number of bathrooms, One attached to every room, felt like a luxury. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that we needed. We were even pleasantly surprised to find dish soap and dishwasher detergent because we thought we had to bring it. The only thing the house didn't have was garbage bags and laundry detergent. It's super close to grocery stores, restaurants, anything you could need, really. The beach was amazing. We spent time there every day walking, digging, hunting for creatures. The walkway to the beach made it easy even for our small children (3 yr old twins) to get there and back. The shower on the deck was perfect for washing off our feet after the beach, and the pool, which we had heated, was a favorite with our young boys. We ate many of our lunches down there next to the pool and it was an excellent break from the sun and sand at the beach. The sound of the surf out our window and the view made us feel spoiled. It really was an escape from our chilly New England. My only complaint would be about the grill. It was supposedly new but we were unable to keep the burners lit and it would not heat up beyond 250°. I had to finish our burgers on the stove inside. Otherwise the property was excellent. The rental company was available when I needed them for questions. And there was a mix-up with some roofers showing up while we were there and dropping some nails into the pool. When I made the rental company aware they told the owners, and the owner's kindly sent over an edible arrangement as an apology. We were very thankful. I would highly recommend this property.

Perfect place to "Social Distance"

This property was absolutely beautiful and better than what we could have expected. So many added extra bonuses included beach chairs, boogie boards, grill. The heated pool was AMAZING for cold nights. We can't wait to return.

Perfect vacation spot for a family atmosphere

The house was clean and had everything we needed. It Was mere steps to the beach which was not crowded at all. Restaurants and a small cute shop within walking distance. As a runner I appreciated the areas safe family feel when out for a run. I would recommend getting the pool heated, we miscommunicated and did not, that is my only complaint!

Great Vacation

The house was perfect for our family of seven. We have 5 kids ages 5-15 and we had a blast. Nothing beats waking up on the beach and being able to have a glass of wine on the deck while watching the kids play in the sand. The beach was awesome. Well maintained and no seaweed or rocks. We body boarded and body surfed our way through the week! Love the pool as well!

Great week

House is great and comfortable. Access to the beach was awesome and not crowded coming right off our boardwalk. Pool was great as well. We had ants in the kitchen early in the week but that was handled quickly. Bed in the master could probably use replacing...,seemed a bit old and ummm...creaked quite a bit.
