Good place for short or long vacation

House was in great condition we would definitely consider this location for future getaways everything needed for our stay was Included and LOVED how close it was to the pool and that it was heated since the first night we were there was a little chilly.

You can walk to beach

Very nice place overall with pool right outside the back door. It was peaceful but close to beach. Will be booking here every year from now on. Best part is the pet accommodation. Felt great to travel with our pet. .

Location of townhome was not the best.

Location, location- being on the back side of the complex, beach access was terrible. Our pool was closed the entire time we were there.

Keep looking

The overall area the condo is in was nice but that's about where the fun stops with this one. Let's start with we were given wrong driving instructions on how to even enter the gated condo area. We had to do several circles around then eventually slip in behind someone quickly to get in the gate we were told we were supposed to enter. Turns out that gate was for those who had an access card. Next we were given the wrong code from the previous month to pass the correct gate.

Although that was annoying and unnecessary, I didn't let that bother us too much and was happy to shake that off and start our vacation. Upon entering the condo immediately after the owner left we found the floors to be filthy and were definitely not mopped before we arrived. Then there was some sticky stuff on the counter that hadn't been wiped. These are still minor things that we took care of ourselves and tried to just over look.

Now up to the bedrooms, as you go up the thick carpet stairs to the thick carpet bedrooms you can't help but think to yourself, why do they have so much thick carpet in a pet friendly condo? And sure enough, you won't be disappointed if you like pet urine stains all over. Then there was the main bedroom bathroom door. The owner's dog had completely chewed and destroyed the bottom of the door to the point I actually had to stand back shake my head and call the property manager. I was informed about the owners dog doing this to the door and they hadn't gotten around to changing it yet. I was told the maintenance guy would the next day but he never showed our whole 5 day trip. At this point we were pretty let down to say the least. Now on to the front door lock mechanism, there are a set of buttons on the back that can either prevent the door from locking at all or completely lock you out whereas the code from the outside won't work. It took me quite some time to figure out the sequence of colors and button pushes to finally get it to work properly.

I'll add one more thing before ending my rant about this place. What the pictures don't show you is they are conveniently at an angle to hide the black molded rotting wood cabinet by the back door. In an attempt to try and hide some of it, there is a small trash can placed in front of it. Owner needs a bigger 1

My advice is to keep looking, like I said the surrounding condo area is actually alright and they have lots of other places for rent just like this one if you're set on staying at this area.
