Not far from historic Colonial Williamsburg, this upscale resort boasts apartment- style accommodations with plenty of space for the family to be comfortable and united. The past will come to life as you will be surrounded by historic exhibits. The feel of the colonial times will be present, with all of the comforts of this modern age.



Governor's Green includes large, tastefully decorated suites with a fully equipped kitchenette or kitchen, as well as a spacious living room with sofa. Cable TV, DVD players, and video game consoles are included. Convenient washer and dryer is located in unit. Some rooms have a balcony and a spa bath.



Various activities are available and an indoor and outdoor pool will keep the family united while having fun. Challenge the kids in the arcade or at a game of mini-golf. Need to tend to a workout before the days' adventure? The fitness center will help you achieve that.

Location, room, and amenities were wonderful. Whatever you do, do not sign up for the timeshare presentation. It is sold as a 90 minute presentation. It wasted 3 and a half hours of our time. No "free presents" are worth that. It was like high pressure used car sales.It was our choice to participate in it so i don't want that to reflect on the host, just want to warn anyone staying at this facility.

Fantastic Resort!

I cannot say enough about our stay here. It was even better than the pictures and description. It was very very clean, quiet and everyone was so helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely return.

This condo was exactly what we needed to make our visit to Williamsburg the best. It was clean, had everything we needed: swimming pool, playground, and mini golf for the kids. Nice walking paths, pool table, and exercise room for adults. It was close to the many attractions in town

Loved property. It had everything we needed. 3 pools, rec room, nice club house, lovely grounds, easy walk to things, staff was good. Took advantage of Williamsburg and Busch Gardens offer but had to sit through 4 hours of high pressure to buy into Wyndham’s vacation shareholders club. That was the only negative thing and was at the beginning of our stay

Perfect ADA condo for weekend in Williamsburg!

This unit was perfect and met our needs. We had one in our party in a wheelchair and the unit was accessible and VERY comfortable. (You do need to contact the resort ahead of time and request a mobility unit which we did). The kitchen can use an update however it had everything we needed plus extras like dish soap, salt and pepper, paper towels etc. Everything was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. Best night sleep in a long time. Would definitely recommend!

Great family stay!

We stayed at this resort with friends and family for my son’s 2nd birthdate and we actually had an amazing experience. We were able to celebrate his bday at the pool, which both adults and kids thoroughly enjoyed. Later in the day the men went to the billiard room and later everyone got together by the fire pit for some family games and s’mores. The other guests were super friendly as well. The only negative experience was that there was a main water pipe break and we had to suffer without water to shower, clean and flush toilets for an entire day (11am-8pm, if I can recall) The resort provided water, but it was never enough and refused to offer any type of voucher or discount.

Great place for family vacation

Property was nice. Staff was helpful. Our family of 9 used the pool & mini golf on property, both were nice. Our unit had some minor issues, hot water in the stand up shower turned cold quickly. The other bathroom, the tub glaze was peeling so our grandson couldn't take a bath in there. Location was great, close to Busch Gardens & Outlets for shopping. All in all, it was a great trip!

We didn’t know it was a Time Share property. So the check-in process included many conversations about going to listen to a sales pitch. Then calls later. But the unit was spacious, clean and very comfortable for 4 adults and 2 kids. Great location for Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens and Great Wolf Lodge.

Property is convenient but alot of the services are not given the same attention as previousley, for instance, not linen in the bedroom and kitchen accessories missing. When requested staff was at your service. Also facilities need to be upgraded.

Great property and staff

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were so, so helpful. Jay from the front desk even texted me when he was out sick one day. Check in was really easy. Loved the evening social / snacks / Sunday morning mimosas and muffins. I needed a few bags of ice for the travel home for breastmilk and AJ at the front desk offered to store in their freezer if i needed. Way beyond expected hospitality. It’s pretty obvious it’s a time share situation so if that’s your thing, cool, if not, (and it isn’t ours) it wasn’t an annoyance. Pretty close to everywhere you want to go. Clean, readily available concierge… no complaints at all!

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. The beds were comfortable, and overall clean, but the kitchen floor was dirty. The kitchen could use a few more items to cook with ie. baking sheets, hot pads.

Great place, awful service from VRBO

We were really happy with our stay but we’re very UNHAPPY with the lack of professionalism from our VRBO host. Despite being repeatedly told, in writing, that our name would be on the reservation, we arrived after 7 hours in the car to discover that instead of our name, our hosts name was listed. We tried messaging, calling and emailing our host but got no response. This considerably delayed the checkin of seven tired people ansd was extremely unprofessional.furthermore, no apology or compensation was offered. Next time I’ll certainly book directly with the resort and not use VRBO.

Great Stay!

The property is nice with activities the teens enjoyed. Two pools are available. There are basketball courts, mini golf, and a cornhole setup. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Obviously, this is a members resort so after check-in you will be asked about attending a timeshare presentation. We politely declined and were not hassled. The staff were very friendly.
