Cute room nice resort
Weekend Wedding Getaway
Loved it here. It was so beautiful! The room had a microwave, mini fridge, dishes, table and chairs. So great way to save a few bucks if you need to. We had the breakfast buffet which was delicious. Several pools to pick from. Tons of loungers everywhere. The room comes with covered beachfront loungers as well, had a nice nap there :)
We had a great time with great accommodations. There wasn’t anything we would have changed. Very comfortable.
I would come back! Nice location.
Beautiful & Relaxing
We absolutely enjoyed are stay! The room was perfect for 4 people and the Tradewinds property has everything you need for a fun get away!
Nice little place
We stayed in the Bluegreen Building, also know as the Breckenridge Building, at the Tradewinds Resort. The Tradewinds property is huge but the building we stayed in was compact with convenient user-friendly parking, elevators, pool and beach amenities. It's pretty convenient to the huge waterslides on the beach and parents if you have kids they will be nagging you to go on the slide. A super benefit of this place is that they provide one beach "cabana" per room per day.The cabana provides two attached lounge chairs with drinkholders in the middle and a sun shade. Four towels are provided for the cabana upon request. Guests with larger parties may rent an additional cabana for $15. It's a good deal and a nice amenity. Our "Studio" room was the size of a basic hotel room with a wet bar and sink, half-size fridge and a cabinet with a few cups bowls and plates. You can't cook in there but you can give the kids cereal in the morning. The bathroom had updated decor and a nice layout. The only caution I'd give renters is that when you check in, the desk staff will tell you there is a $45/day "resort fee" (which I contested because it was not in my agreement with VRBO and my reservation was supposed to be prepaid and included cleaning fees, etc.) We had plenty of room for four typical adult weekend travelers to stow our belongings and have space to relax. If you are a family with a few kids staying for a long period you might want to book something a little bigger. Nobody nagged me at any time to attend a Timeshare presentation. The only negative was that the Hotel was not accommodating at all when I asked for a late checkout - they said the building was "completely sold out" without even checking their system - I do not believe it was sold out because the next day was a non-holiday Monday at the beginning of the off season. But what can I say - I am also a property owner and I tend to be accommodating when guests request to check out an hour or two later. My overall impression is yes, I'd recommend this place highly and I will probably stay here again because the experience, overall, was quite nice. In fact, can I please go back now?
