Franca was a wonderful host and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay. The house has everything you need and feels clean and comfortable. The location is perfect for walking to restaurants and the village. I will definitely return to this amazing place!

Cozy, private, and beautiful!

I really enjoyed staying at the pool house. It was the right size for me and it had all the things I needed to make my stay comfortable. The historic house is awesome, the gardens are beautiful and the pool very convenient after a day at the beach. I love the town and the Silvershell Beach! I really enjoyed meeting Franca who was super friendly and kind. I will definitely love to come back!!

4th of July Independent trip to rest and relax

This spontaneous trip was exactly what I was looking for. The property provided all things necessary for me to be able to not only enjoy myself but also to get the much needed peace and quiet I was seeking. Franca was very warm and welcoming and leaves nothing out when it comes to insuring her guests have what they need. The pool house is perfect for someone looking for an inexpensive, cozy, and accommodating place to stay. The village of Marion is quaint, friendly, and Patriotic. Would most definitely stay here again!!!

Franca is so sweet and very informative. Her place so comfortable and cozy. Bed is comfy. Air conditioning and fan work great. Although I didn’t use the pool it’s nice. She left water, coffee, sparkling water and biscottis which was nice. Great coffee shops and restaurants near by. Beach nearby. I would highly recommend her place.

Cozy getaway

I was looking for a last minute getaway for some quiet time. I found a little piece of paradise!! This home away from home was perfect. It is small and quaint and cozy. Pool all to yourself and a quick 2 miles to the beach. Marion is a cute little village. I can't say enough about the host Franca!! So kind, so accommodating and makes sure you're comfortable and that you have everything you need. Loved it so much I am going back in 2 weeks! If you're thinking about this place...book you! You won't be sorry!!

Charming and Relaxing

Franca leaves no detail unnoticed. Stay was immaculate and just as described. She is willing to provide anything you may need. Pool and beach towels provided. AC in the stay. Easy access to town. Great company! Franca is an attentive, but non-intrusive host. The home has amazing features and history. This is a perfect stay for solo traveler. Just enough space and accommodation. Wifi was always reliable. Comfort was not an issue. Marion is a very small and quiet town. I did not hear a single siren the entire time I was there. Speeding is non existent. With that being said, there is not a lot to do in town. I highly recommend the Atlantic Bistro for dinner and Kate's for lunch. Plan your day accordingly, getting onto the Cape is an exercise of patience. Overall, amazing stay! I will book it again!

Wonderful property to spend time alone, rest and recharge.

The two nights I spent here were exactly what I needed to get some needed peace and quiet time alone. The pool house is small yet perfectly equipped. Incredibly clean, light and airy. You have great privacy here. The pool and pool area are fabulous. Marion is a beautiful little town and lots of things to do and see here without being in a tourist area. Got a bagged breakfast from Kate's simple eats to enjoy next to the pool. In the evening I headed to Mary Celeste for a cocktail and an appetizer (only a block away). You don't feel like you need to go anywhere during the day because the peacefulness at the property is too good to pass up. Bring a good book and just enjoy having some alone!!!

Great stay, even with a hiccup

I loved staying at Franca's place! She was a very gracious and kind host. And the space was beautiful and very nicely designed for one person. What made put this stay above and beyond 5 stars for me was that when there was a brief plumbing issue that made it impossible to stay in the pool house for the remainder of my trip, Franca was incredibly communicative, offered that I could shower in another beautiful part of her home, sent me off with a bottle of wine, and refunded me generously and promptly. So, the stay was perfect, until it wasn't-- and then Franca handled the hiccup with grace. Would definitely stay with her again. Best, Amy
