This cabin was perfect for our family, especially our young boys. They had a ball playing in the creek. There were games there to play at night and the outside porch area was awesome. The weather was so nice, we spent a lot of time on the porch.
The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of linens, comfortable beds, and a washer and dryer for convivence (which we didn't think we'd use until we returned from hiking).
Thank you to the owners (Maria & Emanuel) who emailed us before we came with all of their "favorites" to help us decide what to do while visiting.
Some things we did, we would recommend for other families.
~Ate lunch at Flat Rock Wood Room. Great pizza and seasonal wines/beers.
~We shopped and walked downtown Hendersonville.
~Hiked Rainbow Falls at Jones Gap State Park (even with a 4 year old who was a trooper)
~Visited Swamp Rabbit Brewery in Travelers Rest. Great beers! They had a food truck (Poke Yama) and man, "IT WAS GOOD!"
~On our way out, we stopped at Wakey Monkey Cafe. The coffee was amazing and they had many fresh pastries, frittatas, breakfast croissants, etc.
