We’re very sorry to hear this guest did not enjoy their stay. While we understand that comfort levels can vary from person to person, this review does not reflect the condition of the home or the experience of our many satisfied guests. At the time of their messages, the guest initially mentioned bedding and general discomfort and later claimed an infestation, which was never supported with verifiable evidence. We promptly offered to investigate and scheduled a professional inspection. That report confirmed no signs of bed bugs, cockroaches, or any infestation. Since their departure, the property has been occupied by new guests without any complaints. We take feedback seriously and work hard to maintain clean, well-prepared homes for every arrival. For any questions, we encourage future guests to reach out to us directly—we’re happy to share how we ensure each stay is a positive one.

Along with the very convenient location, being just steps to a private beach is certainly one of our favorite features of this rental! We are sorry to hear your disappointment regarding the pool and hot tub having not been open. That being said, I must admit that it is a bit of a mystery as to how you were aware of a pool & hot tub on premises prior to reserving, as these features are intentionally omitted for just that reason - they are indeed part of the property, but are not included as an amenity because they are not intended for usage by renters.

However, if you look through the pictures of the unit you can see it is an interior unit. You did not reach out to us to request a unit on the end, which is something we do not have. Your feedback is incredibly valuable, and we will be addressing these concerns with the homeowner to ensure we improve our standards moving forward. We appreciate your understanding of the maintenance team’s efforts, but I wish we had been able to resolve everything more promptly for you. I can't say I blame you for wishing the pool and hot tub were available for use. That being said, and just for the sake of clarification, the pool & hot tub are deliberately omitted from the amenities associated with this rental, as they are not intended for guest usage.
