The Helen Reprieve is perfect for those looking to experience their trip as a local! Located directly across from Innsbruck golf resort, our one bedroom suite is tucked away in a unique Bavarian styled condo.

Itā€™s a beautiful stroll to downtown Helen.
For our outdoor enthusiasts we are walking distance to all the fun Helen has to offer such as tubing, putt putt, fishing, hiking, shopping, restaurants, etc.

Located inside of the condo we offer free WiFi, Roku, and YouTube tv for all of your entertainment and live sports needs. A kitchenette with a refrigerator and microwave.

We are more popular on Airbnb but want to offer our home to the VRBO community as well! Weā€™re superhosts and have a 4.9 star rating!

The Helen Reprieve is most ideal for couples, solo travelers, and furry friend enthusiasts with their furry companions!

Perfect getaway

We loved this place! It was clean, homey and secluded. We were only 5ish minutes from downtown Helen, but felt like we were all by ourselves. This was the perfect weekend getaway my husband and I needed.

Property was damp and smelled musty. Bathroom had obviously flooded at some point and is in need of major updates. Kitchen also dated and the dishes were not clean. Water was left in Keurig. The owner was nice and helpful but I would not stay again

Relaxing and close to everything

I really enjoyed staying at the condo. It was close enough that I could get in my car and see everything. I would have liked to have walked to everything but it wasn't close enough for me to do that. But I would definitely rent again if I'm in the area. I love the little coffee counter so I could make coffee in the morning. Just a perfect little place for getting away.

one night stay

The location was good. Very quiet. A longer walk to tube and to the restaurants than I figured, but that was my mistake. The owner was hospitable with letting us check in 1 hour early. The bed was not comfortable and the pillows were super flat. (just one per person) We were only there to sleep, so we didn't cook. Just showered and slept. The towels were damp so they had a mildew smell to them. Overall an ok place. Just needs a much better mattress and pillows and towels definitely need to be dried before putting up in cabinets.

Didnā€™t end up staying because upon arrival found 3 huge dead cockroaches in the middle of the floor and one still moving. Obviously no one came day of the clean/check the property. Room had a musky smell to it. Was only offered a refund not another option for a different place. So had to find another hotel to stay. Ended up having to call VRBO in order to get my refund.

Started with a blip but turned out wonderful!

When we got to the VRBO, we found it not ready for us, which we have had happen with another VRBO. We were unsure of how to proceed (as it was late in the evening and were afraid there would be no option but to check into a cheap hotel), so we reached out to Christie. She was professional and apologetic at the miscommunication with her cleaning staff, and offered us the upstairs as a substitute until our place was ready downstairs or we could wait and she would have the crew come that evening to get it done. We chose to take the upstairs, as we were tired from our travels and wanted to grab a bite to eat and go to bed. Overall, she more than made up for the beginning blip in our stay, and the place was clean, comfortable, and beyond our expectations. We were able to walk into town and avoid all the crazy parking that is in town, which was fantastic. The upstairs property that we stayed in the first night was also lovely, and we are definitely considering that when we come back with the whole family. Her kind and truly caring disposition was more than we have experienced with other stays (both hotels and rentals.) Thank you, Christie, for making our stay so great! We look forward to renting from you again!

Ok if you wonā€™t be there much

Unfortunately we didnā€™t even stay one night. You donā€™t get the whole place to yourself, youā€™re in the basement of a condo with someone else staying upstairs, the only thing separating you is a door that is locked from the other side. The place is clean and very close to downtown but thatā€™s about all it has to offer. Bed was small and uncomfortable from what we could tell and the bathroom is TINY. Would not recommend for more than 1 person.

Perfect location for walking downtown

This was the perfect size for my boyfriend and I. We wanted to have something that was close enough to Helen to walk, while still being easy to drive in and out of with the traffic in Helen. We loved the coffee station to warm up in the mornings, and the shower stayed hot for my whole shower when we came back from hiking. The hosts were so nice and helpful because there was some confusion when we first checked in. The TV was also really nice, it was big enough to watch comfortably from bed. There was a scented oil warmer that made the entire apartment smell wonderful. I would stay here again!

Issues with cleanliness but great stay.

When we arrived the trash was not emptied in the kitchen and bathroom area which attracted flies. There was also damp, smelly towels left on the side of the bathtub. Once we took care of those issues the stay was wonderful. Great location and quiet.

Oktoberfest -my dog and me: first time visiting Helen: The condo is adorable: bright, clean, and comfortable. The owner was amazingly responsive to my ā€œseveralā€ messages and inquiries. A little tricky finding the unit at first, and it was not as walkable to the ā€œactionā€ as I had hoped, but that also made it quiet and private, and I felt very safe! Highly recommend!
