The property itself is very nice & the view is spectacular! However, Many of the amenities listed were in disrepair. The stove never worked (they offered a hot plate), the fireplace worked the first night and didn’t work after that. The washing machine had a note on it (meaning it’s been broken for some time) stating it didn’t work. One of the windows in the bedroom had a broken handle and couldn’t be opened.The management company at first said someone would be out to fix things but no one came. The next day I was informed that we were put on the list and they didn’t know when someone would be out. Unexceptionable!After much back and forth they offered 75 refund, it should have been more like 75 per night. I’ve had issues with Meredith Lodging before, I won’t rent from them again.

I apologize the stove, fireplace, washing machine, and window were not functioning and for the slow response from our maintenance team — that should not have happened. We did notify you of the washing machine and fireplace being out of order ahead of time, and I'm truly sorry that other issues arose during your stay, too. Our team is working very hard to repair those amenities and expect fixes to be in place shortly. A very nice, clean condo with gorgeous view. Very convenient parking spot. I read some of the reviews that said it’s outdated. Maybe a couple things, not troublesome at all. Some very fun mirrors throughout. And smaller bedroom has some wonderful vintage type furnishings. I certainly would recommend staying here.

Parking was super tight. Tiny kitchen with breaker tripping when using oven, microwave and toaster oven simultaneously. Worst was opting for late checkout to be ambushed by noise from HOA repair people and no apologies or discounts from property management. Won’t be returning.

This was a great spot!

We had a great time watching the ocean in Depoe Bay! The spot had a great view, easy kitchen and access to the coastline and town.

Place was dirty (did get a cleaning deposit refund) , furniture worn, ripped. No current on master bedroom window that overlooks a public seating area. Rodent traps in living room and kitchen. Exposed electrical wiring, etc, etc. Disappointing to say the least. Depoe Bay itself was great, lots of whale sightings!

“The stay was comfortable overall, but the place felt quite outdated. The floors were uneven, the kitchen showed obvious water damage, and the exterior was covered in moss and needed cleaning. The key code was dialed into on the box below and open for all to see, which didn’t feel very secure. Tenants around were a bit odd, though that’s not really on the host.”

Our stay at the oceanfront condo was nothing short of magical. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with breathtaking views of the Pacific that seemed to stretch endlessly in both directions. The condo is in an excellent location with an unobstructed view of the ocean. Beautifully decorated and has a cozy vibe. The third bathroom is a plus. The parking is very convenient and you can also leave your car at the condo and walk to all the shops and restaurants. Possible downsides: As others have mentioned the second bedroom with the full bed has a worn mattress. Our granddaughter slept in that bedroom and found the mattress not very comfortable. Also, the flooring does need to be replaced especially in the kitchen area. The flooring would not deter us from staying there again. Overall a very nice condo unit.

Beautiful cove

For a spur of the moment, one night trip, it was awesome! The Townhouse was clean, well kept, and beautiful. The day time traffic kind of overpowered the sound of the waves, but once night set in, it was perfect! It was my first time staying here but I would definitely book it again!

Perfect little spot for a family vacation at Depoe Bay

Well-maintained. Family home. We were 2 couples and were able to make small meals and enjoy them together in a relaxing space. All details are accurate. Saw a pod of grey whales on our first day from the upstairs window.

Amazing

The location was perfect. The upstairs Master Bedroom has the best view! It was so nice having a fireplace to cozy up. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped. I could go on and one. If you’re looking for somewhere to unwind and have amazing ocean views this is for you!🌺🌺🌺

The unit was clean and very functional but furniture needs upgrading. A lot of lights weren’t functional and the fireplace only worked sporadically. Kitchen floor was uneven and some teflon cookware needs to be replaced due to scratches which is unhealthy. Blinds in the bedroom did not work. We contacted the host twice about some problems but 2nd time no one showed up. That said location was perfect. Beautiful views and within walking distance to town.

Amazing Ocean View

Amazing view of Depoe Bay. Overall, we had a good time. The location is great and we were able to get some glimpses of the whales. The only issue we had was the stove did not work properly. The stove needs to be replaced. If you plan on cooking, you may want to check to see if stove has been repaired/replaced.

In all honesty if I didn’t already have this all paid for and booked, I would have tried to find somewhere else to stay. Let’s start with the amenities offered. Washer didn’t work, staying with a baby for a week and no washer, very inconvenient to say the least. Granted we were made aware of this and did pack a few extra items for the week it also made our baggage overweight to accommodate that. So extra 100 spent to make sure we had back up outfits. Second, Fireplace (one of the main reasons we chose this place) something we very much were looking forward to using, unavailable to use the whole length of our stay. Third, the stove this is something we did NOT know wasn’t working until we tried to use it. Spent 150 on groceries for the week just to HARDLY be able to cook those groceries as the stove top did not work. We let them know 1x and they sent someone out and they said it was fixed. Went to use it after being “fixed” just to have the stove stop working again after 5 minutes. Called customer service and essentially was told “oh so sorry that unfortunate”. About 2 hours later they brought us a hot plate to us. That hot plate as well was a pain and more inconvenient to use than what it was worth honestly but we made do. So because the stove wasn’t working we had to eat out more frequently than planned. So out money for groceries and extra eating out. Fourth, furniture was a nightmare! It was awkwardly placed in the living room and we soon found out that a chair was broke

I can report that both the washing machine and range will be replaced this week. The fireplace and chair have been repaired, too. We did not stay here so I'm surprised I was reviewed as a guest

I was so excited to come to Depoe Bay, but unfortunately we were notified by Meredith Lodging that we couldn't go to the property at Depoe Bay because it was flooded. We were so sad, but Meredith did provide us with a beautiful alternative. We will definitely try Depoe Bay in the future. We stayed at Captains Cottage in Pacific Coty and had lovely accommodations and enjoyed our stay.
