The mattresses were horrible, we had to go buy an air mattress just so we could get some kind of sleep. The brown blanket on the down stairs bed still had black animal hair on it from what I assume was guests before us. The couch was uncomfortable. The hot tub was dirty. Our biggest thing was the bed being so hard. Felt like you were sleeping on the floor.

Needs some TLC

The convenient location of the cabin and private setting was perfect. The cabin itself needs some major updating and cleaning. Unfortunately, the first impression was a stinky and hot cabin. We have two mastiffs at home, so we know a little about dog smells, but this was overwhelming. The appliances are old - The top rack on the dishwasher was rusted and fell while washing dishes. The kitchen counter still had a coffee ring stain and food crumbs from what I'm assuming was from the previous guest. The oven eyes were crooked and the inside of the oven was dirty. The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable & the visible part of the box springs looked like a crime scene. Most of the linens were clean, but some of the pillow cases had questionable stains. The towels smelled like mildew and probably because the inside of the washing machine was covered in mold. There was thick dust on the ceiling fans and curtains. If you are planning on cooking meals in this place, bring your own pots, pans, and whatever else you need because it was absolutely not stocked as listed. The check-in process and reaching the property manager was easy. These issues were addressed via phone with the property manager.
