Perfect time!

Beautiful home - perfect for our weekend away!

We arrived on Friday to this clean, well equipped, beautifully quaint home for our ladies’ get-away weekend. It was perfect! So close to the many attractions, shops & restaurants in the area.

We are older gentlemen who participate in the Josh Billings Triathlon. The house is located near the areas we would be using. The house was comfortable and roomy. Our previous experience was to stay in a motel, which doesn't lend itself to sharing space. We loved sharing breakfast together and socializing both before and after the event. We were close to restaurants and ice cream places. The days following the event, we were close to hiking trails, a rail trail for bicycling and we went back for another kayak session. How great to be close to all these activities! It was easy to contact Mary with questions we had regarding the locations of restaurants etc. We hope to be able to return next year.

A/C was insufficent for the house. Doors old hard to open and close, a fw doors could not be closed. A little of a musty smell.

House is on a very busy road so road noise is pretty loud. Relatively quiet at night. Upon first entering, house had a strong musty odor. Went away after opening windows. Upstairs bath is in the bedroom which makes it awkward for guests in other upstairs bedroom to use it. Otherwise, house is neat, clean and well equipped. Good location to Tanglewood. Appreciated all the amenities provided by owner, esp sundries in kitchen.

Loved our stay

Our stay was fantastic, the house is cozy and well appointed. the beds are prefect, with plenty of warm blankets for a chilly Berkshire night. Our host was incredibly accommodating and went out of their way to ensure our comfort. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking a family meal. Can't wait to go back next year

A Gem of a Stay!

Mary was wonderful, the place was lovely, cozy and nicely updated and decorated. We were five adults needing a place to stay for the Berkshire Yoga Festival and I wanted to spend more time simply enjoying the home. A very positive experience!

A good long weekend

Ben and I enjoyed a good long weekend at the correctly described Beautiful Lenox Home. Mary, your host, has thought of everything to help you feel comfortable and very quickly to adjust to your home away from home. It is very well located so that you can easily visit the many places of interest nearby. The rules for checking in and out were clear and simple. We are delighted give this a 5-star rating. David and Ben will return, for sure!

Great house with old fashioned charm

We had a great stay. The house was well furnished, with plenty of space for us, our children, and my parents. There was a nice dining room and a decent kitchen. Our kids loved the arcade machine and air hockey table, and it was a convenient location. The host was very responsive and friendly. The checkout rules were a bit stringent, and it had the quirks of an older house, but overall we loved the place and would highly recommend it to others.

Perfect location, easy check-in/check-out

Perfectly location for Lenox, Stockbridge, and other local towns. House was just as described and comfortable for a family of 5. Property contact was proactive, reaching out to make sure we were settled in. Pacman and air hockey games were a big hit! We would book again.

the house was fine, upstairs rooms were a bit cramped and the AC did not work too well, especially on a hot day. Downstairs was more comfortable. Our main issue was the location- which should be more clearly outlined in the listing. This was on a busy road ( basically a high way) and very loud, hard to turn into the house and difficult for any walking.

Nice house inside

Lovely house inside. Excellent and kind host. Upstairs bedrooms a bit confining with the bathroom in one of the bedrooms. We didn't like the location being right on Route 7.

Church Ladies Getaway

Once the air conditioning clicked in, this property was just what we needed. We were concerned about the location close to the road but inside you are unaware and geographically we were in a perfect spot to access all the places we planned to visit. Our host was responsive and even reached out when storm warnings came to give advice. We had a great visit to a beautiful area of the Berkshires. Our finale to many years of travelling together!

Like going to your grandmother's house.

Very clean place. Decorated like your grandmother's house. Homey. And you get to use the garage--a big help on a snowy weekend. If you want convenience and cleanliness, this is a great spot. If you want quiet--skip. It's right on Rt. 7 and you have lots of traffic moving by at high speeds. But to their credit, there are many sound machines to drown it out.

Great spot in Berkshire County

We have stayed here twice and it is a great spot, located a few minute drive north of downtown Lenox. The house is cozy yet spacious and is great for our family to stay in while visiting family in the area. We used the kitchen to cook a meal during one of the stays and we had everything we needed. There is an air hockey table in the basement which the kids enjoyed. The house is on a main road, but it was still easy enough to pull in and out of and the noise of the road did not bother us at all. The host Mary is great and very responsive. We will be back. Wonderful Valentine's Day Weekend in Lenox

We had a wonderful stay at Mary's property in Lenox. The house was beautiful and had a great amount of space for our family. The home was extremely clean, very well appointed, and the beds were so comfortable. The location was central to everything that we were looking to do and almost all of the activities that we enjoyed (snow tubing at Bousquet mountain, snowshoeing at Pleasant Valley, shopping in Lenox) were at most, 5-10 minutes away. Mary was very helpful with suggestions for area attractions and restaurants and was very responsive to any question that we had. We had a great time and would definitely stay at this property again.

A perfect place for a stay in the Berkshires

My grown daughter and I stayed here for a two night visit to the Berkshires. It was so nice to have an entire house rather than a hotel room! We received our check in email in plenty of time, the house was clean and furnished with generous amenities such as soaps, shampoos, coffee, etc., the owner was readily available. The house is close to the road, but it really wasn’t a problem…white noise machines and air purifiers made sleeping very comfortable, and there was very little traffic noise. The house has plenty of space for relaxing, including a lovely little porch and a great backyard space, which we didn’t use, but looked very appealing. The kitchen was well equipped, with all the appliances you’d need. We hope to come back next year!
