The Free Spirit is a 75' Hatteras that has been meticulously cared for. She is the ideal location for gatherings of family and friends.

This 4 bedroom/4 bath yacht has all of the comforts of home with fully appointed kitchen, living room, dining room and multiple decks to enjoy the beautiful weather.

The Free Spirit is docked at The Perry Hotel and Marina in Key West. There are many amenities to this chic hotel, including gym facilities, two outdoor pools, two restaurants and a grill-style eatery with a terrace and marina views. It is conveniently located 5 miles to downtown nightlife Key West/Duval street and 3 miles from the Key West International Airport. Parking is included in the rate. There is also a shuttle that runs daily.

The nightly rate applies when you stay in this marina, however, the Free Spirit can be moved to any marina in the Keys subject to dock availability. Day and overnight charters for up to 10 guests are available. We would confirm availability and provide quote as to additional charges per night as chartering rates are separate based on length of duration of your charter and availability of captain and crew, etc.

So much fun!

The marina is the perfect location! There are 4 bedrooms so it is perfect for a group of friends (all individual beds except the master). The kitchen was well stocked to make all means and the grill on the top deck was great!

Incredible Yaht experience!

Location is awesome! 3 levels of fun on the boat. Upper covered/uncovered party level, 2nd level, living room, kitchen, and very cool back deck area, lower level bedrooms and bathrooms. Private beach and incredible restaurant. Highly recommend. FYI - for excursions, you’ll take a smaller boat out, but still very nice and the captain is a great guy

Living on a boat!

Very clean and perfectly appointed. Views of sunrise and sunset. We ate outside near to top deck grill most evenings. Terrific amenities on shore at the marina, including restaurant, pool, beach, fitness room and kayaks. This is a boat, so 3 of 4 bedrooms are not large, but the common spaces are terrific. Eight adults had a great time!

Herrera Mufasa Trip

We had a fantastic experience! Staying on the yacht on the water was magical. The yacht had a great and spacious salon, four full bathrooms, great deck on top and super location at the end of the marina. Our Stewart Heather, George the maintenance gentleman and Jeannie, our host could not have been more welcoming. We charted the boat for a sunset cruise where Heather cooked up a delicious meal. Captain Gregg was an absolute professional. Highly recommend, we are certainly coming back.

Great location for exploring Key West

We had a bunch of guys stay here recently while we were in town for a fishing trip. We also had the penthouse at The Perry hotel but ended up spending more time on on the 3rd deck roof of the boat! It's an older boat but very cool with lots of character, plenty of room 8 guys in their 30s to sleep with everyone getting their own bed. It's hard to beat the location and price honestly! We rented golf carts from the hotel used those to explore the beaches and downtown area. The marina is only 10 min from the airport and grocery store so we had no need for a car.

Key west fishing guys

The stay was good. As a comment the air should have been on from morning og arrivals. One toilet was not working a created some smells on lower deck, was not fixed. Dock right out side was rubbing each other making a loud noise all night. Thank you sharing your boat we enjoyed our trip and will recommend this as a good spot to stay.thank you.

Guys 50th Birthday

We had five guys for four nights on the Free Spirit in May 2021. We had a super time and the resort pool and beach was used every day. Andrea welcomed us like family and helped us arrange a fishing day as well. Only hiccup was not understanding when/if we could take the boat out ( depends on if Captain is in Key West ) so check this ahead of booking if that is key thing you want to do.

Wonderful Experience!

If you are thinking about staying here do not hesitate! Such a wonderful experience. Easy check in and check out. Tons of space. We are a family of five and myself and husband had a master bedroom with our own bathroom and each of our kids had their own bedroom and bathroom. If you are worried about the boat rocking while on it then don’t! You don’t even know you are on a boat at all! The views are amazing- and it is very peaceful and quiet where the boat is docked. The Yacht Club is very well maintained and though we didn’t have a chance to visit the restaurant it looked amazing! From here you are about a 35 minute drive to Fort Zachary Beach- and 30 mins to Duval Street. (Only about 4.5 miles). We will for sure back!

We had the most amazing time. The check in was very easy. It is very clean and spacious. Was concerned only with one of the rooms not having the ac working however we reported it and it was promptly addressed. The marina pool and restaurant was a great bonus. We can not wait to come back.

Andrea was amazing from the get go. I had a request as it was my wife’s birthday and she nailed it! Andrea provided us a thorough tour of Free Spirit and nothing was off limits. She reached out to me daily to check on our stay. We found the Free Spirit to be extremely accommodating for our party of 6 and could have easily had 8 and been comfortable. The entire yacht is well stocked. We had access to the yacht club. It had a very nice pool/beach area/restaurant. We highly recommend this yacht for anyone looking for a great time in Stock Island or to be near Key West. Our entire family had an amazing time!

Great Yacht - Poor Maintenance and Unpleasant Customer Service

Overall, my friends and I had an excellent time staying at this yacht. It is quite large, 3 decks with a fully equipped kitchen, 4 bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs, including a master suite, and a really nice top deck where you can enjoy the evenings. The kitchen works great - we cooked breakfast every day and there is AC in most rooms which keeps the yacht surprisingly cool. Unfortunately, one of the bedrooms had a leak. I'm not sure from where but the entire room was soaked and the smell in the room was unbearable. With the door closed, the rest of the lower floor with all the bedrooms and the entranceway of the yacht still smelled like fecal matter. Not the smell you want to be smelling when you go to sleep, but with your bedroom door closed, the smell is more faint and you get used to it (although one of my friends could not take it and just slept on the couch in the living room upstairs). We were told by Andrea that someone would show up to fix it, but no one ever showed up. In addition, Andrea tacked on an extra $150 fee for "an extra guest". There isn't a very effective way to dispute these charges so as of the day of this review, it seems we will be stuck paying this extra fee. It's pretty shocking that the property manager can just add fees to your reservation without your consent (damages would be understandable but not the case here) - so beware.

This is extremely disheartening to read as we strive for our guests to have the best stay possible when staying on the Yacht, as you can see from our other reviews. I do wish you had informed me of the smell during your stay as this is something that could have been addressed immediately. As it stands, Fernando (one of your party) informed me that the floor in one of the rooms was damp. I did arrange for someone to come over the next morning to check on it but when I texted Fernando that morning and asked if everything was okay, he told me that it was. At that time, I cancelled the maintenance worker and heard nothing further from you either about a smell or the damp carpet still being an issue. In fact, I did not hear from you again until your day of departure. Our charges for extra guests are clearly listed on VRBO and in all our literature, in addition to being included in the confirmation emails that we send. Upon your day of departure, I requested the payment for the additional guests in your party, to both you and Fernando. I did not receive a response from either of you, and I’m disappointed that you did not feel comfortable reaching out at the time, as I would have been happy to answer any questions. I do want to assure you that I do not have the ability to charge your card for anything unless it’s done through VRBO in accordance to their policy. What this means is that it can only be done for legitimate, pre-determined, and clearly advertised charges. VRBO holds us to a very high standard and it’s simply not possible to circumvent this by adding undisclosed fees or charges. Hope this helps! Wishing you the best in your future travels!

Boat get away

This boat is older, the top/ main floor were awesome- but sleeping areas need to be updated. Im not a avid boater, like some of our group, so was surprised at how little space you have. We had air conditioning troubles the whole time- so that wasnt great, weather was in high 70s and 86 last day, and one bedroom smelled pretty bad/ like sewer- maybe due to the air issue?? Our toilet kept saying the tank was full, and at one point started to fill up. Andrea was wonderful- she did her best to try and remedy all the issues- it was just a little disappointing, as we always want our vacations to be perfect

We had an unbelievable vacation at Stock Island and Key West.

We had an unbelievable family vacation at Stock Island and Key West. Andrea and Sean are amazing and completely try to do everything to make your vacation the best it could possibly be. We spent both the Christmas and New Year’s holiday on the yacht and went down to Key West almost every day. We fished with three different captains and limited out on yellowtail snapper and caught several other species. A vacation of a lifetime and recommended highly for anyone who is looking for a great time in the keys.

We had a great time on the boat. It was clean and spacious. The amenities (pool, beach, clubhouse) were amazing and made it feel like a resort. We were also able to walk to a few local restaurants that were all delicious. And we were just a short uber away from downtown.
