Smiths Lake For those wanting to enjoy still waters instead of the open ocean, Smiths Lake is the number one choice in the Pacific Palms area. Shrouded by a lush littoral forest and neatly separated from the sea by Sandbar Beach, this is a family favourite for those eager to enjoy a spot of water-skiing, boating, paddling or windsurfing (the open lake waters making for a windsurfer’s dream!). With an impressive catchment area spanning 32 square kilometres and waterways of 11 square kilometres you can enjoy all the benefits of this unique, tucked-away calm waterway. However, should you feel a pull for the waves, the picturesque Cellito Beach can be accessed via a boardwalk at the northern end of Sandbar Beach.

we, a group of 10 friends, were very satisfied with this stayz listing. the house was exactly as described, clean, had enough ammenities for everyone, and was perfect for what we were looking for. the wifi was reliable, there was enough seats for everyone, and comfy beds.
The house is in a very quiet location, which we loved, also has lovely views, very relaxing!

Lake house with a very peaceful view
Lovely light filled living space with great view of the lake. Short drive to the surf beaches and local shops, and easy stroll down to the lake for the teenagers to go fishing in the kayaks.
Unfortunately, there is no wifi access included which, in 2021 seems a bit stingy for the prices we were paying. Not only did it bring much frustration for the children it also meant that we could not access any information on the bush fire situation that was occurring directly across the lake!!
There is also “Welcome” book to let you know about any shops/ bush walks/ local eateries etc in the area.
It did make for a lovely trip away despite the above.

Disappointing for the price
It is a lovely property with fantastic views but to justify the price it requires some maintenance and extra cleaning, furniture repairs/replacement.
Nice house for a little getaway, close walk to the lake and shops.
Living area is directly above some of the bedrooms which was a little noisy and two of the other rooms are external to the house which isn’t fully depicted in house description.
The house was a little dirty, dishes and glasses weren’t as clean as expected considering large cost of the place to rent.
Overall was an enjoyable stay.

Thank you Caitlin, we look forward to seeing you again!
Was such a beautiful home , so many features to enjoy your stay amongst the multi level property. A view looking over the lake and the fresh air , you'll feel like your own private resort.
The whole process with picking up the keys and friendly team was second to none. Very impressed 10/10
