Everything was perfect. The host is amazing and makes it a very personal experience. Only thing that made this visit not 100% is the fact you can hear a lot of road noise on the porch. But You do not hear the noise in the cabin. There are no neighbors visible it is extremely private This is the cleanest rental we have ever been to ( and we have done a lot).

The cabin was clean, well furnished, with nice linens and fully equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the time there but it did not feel like the quiet private get away we were really hoping for. We had several calls from the property owner before and during our stay which is unusual in our experience. We also had two people show up at the cabin (lost) during a four day stay. The view from the deck is lovely but the road noise was more than expected.

A Sunset Dream was a beautiful log cabin situated in a private woods setting in a quiet neighborhood. Somewhat dicey getting up the mountain road, but otherwise perfectly secluded. The views were outstanding and the cabin was very clean and well taken care of. Lisa, the host, was a joy to work with and was very informative and kind. We had a wonderful anniversary here, and would recommend to anyone planning a restful, quiet getaway.

Cozy & Charming

Host was friendly and helpful and provided extra supplies/ amenities that were much appreciated. Suggest you call her, rather than emailing. Location was convenient and beautiful. The drive up is not for the faint of heart, but the view along the way is beautiful. The lovely cabin is clean, well maintained, cozy and charming. The rustic decor/furnishings are perfect. We appreciated the private, quiet setting. You can faintly hear the traffic from the hwy below, but it didn’t disturb us. As expected the healthy green foliage from beautiful hardwood trees particularly block the view this time of year, but it’s still majestic. We only left the cabin twice during our four night stay, for late lunches. Perfect spot for a restful, relaxing 35th wedding anniversary get away!

Relaxing cabin with a beautiful view

This cabin, located between Ellijay and Blue Ridge, offers a peaceful retreat from everyday life. The cabin was well kept and has a deck with a great view. Being able to enjoy that view from a relaxing hot tub was a plus. The cabin's location made it a short drive to go shopping in downtown Ellijay or Blue Ridge. The owner was communicative and provided all the details about the cabin and its amenities. I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a getaway.

Property was great & a good fit for our family. The drive up the mountain was a little more than we liked. However, the property owner kept calling before & after arrival and again before checkout with numerous questions instead of just sending through vrbo. We had to call & have a long conversation with the owner to get the entry code when all other Vrbo owners send an email prior to check in. Also, the Dish Network for TV had little variety such as no sports channels. There was no way to access popular streaming services (no ROKU) & TV did not allow casting from personal devices. The mountain views are very beautiful & the property is quiet & secluded. Great hot tub!

Blue Ridge 50 th Anniversary stay!

Very nice home ,recommended changes would be a Kurig Coffee Maker & Refrigerator with auto ice maker! Discussed updated linens are needed ASAP and says they are ordered!!!

Cherry log weekend

We were both just looking for some rest and relaxation. This was the perfect weekend. Cabin was very comfortable and we especially enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and the hot tub. We’ll be back!

Rest & Relaxation

The cabin is very cozy, clean and very well kept. It has everything needed in the kitchen to cook a full meal. The view is beautiful. We were snowed in but we were there to relax so no issues for us we played games and rested. Lisa (our host) was extremely helpful and helped us navigate through everything needed since we were completely snowed in. She called us prior to our arrival to ensure we had enough food and then was available at every call to help us with clearing out the snow and to ensure we were safe and exited our trip safely. I wasn't able to do much outside the cabin but restaurants and food stores were just about a 10 min drive. I plan on going back once the winter is over. Thank you Lisa!

Beautiful Cabin, Wonderful Host!

We visited for the weekend for our 5-year wedding anniversary, desperately needing a peaceful reprieve from our day to day. This cabin is perfectly secluded and was just so serene. You’re positioned right between Ellijay and Blue Ridge so there are plenty of dining and shopping options, if you even feel the need to leave. The beds were so comfy and the hot tub was amazing! My only regret is that we went before the leaves turned colors too much or fell off the trees to see the full view in the back. Lisa, the owner, is so thorough and gracious - she was a dream. We wanted for nothing and had such a nice weekend!

Thoroughly enjoyed the cabin

The views, the hot tub, fire pit, all the the kitchen supplies, everything was so enjoyable. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could need. Lisa was such a helpful host. The outdoor space was perfect for morning coffee and a birthday dinner. Everything was perfect.would definitely recommend and would love to return.

Long Weekend Getaway

My wife and I wanted time away together and the mountains of Ellijay/Blue Ridge were at the top of our list. We arrived on a Thursday and stayed through Sunday. The cabin was beautifully situated on the side of the mountain with the deck and hot tub facing the west. This 2 bedroom cabin was beautifully appointed, exceptionally clean, and everything we were looking for in a getaway. We definitely plan to return.

Our 3 night stay at Suset Dream over the Fourth of July weekend was wonderful. Lisa our host was the epitome of accommodating and made us feel welcome. She even had special decorations up for the fourth holiday. Very nice touch. The cabin is in excellent condition with new everything it seems. All we needed was food. Lisa had everything we might need on hand including full organic toiletries and fabulous towels and sheets. The beds are very comfortable and have plenty of pillows. The back rocking chair porch is a special treat as it faces west for spectacular sunsets, but our favorite view was from the warmth of the big comfy spa which is positioned for privacy and the sunset view. A really nice feature. The gas grill performs flawlessly and we had mountain Valley farms grass fed steaks one night. We visited historic downtown Ellijay and had supper at El Rey Tex mex on Lisa’s recommendation and it was spectacular. We loved the neighborhood too, and plan to be back soon. Thanks to Lisa we really experienced the sunset dream in the best possible way.

Modern log cabin. Owner has spent quality time for attention to detail. Cabin was immaculate. Great furniture and beds. End of road privacy. Back deck has view of mountains. Cabin is up on mountain. Back deck has 4 rocking chairs and hot tub. Owner - Lisa, was fantastic with any and all help.
