The studio was very charming! Just 5 min to park, and right off a side street in a quiet area of town. Kitchen was very well stocked. Apartment was absolutely spotless and perfectly maintained. Wifi, and washer/dryer were great amenities for us. The owners were out of town when we checked in, but reachable and responsive by phone/text. We met Marc at check out and he was very nice. We had no issues while staying in the studio and would book again in a heartbeat. We stayed here to take a guided flyfishing trip in Yellowstone. We will be back!
Spotless. Modern. Cozy.
Walking distance to West Yellowstone entrance. Immaculate. Modern amenities
Very comfortable stay!
Very nice accommodations, clean place,. Very modern styling. owners are great people.
Fantastic accomodations close to Yellowstone
I waited a little too long to make lodging arrangements for our summer trip to Yellowstone, and I was pretty disappointed that there wasn't anything available inside the park. But then I came across this great listing on VRBO, and while it was a little bit more than I was hoping to pay, it was worth it. SJ met us at the apartment and walked us through how everything worked. She even gave us a quick "down and dirty" list of what we shouldn't miss while in Yellowstone.
The apartment was very comfortable, and I loved the furnishings. Unfortunately, we were too busy in Yellowstone to spend more time in it and truly enjoy it. The kitchen was a godsend, and saved me a lot of money, as we were able to eat breakfast and dinner at the apartment and pack lunches in a cooler for each day. I'm proud to say that we managed to avoid eating out entirely during our stay! It was also fantastic to have a washer and dryer available and be able to do a couple of loads of laundry and leave for our next stop with suitcases full of clean clothes.
I would absolutely stay here again, if we come back to explore the parts of Yellowstone that we weren't able to cram into our brief visit!
Cozy retreat with easy access to everything!
We had a great time here. The studio was exactly as shown and has a spacious open feel. It made a perfect home-base for adventures into both Yellowstone and Teton National Parks. There are lots of restaurants around for dinner - but the kitchen makes it easy to whip something up from the grocery store. Great place, hosts were lovely, and we'd definitely stay here again!
Best accommodations in WY
I've been to West over 20 times over the years for everything from ski races to fly fishing to hunting trips, and this is easily the nicest place I have ever stayed. It is walking distance to the ski trails or Yellowstone, very close to restaurants, yet just far enough away so that it is quiet. The owners told me it was built under a year ago and it shows, everything is brand new and works perfectly. It is a studio apartment, so it is best suited for singles/one couple, but as studios go, it is about as good as it gets. My only reservation about writing this review is I don't want everyone out there to book it when I want it, as this is definitely now my "go-to" spot in West.
The Grizzly & Wolf Discovery center has live grizzly bears ,wolf packs and raptors for viewing, as well as indoor exhibits, movies and gift shop. The IMAX theater is adjacent and across the street is West Yellowstone's historic district and the Yellowstone Historic Center (open in summer). The West entrance to Yellowstone National park is only blocks away and skiing, snow shoeing, walking, and snowmobiling in the Gallatin National Forest are within walking distance of our cabin. Hebgen Lake, Henry's Lake and historic Quake Lake are a short 15-30 minute drive away. We are located in a fishing mecca with multiple lakes, rivers and streams including the Madison, Gallatin and Firehole Rivers. Ice fishing is prevalent and the annual Hebgen Lake Fishing Derby fun. The Rocky Mountains are within minutes and there are many additional mountain ranges to explore in summer and winter.
