To protect our kids, we have the land planted with non-toxic trees and shrubs. There are plenty of berry fruit.

The Rottal-Inn is one of the steam populated areas in Germany and is littered with typical Rottaler Vierseithöfen; He is sparsely populated and so close to nature and is very rich in game and dominated by agriculture. The landscape is very diverse and consists of a colorful carpet of hills with forests and fields, valleys with streams and meadows, dense coated with a low-traffic roads network, which connects the many Vierseithof scattered in the landscape, usually surrounded by fruit trees together. Always within sight of the Wanderers, the tower of a church or chapel is mostly from the Gothic period with valuable artwork inside. It is a true "Pfaffenwinkel Gothic" in which there is much to discover what the "Gothic Tour" of the district describes in words and pictures. It is a paradise for walkers and cyclists. Those who prefer may without effort is in the long and broad valleys of Rott in the middle of the Inn River in the south and in the north of the Kollbachs. Who is not afraid of the way through smaller slopes, has to pay to the south a magnificent panoramic view of the Alps of the Salzkammergut to the north, he sees the panorama of the mountains of the Bavarian Forest.

And everywhere there are hearty economies with a beer garden next to it.

But there are also famous large churches and Baroque monasteries of known masters. There are castles, colorful market places and museums. There are swimming pools and leisure. There are processions through fields and meadows on the feast of Corpus Christi or the Leonhardiritt on horseback in October; There are harvest festivals with dancing in the typical blue-brown Rottaler costume; there are the women with the precious gold domes; there are gun salutes and Winteraustreibungen in wild masks, Dult and markets on the town and market places; There are traditional festivals in Massing in the spring, summer and fall with "Kinderhutschen" hearty snack, "mackerel" and chicken, "Obazden" and always "a liter of beer," Coffee with fritters and "Auszogne". In the evening, "a silent Stubnmusi". There hunts in late autumn and winter with "buying and blowing off" by the hunting horn, blowing and visit the "route". There are in late autumn in the Eggenfeldener Rottgauhalle the trophy show with the freestyle of the most beautiful deer antlers and "Krickerln" the goats; there are at Martini in each pub roast goose with dumplings and sauerkraut; there is the "Maypole scrambling of Buam": there are shrines all over festooned with colorful votive tablets; there are the Christmas markets in all cities and markets, "Christmettn" Christmas with orchestra, organ sound and song. There are all the things we "plenty of Bavaria" mean by our slogan.

There are excursions for young and old to the glassblower a of the Bavarian Forest National Park with its wolves, too old and famous Bavarian cities - as beautiful as the picture-how Landshut, Straubing, Passau, Burghausen, Altötting or Austria to the Innstädten Braunau, Upper Mountain and Schärding, the magnificent baroque monastery Reichersberg or to Salzburg. Also adventure parks, wave pool, western town are close and just next door to adventure pools with water slides and all the trimmings in parish churches and Eggenfelden.

There are also silent nature. The European reserve "Bird Sanctuary Lower Inn" to achieve in a quarter of an hour from the house by car, is home to most of the migration periods in spring and autumn, the various species of birds from Siberia and northern Europe and throughout the summer breed here over a hundred different rare species. From bird watching tower at Ering from or on walks on foot or bike on the 60-km-long Inndämmen on the Bavarian and Austrian side you can watch them. You can watch thousands of waterfowl that have settled on islands with their almost deafening shrieks very near from the road or track it on the prowl ornate buildings of the beaver in winter. And in the summer you can swim with small children near the mouth of the Salzach in the crystal clear lakes side of the Inn beautifully.

On the Bavarian and Austrian nature trail, which leads to Passau innabwärts and along the Inn and Salzach upstream on Burghausen and Tittmoning to Salzburg, you can ride as far as you want and can be found all food and culture.

Ulaub im Rottal

  • 5 of 5

  • 5 of 5

  • 5 of 5

D. und I. Ha.

The house is located in Rottal, 3 km west of parishes, near the village of Postmünster overlooking the 200 m distant Rottauensee. Around the lake there is a spacious recreation area with golf, 18-hole (25% discount on green fees for our guests), mini golf, bowling, Nordic walking, gliding, game reserve and 200 km of marked trails, sunbathing, surfing, sailing and rowing opportunities and of course fishing in the richly stocked with fish lake. The lake is subject to continuous monitoring of water quality and aquatic capable in principle. However, it is through the inlets of streams in the interspersed with fields landscape somewhat cloudy and so on bathers not so popular. For dogs so that is not an issue and you can let your dog swim safely. For 'untroubled' bathing our guests there in just 2 km from the heated from May to October, spacious outdoor pool in the western outskirts of parishes, which you can easily reach their own, along the Rott leading foot and cycle paths.

In winter there is snow groomed trails and when the lake is frozen, ice skating and curling.

One of the most spacious baths in Europe Bad Birnbach, part of the Rottaler spa triangle, can be reached in 10 minutes by car. There are many different swimming pools in the indoor and outdoor, make at temperatures up to 38 ° C bathing in the winter clanking a special fun. Baden 'picture book' is because even a Birnbacher slogan and this of course there are all the health, fitness and beauty treatments that one can expect from such a resort that has, however, while still retained its rural Rottaler charm and character. Wem`s not enough, moves only 6 km to the nearest beach resort Bad Griesbach's golf courses or mundane Bad Fussing and also makes a jump over the Inn to the picturesque Innstädtchen upper mountain, itself with the 'most beautiful square in Austria' praises to which, in fact, especially good food is located.

The Rottal is the south-eastern part of Bavaria; a graceful and sparsely populated hill country that terminates in the south to the Inn Valley down and forms the border with Austria. Salzburg is then only 50 km. From the hills above the Inn Valley offers a magnificent panoramic views of the European reserve bird sanctuary bottom Inn and the Alps. Look back to the north you can see the panorama of blue-green mountains of the Bavarian Forest.

Postmuenster lies in the valley of the Rott, the so-called here. Rottauensee flows through and is a small picturesque village with handsome Gothic church and a magnificent rococo palace on the height. There are two good Bavarian economies with moderate prices, excellent bakery that offers delicious pastries for breakfast and a mom-and-pop store

After parishes lead on both sides of Rott your own hiking and biking trails and large supermarket is only a few minutes by car (3 km without traffic lights). Parishes itself is the seat of the district Rottal-Inn and a city with a particularly versatile shopping. There is the large industrial area in a few minutes by car distance from the home and has large and interesting shopping markets. A colorful range of other shops, cozy cafes, Bavarian pubs and restaurants, there are also the old historic town square with its colored townhouses or around the old city wall with its avenue of chestnut trees, from which one has romantic insight into the streets of the medieval market town. Visible from parishes is crowned by its famous Baroque 'Gartlbergkirche', the symbol of the Rott Valley. In parishes is also the oldest racetrack in Bavaria and here is the 'Pentecostal race' today is a race in the best young horses in Germany instead.

From Postmuenster it is also only 10 km to the other major city in the Rottals, Eggenfelden, with it's beautiful historic town square, dominated by the imposing Gothic church, in a truly masterful altar with the coronation of Mary by God the Father and other artworks are to be admired. Who evening fancy a little social culture, is in the Theater an der Rott in Eggenfelden that offers both theater and operetta in a surprisingly high level.
