SUMMARY
This stylish 18th-century New Mexican home has been lovingly updated with a high-end contemporary aesthetic that still pays tribute to Santa Fe’s unique and historic style. No detail was left out from the tasteful selection of modern furniture to the luxury linens and towels. You will find it hard to leave this beautiful home, but Santa Fe’s historic plaza is only a block away! This home also offers easy access to the Railyard.

LIVING AREA
The living is centered around the 72” smart TV, which is connected to a Sonos sound system that is wired throughout the house. A kiva fireplace is off to the right for additional ambiance.

The sofa converts to a queen bed for additional guests.

KITCHEN AND DINING
The kitchen is fully equipped, and features authentic Mexican tile countertops. The dining table seats six and is flanked by another Kiva fireplace.

BED AND BATH
The primary bedroom features a king bed and an en-suite bath. The guest bedroom features a queen bed, with a bathroom just outside of the door that is shared with the living room.

PLEASE NOTE:
- This home is cooled by a swamp cooler rather than traditional AC. Swamp coolers are standard and effective in New Mexico's dry climate.
- The fireplace is available from October 15th - April 15th
- The outside of this home is monitored by security cameras
- This home is NOT pet-friendly. Our cleaning staff reports pet hair to us after each check out. Any unauthorized pets will result in a $1,000 fee.

Perfect

We were so happy with this property. The location is easy walking distance to a multitude of shops, restaurants, and museums. The kitchen was well stocked. The towels were plentiful and unlike many of our stays they were not musty and gross. The hosts were easy to communicate with and have created a beautiful space. The best part is they did not ask for any 'chores' to be done before departure. I have always been annoyed to pay a cleaning fee then be asked to start the clean up that have been charged for someone else to do. I hope they stay fully booked for a long time to come!

HIGHLY recommend!

Our family of 5 adults was in town for a wedding at the Cathedral down the way (walking distance). This house was very clean, well stocked with high quality amenities and incredibly charming. Bedding was high quality, white towels were white and there was plenty of glassware for wine and cocktails. Communication was clear, concise and easy to follow for check-in and check-out. No duties were required for check out which I appreciated. You just lock up and leave (we still cleaned up after ourselves of course but didn’t have to deal with towels or linens). We were also welcomed with a personalized message welcoming our party (nice touch!) They also left us chips, Santa Fe salsa and “Two Casitas” bottled water (we were starving when we arrived later than expected). Coffee was supplied for the coffee pot along with cream/sugar. They also had local toiletries that smelled amazing! Peppermint, sage something… We had an INCREDIBLE time making memories in this cozy home. HIGHLY recommend! And thank you again for all of the attention to detail. Y’all got it dialed in!

wonderful experience

we loved our stay at el ocaso so much that our kids listed it as one of the top 5 memories of the trip. it was so clean, well appointed and beautiful. the skylights just bathed the place in light. we were so comfortable. also, i was obsessed with the bed linens! can't recommend it highly enought!

Very well-stocked home. Kitchen probably better-appointed than mine at home! Convenient to many Santa Fe attractions. Home was spotless and comfortable for three adults. Plenty of linens. Off street parking was easily accessed with our F150.

Delightful gem close to everything!

We loved staying in this beautiful home. It's in walking distance to just about everything, and it's the perfect place to come home to after a day of museums and shopping. The whole place was spotless, nicely appointed, and beautifully decorated. We highly recommend it!

The fact that there is parking for only one car can be a big problem and should be mentioned in the discription. The place is really lovely, very convenient, and very comfortable.
