Great Location, great room!

This place was excellent! Reasonable price, fantastic location, easy to park the car (valet included), easy to access the room. Very nice amenities in the room and at the hotel. Highly recommend!

It’s dated but the views are great!

The place was old and dated, it needs a revamp such as new bedding and kitchen stuff. The views were great ans the host was awesome.

Sunny isle beach

This was our second visit to the property. First time through VRBO. Location is excellent. The property manager was available all the time whenever we need. The beach chair and access to all the amenities at Hilton is nice. The property is dated and it will be nice if the owner spends some money on improvments which will certainly help .

Nice location - Needs updating

Pros: The view from the balcony is outstanding Great location, everything is walkable New appliances in kitchen Cons: Needs to be updated. Walls need to be painted, black on ceiling, cardboard in air vent for some reason. Toilet was running nonstop. I would compare this to a 3 star hotel room (Days Inn). I was disappointed because I’m used to staying at 4-5 star resorts.

The smell is unsettling, smells old, dirty, stuffy. Mold in the Shower and cockroaches coming out of the sink. Walls are dirty, furniture is old. Large space but did not feel in a clean and comfortable place.

The owner gave us an update at 3:30 (check in was at 3) that the cleaning lady would be done in about an hour. We dropped our stuff off at the room at 4 and she was still there. Went down to the ocean, came back at 5:30 and she was still there. Contacted the owner and he called her right away and she left shortly after that, however, there was laundry that was left incomplete and dirt still under the coffee table. The place overall was not very well cleaned and dishwasher seemed to be leaking water everywhere. The owner did a great job at being courteous and responding quickly to messages and the condo had a great view and a great beach. However with the dishwasher leaking, cleaning lady being extra late, very little supply of kitchen utincils, broken beach chair, disposal not working, and appears to have mold in the shower, we were slightly dissatisfied.

Frequent VRBO user. Will not be back sadly

Prior comments stated Valet was included (there is no other way to park) Valet was NOT included and was an extra one hundred and twenty dollars for our 4 nights. Hotel tried to charge me an additional 4 night stay which was double what I had already paid when I checked in, stating I hadn’t paid when the stay had already been taken from my bank account. Property manager David had to drive to location and fix for us. He was prompt and answered quickly. Resort is in need of major updates and repair. On-site Restaurant is closed I believe due to Covid but did not say this when booking. Pool bar is open but charges gratuity without telling its patrons on top of outrageous prices. Our room had a broken slider door to balcony, and was not clean. Broken glass under couch and master bedroom. Neither room phones work at all. I had to call the front desk from my cellphone for toilet paper. Resort staff is not friendly whatsoever. Only the valet staff were courteous. Only two beach chairs are included even when I asked multiple times if we had beach chairs for three people before arriving. While property manager David was prompt dealing with the issues at check-in and the beach was very nice, it was my worst VRBO experience to date. Would not stay at this resort again. It was my mom’s Christmas gift so it was very disappointing. I’ve never left a poor VRBO review and feel bad doing so but wanted others to be aware.

Excellent experience

We had a very good experience with David, he contacted us before arriving, provided all the information for checking in. . He answered his phone when I called him, he responded for texting in few minutes. I would definitely recommend him.

Everything was great. Pictures of the condo are accurate. Amazing view from the balcony. Easy beach access. This property had everything we (and our teens) needed to enjoy ourselves.

Paradise escape

Big one-bedroom with everything we needed. Building sits directly on gorgeous beach. Apartment has huge bathroom with jacuzzi tub, plenty of hot water, great pressure in the shower. Great restaurants neaby and the amazing Oletta state Park for kayaking and trail biking. David was super helpful.

Amazing location

We had a great time! Property is located in a great location -right on the beach and a close walk to lots of restaurants and a grocery store. David is a great host! We couldn’t figure out how to use TV in the living room and David responded to our phone call right away and even showed up to fix it do it personally. Unit was clean and very comfortable for a family with two little kids. We’re definitely coming back to this place again!

Sunny Isles high rise on beach

A roomy, comfortable 1-bedroom with a balcony and beautiful views overlooking the ocean; the unit is a privately owned condo in the Hilton Doubletree on Collins Ave. 23rd floor, very quiet with a nice outdoor pool, beach access, food options and attractive lounge areas on the main level. Most enjoyable!
