The house has a large oceanfront grass yard and is completely fenced, so that kids can play. The garage has a full-sized ping pong table and foosball table for you to enjoy. This spacious two story house offers spectacular ocean vistas and stunning mountain views from just about every window. Cool trade winds and sounds of the surf will lull you to sleep each night. The main floor of the house has a pool room, full kitchen, laundry room, large oceanfront dining room that opens up to the outside eating area, living room with high ceilings, three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The second story is a very spacious room opening up onto a large covered outdoor lanai overlooking the ocean.

Beachfront family vacation paradise
Pictures don't do this place justice! You have to see it for yourself and experience the lifestyle. We swam with sea turtles right in front of the house! We saw whales breaching in the distance. Every sunrise and sunset could be seen right from the beachfront yard. The house was very clean and well maintained. The owners were amazing, responsive and and all around pleasure to deal with. The next door neighbour made us feel like we had lived next to him for 10 years! We had 2 young children with us (1.5 and 5 yrs) , They spent all day every day on the beach or asking to go to the beach. Even when the surf was higher there was a safe swimming spot for them a few houses down. Its in a very quiet rural area with great shopping and small community about 10 minutes away. The roads were perfect for a morning walk that would loop us around a neighbourhood where we were entertained by chickens, birds, lizards and geckos. If I could give this place an 8 out of 5 stars I would!
My husband and I picked this beach house for its excellent location, space to roam and amenities. We didn’t go wrong. It was more than what we had anticipated and our family of 5 enjoyed every minute our our week stay. Our kids, ages 2, 5 and 7 loved the garage with all the toys/games, we enjoyed the 2nd floor balcony in the evenings where you can listen to the crashing waves and we all enjoyed the private beach. Simply amazing! We’d love to come back again sometime. Thank you so much for sharing your place with us! Mahalo!!
Beautifully maintained comfortable vacation home!
We were a group of 7 people, age range from 19 to 80. This is our 3rd visit at a home on the North Shore. Everything about the home was wonderful by far the best yet! Everything is just as shown on the website. My Mom in law loved the beach view bench..we all did, having coffee in the morning watching the surfers, sky divers, and whale watching. Breakfast on the Lanai was a favorite. Sitting on the balcony watching the beautiful colors from the sunset sky. Falling asleep to the ocean, heavenly. The pool table was an awesome extra that was very well used by all of us in the evenings. The ping pong table was used by the younger crew. Lots of beach shoes, snorkel equipment and boogie boards! The beds were very comfortable, having the washer and dryer was fantastic! The kitchen happened to have certain spices(bonus), and was very clean.
My son proposed to his beautiful girlfriend in Haleiwa at sunset. The home is away from the hustle and bustle of the North Shore so you can enjoy the beauty of the ocean without the people. I could go on and on. Tim and Maggie were marvelous and any questions were responded to immediately. Very helpful and very friendly. Mahalo and Aloha till next time!!
(One thought, bring binoculars for the whales! They are very impressive!!!) Lvandenakker and family
This home was better than expected-the pictures don’t do it justice. We stayed for 10 days and everyone of us could’ve stayed longer. There was plenty of room for our three grandchildren , ages 8,7,and 4 Year’s,four adult children and ourselves. The beach is beautiful and when the weather was a little off the foosball table, the ping-pong table, the pool table Kept everyone busy. There was plenty of room in the yard to play soccer. When the weather was sunny and you wanted to find shade, the palm trees or the outside patio were perfect. As it was completely fenced we were relaxed with the kids even though the beach/ ocean was just outside the gate. We enjoyed going into town: Haleiwa is a great little town without all the tourist traps-Just watch out where you park as the ‘no parking’ signage is lacking and they are quick to tow your car away,
Amazing as always!
We've stayed here many times and it gets better every year. The property itself is gorgeous, steps from a beautiful peaceful beach and the fact there is so much grass to run around on is awesome. They give you every beach toy you could possibly want- snorkel stuff, chairs, toys, tubes, etc. The owners are so kind and so easy to work with. The location is perfect, too. The neighborhood is quiet but a great street to go for walks and conveniently located about 10 minutes from "town." We have taken a bunch of different friends there every year and each person marvels at the awesomeness of this house. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend staying here, its worth every penny. Thanks Tim and Maggie!! See you again next year, and the year after that, and the year after that... :)
A wonderful oceanfront home on Maui's North Shore
We had a perfect stay in this lovely oceanfront home. I own and manage vacation rental homes in North Lake Tahoe and West Maui but even after about 30 visits to Maui this was my first stay on Oahu. We really enjoyed this neighborhood. I passed a number of peaceful hours on the bench overlooking the breaking waves. I enjoyed watching the surfers. I also saw skydivers and powered hang gliders. One morning at sunrise my wife and I took a hike to the West and saw two turtles playing in the surf right by the sand.
Our hosts left plenty of boogie boards, snorkeling gear, balls, and other toys and we also enjoyed playing pool. We prepared most of our dinners here using the Weber propane BBQ. We used the provided cooler to pack a lunch each day for outings. We especially enjoyed playing in the shore break and jumping off the rock at Waimea Bay which is very close. We also rented Stand Up Paddleboards and paddled up the creek from the charming seaside town of Haleiwa. We got up early one morning to drive to Pearl Harbor just after 7 to pay our respects at the memorial there.
The house is very nice and well stocked. Our three boys shared the upstairs room and my daughter and mother in law each had their own room. My wife and I had the master bedroom and the bed is situation maybe 50 feet from the ocean. I love falling asleep to the sound of the surf.
This was a wonderful stay at a great oceanfront home in a very nice and peaceful part of Oahu.
Mokuleia is a wonderful place to vacation. There are lots of great activities near by. Just down the road (2 miles) is Dillingham airport (It is a very small airport that offers glider plane and ultralight rides, and sky diving). Right across the street is the polo field, and you can watch a game on Sundays or go horseback riding. Just three to four miles down the road from our house is the end of the road, Kaena Point. There you can go on about a 3 mile hike or mountain bike to the point and lighthouse. It is a preservation area and it's very beautiful. Haleiwa town is about 7 minutes away and there are two grocery stores there as well as lots of shops and restaurants. There is also a Costco on your way from the airport to the North Shore just right off the freeway if you prefer that. Just past Haleiwa town there are miles and miles of beaches. Most of the famous surfing beaches are up that way, and you can watch the contests in the winter months. Other Activities: rock climbing, kite surfing, polo, skydiving
