Traditional bright, spacious accommodation, 10 mins to beautiful sandy beach

El Alamo is an old traditional building as described in the property profile so it shouldn't be a surprise for guests when they arrive. Being an older building it does have more spacious rooms compared to modern buildings which is a benefit. Unfortunately, some plumbing jobs were being done by the maintenance people in the building which coincided with guests staying on a longer let and this caused some problems which took a few days to rectify. It would have been helpful if the guests had reported the plumbing problem as soon as it happened. This delay did not help to rectify the problem as quickly as we would like. We have not encountered any plumbing problem for many years so this would have been the unfortunate timing. In addition the washing machine problem was not reported until the last day and this again is possibly the cause of work that is being done in building, therefore out of our immediate control. We have every confidence that the plumbing will certainly be fixed before our visit in a few weeks. We ask our guests to inform us of any little problem immediately as we always wish our guests to have a trouble free time when they stay with us. If they choose to live with the problem for a few days before reporting it, that is something we cannot control. With regard to the view, unfortunately that is something we cannot change. Once upon a time we had a perfect view straight onto the beach but since Mercadona decided to set up next door we have not advertised that we have a view. This is reflected in the price of the rental. With regard to the balcony and the insulation, we cannot control the weather. We have heating and air con in both bedrooms and a gas fire for the living room which is portable so we provide adequate heating and cooling for our guests and do not charge any extra for this. This apartment is designed mainly for Summer lets but we used to have Winter lets from Oct to March and we have never been asked for an oven. With regard to the vacuum cleaner, we do not have any carpets or rugs and have always found a broom and mop more than adequate. All the appliances are mentioned in the itinerary when making a booking so if guests have any special requests we would always try our best to accommodate their wishes. On this occasion there was no special request. Despite the few glitches that were out of our control, I hope you had a pleasant stay and I hope my feedback has been helpful.

Vanessa and family were great guests to have at El Alamo. They took care of the apartment and were very happy with the size of the rooms and apartment in general and enjoyed all the facilities we provided. They were particularly impressed with the nearby supermarkets and the 5 minute walk to the beautiful sandy beach and relaxing promenade. We would be delighted to welcome Vanessa again any time.
