Vilu Miran is a luxury villa, built from Istrian stone, reclaimed oak beams and terracotta tiles. Includes a private heated pool (8 x 4m) with Roman steps for easy entry and exit, waterfall featured wall and clear plastic safety cover, operated electronically. Peaceful location at the edge of the hamlet of Mofardini, with panoramic views to the sea and fibre broadband. Landscaped gardens with tile-capped stone walls all round and wrought iron gates to parking for 2 cars. Tastefully furnished to the highest standard, including an American side by side fridge/freezer with a chilled water and ice dispenser and canvas pictures of local flora and fauna. Air conditioning in each of the 3 bedrooms. Double glazed windows and doors with traditional, external, blackout wooden shutters with outside access from each bedroom, central heating throughout and a traditional Istrian open fireplace giving our villa a welcoming rustic charm.

Amazin area and property

Quiet and peaceful so close to many amazin places to visit. Lovley restaurant in next village would definitely recommend a stay at this beautiful villa.

We had a fabulous 10 days staying at Vilu Miran. It is a beautiful, well equipped spacious villa situated in the heart of Istria. The pool was absolutely brilliant during some very hot weather! The house is located in a very quiet and peaceful hamlet but the coast, Pula, Rovinj and other attractions are all within an easy 25-35 min drive. We particularly enjoyed exploring the beautiful Lim Canal and discovery local villages and the delicious local olive oil! I would definitely recommend staying here and exploring this beautiful part of Croatia.

Amazing house

Hosts were amazing and so quick to respond to any questions we had. House was exactly as described. Great location, close to Rovinj, Porec and Pula. There was 6 of staying? 5 adults and a 15 year old. Loved the pool area for morning coffee and swim before exploring different cities, as well as sun bathing during some days. Local store has all basic groceries and fruits. Highly recommending Tomassoz konoba close to the house. Amazing food and service at very good prices. We would definitely recommend!

Die Villa liegt in einem kleinen Ort, etwas ab vom Trubel und doch zentral. Die Orte Rovinj, Vrsar oder auch Porec sind schnell zu erreichen. Nach anfänglichen Kommunikationsschwietigkeiten lief dann aber wirklich alles recht reibungslos. Der Außenbereich der Villa ist wirklich sehr schön. Der Pool ist toll, wird regelmäßig gereinigt und bietet vor allem mit Kindern eine willkommene Abwechslung. Einzig die Auflagen für die Liegen könnten eine Reinigung vertragen. Auch im Inneren der Villa wird man nicht enttäuscht. Alles zweckmäßig eingerichtet mit einer sehr guten Ausstattung. In den Ecken könnte es etwas sauberer sein, aber das wäre Jammern auf hohem Niveau Wir können die kleine Villa auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und bedanken uns, dass wir hier unseren Urlaub verbringen durften.

Ein toller Urlaub!

Die Villa ist sehr ruhig gelegen und man ist trotzdem schnell in den umliegenden Orten wie Porec oder Rovinj. Zu Fuß ist ein toller Kletterpark erreichbar, der vor allem bei den Kindern Zuspruch fand. Wir haben die sonnigen Tage am Pool verbracht und waren auch ein paar Mal am Meer. Alles in allem war es ein schöner und erholsamer Urlaub.

Bewertung Unterkunft

Leider stimmt das Bild in der Anzeige nicht. Die Palmen waren nicht mehr vorhanden. Man sieht nur noch die offenen Löcher. Unfallgefahr für kleine Kinder. Leider gab es noch etliche Mängel in der Unterkunft. Es erfolgte keine Übergabe seitens der Agentur bzw. Besitzer. WLAN gab es erst auf Anfrage. Bei unserer Ankunft war das Haus trotz gegenteiliger Aussage nicht gereinigt. Überall lang Staub. Die Schränke waren innen dreckig. Die Gläser hatten teilweise Glaskorrosion und das Geschirr war auch nicht sauber, was nicht sehr appetitlich war. Das Kinderbett stank muffig und konnte nicht genutzt werden. Wir mussten ein neues kaufen. Der Kinderstuhl war schimmelig, der wurde nach einer Beschwerde ersetzt. Etliche Lampen im Innen und Außenbereich waren defekt. Die Fenster ließen sich nicht richtig öffnen, da die Verriegelung verrostet war. Der Pool war bei unserer Ankunft defekt. Nach Reklamation wurde er gereinigt und die Abdeckung repariert. 6 Liegen waren verrostet, es gab keine Sitzauflagen. Einen Sonnenschirm gab es nicht. In der Einfahrt war ein großes Loch, welches wir zum Glück rechtzeitig gesehen haben. Die Mauer oberhalb des Wasserfalls war ebenfalls kaputt. Das sollte eigentlich am nächsten Tag repariert werden, leider kam keiner. Der Duschschlauch im unteren Bad war auch defekt. Das haben wir ebenfalls gemeldet, auf die Reparatur haben wir vergeblich gewartet. Der Pool war nicht beheizt. Man hat uns auch nicht gezeigt, wie man das hätte einschalten können. Wir haben von den Mängeln Bilder gemacht, leider kann man die nicht einfügen. Man spürt deutlich, dass es hier an der notwendigen Pflege fehlt. Das haben wir bei dem Preis anders erwartet. Wenn die Mängel alle behoben werden und das Objekt mal eine gründliche Reinigung und Pflege erfährt, ist es sehr schön. Wir haben das Beste daraus gemacht und uns nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten gut erholt.

We are very sorry to hear of your experience and have contacted you separately to ask you to send us your photographs so that we can raise this with our agent as it is clearly not acceptable. We have great pride in our villa and have always sought to keep it maintained and presented to the highest standards. In particular, we are horrified that the villa was not thoroughly cleaned and checked – we pay for a minimum of 8 hours cleaning per week and provide the cleaners with replacement items for any that are damaged. Unfortunately the palm trees were all killed by a bug that has affected many trees in the area and we took the decision to remove the stumps: we were told that replacements were going to be planted before the start of the season and are disappointed to hear this was not done. We are not aware that there were any problems with the pool. We did have a problem with a fuse tripping on the automatic water treatment system some 6 weeks earlier, but that had been replaced then by the company that maintains our pool. The pool heater is on a thermostat, but should not be needed at the height of the summer if the pool cover is left on. New sun loungers were provided at the beginning of the season, but it seems that the old ones had remained there as well. They are all textile and so would not have cushions. The code for the wifi was emailed to you, along with other guidance, just over a week before your stay, but was provided to you again immediately on request.

Als erstes möchte ich die schnelle und einfache Kommunikation hervorheben. Wir haben stets und schnell unsere Fragen beantwortet bekommen. In dem Ferienhaus ist alles vorhanden was macht braucht. Komfort und Ruhe

Die schöne Villa liegt ruhig in der Nähe von Porec. Es ist viel Platz vorhanden. Der Kontakt zum Eigentümer ist vorbildlich. Man hat einen wunderbaren Blick auf´s Meer und kann im beheizten und beleuchteten Pool die schönsten Sonnenuntergänge genießen.

Super zum entspannen abseits des Urlaubertrubels

Die Villa liegt etwa 20 Autominuten entfernt von allen wichtigen Standorten (Meer, Poreč, oder Rovinj) und ist in ihrer Abgeschiedenheit (am Rande eines Dorfes) perfekt um auch in der Hauptsaison Ruhe zu genießen. Es ist alles da, was man brauch und mit der Aufteilung des Hauses können wunderbar 2 Familien zusammen Urlaub machen. Der Pool lässt sich für Kleinkinder schließen und wirkte sehr sauber. Der Kontakt mit Simon und Hanh war perfekt, da selbst auf Mails immer sofort Antwort kam und so auch Kleinigkeiten, wie ein undichter Duschkopf innerhalb kürzerster Zeit repariert wurden. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen! Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen und würden immer wieder buchen.

Wonderful Villa

We had a wonderful holiday renting Vilu-Miran in August. The villa is well located in a very quiet hamlet and just 20-30 mins from Porec, Rovinj, Vrsar and Pula, as well as two excellent water parks. We loved being able to visit these beautiful towns and then come back and chill by the pool. The villa has lots of space (ideal for an extended family) and is very well furnished with all the necessary equipment to make staying there a breeze. It was also spotlessly clean and the air con worked well (particularly important in August). The outside seating and BBQ areas were also lovely and it was a perfect spot for lunch in the shade before getting back to sunbathing or jumping in the pool. The owners were very easy to deal with and quick to answer any questions we had. We found this area of Croatia absolutely perfect for our family (with two girls aged 12 and 9) and the children loved the water parks and beaches, with a multitude of water sports on offer, and we all enjoyed eating dinner in the picturesque old towns. The Adriatic Sea is also great for swimming in and incredibly clear. We also took a very enjoyable (and easy) day trip to Venice on the catamaran from Porec. There’s just so much to do here. In summary, a great villa in a lovely location, responsive owners and a perfect holiday destination.

Clean and comfortable villa in peaceful location

The villa was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The pool and outside areas were great and where we spent most of our time. The peaceful, rural location was great and fantastic for watching the wildlife. Porec and Rovinj were both fairly close and easy to travel to by car. A very enjoyable holiday, thank you

Wonderful!

We had a fabulous stay at Vilu Miran which was clean, comfortable and great to return to after a day out. The locals were very friendly and would smile and wave as they passed by. We had a scrumptious meal with a selection of meats and cheese, home made bread and loads of Grapa at a restaurant in the neighbouring village. The location was quiet and peaceful. There was a comprehensive list of local attractions and and things to do sent in advance by the owner who replied to all our queries. The agent was great. She prepared a food bag and ordered pizza for our arrival as we got there after the shops had closed. All in all an excellent stay-highly recommend!!

Wonderful holiday in Croatia!

We arrived on Saturday and the receiving of the keys to the villa was unproblematic and fast. The villa itself was very easy to find due to the detailled information we received from the travel agent. The villa itself was amazing. It was very clean and comfortable fitted. The pool was clean and well temperated. We really had a wonderful stay here and are hoping to be back here soon.

The villa is really spacious, clean, well equipped and has a fabulous heated pool. It was one of the most relaxing holidays we have had in a long time and we really settled into a perfect rhythm of Istrian life. It hit 30 degrees C at one point but the air con easily dealt with the heat. The nearby sv Lovrec has some quant bars perfect for a pre dinner drink and a great pizza restaurant that does take out. We used the stone oven/BBQ 5 nights washing it down with the local wine which is readily available in the shops and the sunsets from the balcony were stunning. Thank you for a fab break/property.

I live in England with my wife and three children. My wife and I both work and we try to make it out to our villa at least 2 to 3 times a year. We fell in love with the country when we went on holiday and bought the land to build our lovely villa. We named our villa after the peaceful location and "miran" means peace in Croatian.

We love Istria because of the green rolling countryside, vineyards, crystal clear waters and last but not least, the fabulous Mediterranean food. Vilu Miran is in a little hamlet of about 20 houses and is a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of our busy lives in England. With more airlines, including Ryanair, Easyjet and Jet2 flying to Pula, it is easier than ever to get to our place. The nearby coastal towns are excellent for people watching and eating freshly cooked food. For active guests, there are a plethora of activities available including water parks, cycling, paragliding, horseriding and golf.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Vilu Miran is enclosed within stone walls and is therefore safe for families with young children. It has its own heated swimming pool with safety cover and a barbecue & dining area for fantastic al fresco dining. For the keen golfer, there is an 18 hole championship golf course at the Kempinski Hotel about 45 minutes drive away. In recent years, fabulous water parks have opened and are no more than 20-30 minutes drive away.
