En el tranquilo pueblo de San Lawrenz, Gozo, esta maravillosa villa es única en su estilo. Desde la piscina y 3 de las 4 habitaciones se ve el campo y del mar. La villa ha sido renovada recientemente con altos estándares de calidad para crear un hogar, pero mantiene su encanto tradicional y cuenta con todas las necesidades modernas. Es un verdadero hogar lejos del hogar. Fue amueblada como un hogar y no como una casa de alquiler vacacional. Tiene sala de estar con televisión por cable, lector de DVD y chimenea, comedor para 8 personas y cocina equipada con isla, la cual se puede usar como desayunador. En el área de la piscina hay ducha, aseo separado y barbacoa. También incluye una gran mesa ovalada, 2 sombrillas grandes, sillas y tumbonas, todas hechas de fina madera de teca. La villa está cerca a pie del pueblo artesano Ta'Dbiegi, donde podrá ver artesanos locales trabajando en sus obras, y podrá comprar recuerdos. La propiedad está acreditada por la Autoridad de Turismo de Malta.

We had a really lovely stay in Joe’s property in St Lawrenz. The house is a beautiful as the pictures suggest and is well maintained. Nothing was too much trouble to make sure we were comfortable. The location was great for us too. A couple of restaurants within 5 minutes walk and all of Gozo is easily drivable, but still quiet enough to be relaxing.

Perfect vacation place!

We had wonderful time in this Gozo villa. Very good location, very welcoming owner, gave us useful advices about restaurants, grocery stores, car hire. The property is very nice, great pool, very beautiful decorated rooms- with antiques, rustic style.

The property was amazing, fairly recently renovated and a very comfortable house to stay in. Better than the photos. Old style but with a modern kitchen and comfortable furniture. Lovely pool and comfortable pool area and very nice view over the sea and the sunsets.Location was great, close to the coast and on the West side of Gozo, we could also walk to the village in 5 minutes which had several cafes and restaurants. Hosts were very helpful, met us when we arrived and left.Would very much recommend, and would stay again on our next trip to Gozo.

A wonderful house and great location

This house is the perfect holiday rental. Beautiful pool and house, kitchen excellent fittings and a five minute walk to village shop and restaurant. Joe is a brilliant host, arranging car rental and taxi to airport. Loved everything and hope to return in the future.

Perfect setting

The most perfect setting to take in the Gozo sunsets. A quiet, immaculate and spacious property, kitchen was very well equipped for self-catering, a great restaurant and friendly and well-stocked village shop in the square just down the road. A gem of a place, we wish we could have stayed for longer, but maybe next time...

A very lovely farm house stunning views out over the fields to the sea

This is a lovely farm house well maintained and with good facilities. It is situated on the edge of St. Lawernz but only a 5 minute walk back to the town square. The garden and pool as superb and have the sun all day. We will be coming back.

We spent a very enjoyable week at this villa. Joe is an excellent, welcoming and supportive host. The villa is spacious and well equipped. The pool is just lovely, with plenty of seating and sunset views. A short walk to the centre of San Lawrenz and within easy striking distance from the inland sea, beaches and Victoria.

Fantastic villa with pool in a stunning location

Very comfortable and well-equipped villa with everything you might need, including a travel cot and high chair. We enjoyed the fabulous swimming pool and watched some stunning sunsets over the sea from the patio. The villa is located about a 10 minute drive west of Victoria and within walking distance of beautiful Dwejra on the coast. Joe was very helpful and prompt with responses and able to arrange airport transfers and car hire. Highly recommend staying here and plan to return next time we visit Gozo.

Had the privilege of spending a few days at Tal-Bjar Farmhouse in San Lawrenz, GOZO. Visualize living in a beautiful victorian era castle and you might get an idea. Very well equipped with all your modern amenities and to add an extra wow...15 minute walk to the Azure Window. Loved, loved, loved it! Will definitely be back.

From the moment you arrive, the property is breath-taking. Emerging via the original passageway, into an internal courtyard, clothed in flowers, to the peace and tranquillity of your own personal sanctuary. Then through the cosy sitting room, the well-appointed kitchen (and shady internal dining area) to your own pool with glorious views across to the sea.We chose Tal Bjar not only because of the other previous amazing reviews (all of which are true) but because of the separate dining area adjacent to the pool - a feature lacking in so many other properties but key to our relaxation as a family. Tal Bjar with Joe's unwavering help, provided a fabulous break from the hustle of the modern world; the ambiance of the farmhouse, coupled with the close proximity of (quiet and sleepy) San Lawrenz, with two great restaurants and the amenity of a corner shop – but yet all of the rest of Gozo just a bus or taxi ride away. We would love to return.

My family and I have just spent 1 week at tal bjar. What a beautiful villa, with very spacious rooms there is also lots of space around the pool with plenty of loungers and seating. The view takes your breath away and you never tire of looking out to the Mediterranean Sea. We loved our time at the villa and were very sad to leave. We hope to return sometime soon.

Super villa in a great area of Gozo

Stayed at Tal-Bjar villa / farmhouse with a family of 5 in late October for a week. It's beautifully secluded, full of character and well equipped. This was our 2nd visit as the kids loved the pool so much last year. The house is just down the road from the Blue Hole which has amazing views and great snorkelling. Joe is super organised and arranged for a taxi from the airport plus a hired car to be delivered to the house. 5 stars for the house and 5 stars for the Joe! :-)

À wonderful stay in a beautiful property!

We booked a very special birthday celebration with my sons at this property and couldn’t have been more pleased and indeed very happy. All the facilities one could possibly need and a delightful host who kept us informed every step of the way. Nothing was too much trouble and Joe even left us some welcome goodies so that we didn’t need to dash around getting provisions on arrival. All of the rooms had an en-suite with air conditioning available which was needed as it was lovely and warm during our stay. The pool and garden area is one of the loveliest I’ve seen And everything was spotlessly clean. We are all agreed that we will definitely go back next time we visit. Thank you Joe x

unbelievably beautiful

We really appreciated our stay at Gozo as well as at this really magnificant house with all its beauty and extraordinary location at the edge of little San Lawrenz village. The big terrace with pool and unspoilt view on the sea was our beloved place. Also charme and use of the different rooms (every bedroom with its own bath) being of real pleasure for us. Joe invited us with an open gesture and always had an ear for any questions we have had. All in all a perfect stay in a great surrounding - only the one week stay was far too short...

Best holiday we have had in years!

Beautiful house and beautiful setting with wonderful views. The house is a typical Gozitan village house wonderfully renovated and a joy to stay in. Peaceful location yet within easy reach of a lovely village and the capital Victoria. Joe and his wife were really helpful throughout our stay. When we arrived they showed us the house and told us where to go locally for amenities and good restaurants. The house is well equipped. The teenagers loved the pool and the poolside area with shady palms and beautiful flowers. Gozo is amazing. We managed to see most of the island in a week and were lucky enough to have arrived in a feast day week (15th August). We joined some amazing celebrations in Victoria. We will certainly want to return again :)

The best farmhouse on Gozo , cosy,accurate and lovely

The owner of the house and his wife met me and my children personally at the house and showed us everything around the house. The communication between the owner was very good , he was available for all questions and very helpful . The village where the farmhouse situated is really clean and local people are very friendly and helpful with children and questions . We had even dinner together with the neighbors and a nice chat . We recommend this farmhouse to all families because it’s got so many rooms and every member could have peace and his own space. The view is spectacular and the house has got everything you need for a comfortable staying : dishwasher, washing machine , all kind of dish ... we loved it so much and we will rent it once again !!!!!

Step into the magic of GOZO

As we walked into Tal Bjar, we felt like we had stepped back in time into a world of days gone by - but with great modern amenities & ensuites! Looking out across the pool over farmer's fields to the sea at Dwejra Bay, we could imagine ourselves in a time past. Look up to the juliet balconies and palm trees swaying in the ocean air - at night the star filled sky transported us. Joe and his family were great hosts - always attentive to our needs, from beginning to end! A short walk to a great local grocer, an excellent restaurant and a casual local bar with pizza and burgers all within the courtyard of the San Lawrenz church square. Wander further, and there is always something to see. A convenient 10 minute drive to Victoria, 20 min drive to the ferry to Malta. Local Car hire, Gozo Garage was most helpful. Transfers to and from the airport were seamless. We would highly recommend this vacation rental- we loved our time at Tal Bjar.

A lovely place to stay with friends

We had 6 adults sharing the property and had a wonderful time. Joe was absolutely delightful and made everything so easy for us. He helped organise our transfer from the airport and had left us some treats in the fridge so we didn’t have to go straight to the shop when we arrived. The villa is perfect. 10/10! The area is slightly quieter than we expected, and we were informed by Joe that it’s very much not a location for parties etc and to keep the noise down at night, which was fair. There’s one very nice restaurant in the town, and another place which was good. The nearest supermarket with options is about a 10-15 minute walk away and other than that there is very little around. We found that we spent most of our time in the villa or going to other locations, we didn’t spend time in St Lawrence because it’s so quiet, but transport was easy, and there are some lovely restaurants in Xlendi which was 15 mins drive away. Would absolutely recommend the villa.

Vila is located in calm area, it was relaxing experience. To be noticed, vila has charming character, you feel quite special being in this place. Everything looks in harmony and quite authentic. Biggest advantages for us: pool next to dinning and kitchen - easy to manage kids, well equipped kitchen, spacious bedrooms, cozy inner garden.

Wunderschön liebevoll eingerichtet Haus

Wir waren froh so eine schöne Unterkunft ausgesucht zu haben. Wir wollten Ende Oktober den Tank mit noch etwas Sonne auffüllen. Hierzu war die Unterkunft mit dem großen Pool ideal. Wir haben uns auf Grund dessen viel dort aufgehalten. Vielen Dank Joe für die super Betreuung
