Villa Maria Giulia, bellamente restaurada, es una joya toscana de lujo del siglo XIX, bellamente decorada con antigüedades y frescos y elegantemente amueblada con todas las comodidades modernas. La antigua muralla y la puerta eléctrica le otorgan tranquilidad y aislamiento, incluso si se encuentra a pocos pasos del centro de la ciudad. La casa tiene capacidad para 11 personas con cocina, con sus 5 habitaciones dobles y 1 individual - 5 en el 1er y 1 en la planta baja. Las 4 habitaciones dobles en el primer piso tienen aire acondicionado, mientras que las otras dos tienen ventiladores. Tiene una sala de estar-cocina con acceso a una terraza con barbacoa y un comedor comunicante. Una gran sala de estar / comedor adicional con terraza garantiza momentos relajantes, así como el gran jardín que rodea toda la casa con arbustos perfumados, rosas, palmeras centenarias y la piscina (8m. X 4m. Profundidad 1. 20 - 1. 50m ) En el área de la piscina, una sala de relajación con sofás y tetera y la terraza cercana a la sombra le brindan un gran momento.

Couldn't be better!

Everything was perfect. The Villa was sooo lovely, the pool has a perfect size, the owner very friendly, checkin and checkout easy. We realy hope to stay there next year again!

A gem of a place

Beautiful house and location. We were a family of 8 adults and 4 children and we all loved our stay. It was a short walk do the lovely town and bars and restaurants. The pool was fantastic. All check in and support around the booking was great. We will be back !

Quaint Tuscan Getaway

Beautiful quiet little city in the mountains with great food and shopping within walking distance of the villa; close to Lucca and to other sites! The villa was a well kept spacious reasonably priced home for a week for 5 women- each had our own large bedroom with 3 bathrooms to share. Beautiful deck to enjoy in the sun as well as the rain!

Great House With a Great Location

My husband and I rented this house to celebrate our 35th anniversary with our adult children. We loved the small town location but were also able to take day trips to Portofino, Cinque Terre, and Pisa (thanks to the nearby train station).The house is a great size with a well appointed kitchen, air conditioning, comfy beds and a big pool. We recommend two things: hiring the chef that the host recommends for cooking lessons; and dinner at Cafe Centrale downtown (try the steak).

Great House for relaxing

We really enjoyed out Stay. The Villa is great, has a Nice garden and many cozy spots to relax (Veranda, terrace, Lounge …) Next to the House is a regional street which is busy in the Rush Hours. But on the other Hand that means that the Villa is central an you easily can reach supermarkets, restaurants ans more. We really enjoyed the stay. The Hosts ans our Agent were super friendly and Easy to communicate with. Recommended!!

Fab location. Great house.

Clean and well located. Communication good in advance. Pool a good size. Traditional Italian styled villa. Pizza oven too big and needed a lot of fuel to get to heat and no provided pizza peel (minor thing in the scheme of things) Recommended.

Perfect Property

We loved our stay …. Location was perfect … a homely comfortable authentic Italian house - I would 100% recommend this property. We love being near to the mountains but only 15 mins from the beach … perfect for our family Few issues - at the last minute linen and towels could not be included but eventually they were provided but we had to pay additional costs for laundering them at €10 per person … also tried to charge for electricity when this wasn’t indicated when we booked … This issues were resolved but very stressful at the time.

What a wonderful week we had in Camaiore. The villa fully deseves its five star rating. The children spent a lot of the time in the pool which was an ideal size for them. The bedrooms were spacious and the fans came in very useful. The fact the villa was in the village meant that shopping and eating out was an easy and pleasureably experience. Fabulous

The warm welcome we received from Roberta and Alfredo set the tone for our stay. The villa is a very authentic Italian villa, don’t expect mod-cons, just enjoy the ambience and traditional environment it offers. From the sun-filled days by the pool to the BBQ evenings on the terrace we had a wonderful time, ages ranged from 3-70s, we were just the two of us part of the time and 11 at the fullest, everyone enjoyed themselves immensely. Camaiore was a lovely town, and we visited many of the gorgeous villages locally. Would recommend to anyone.

Another Brilliant Holiday in Camaiore

Having stayed at the villa in 2017 we were keen to return as the grandchildren were now old enough to use the pool without supervison. The Villa was just as we remembered it but now with Air Conditioning in the bedrooms which was a boon in the 30 deg heat during that week Roberta and Alfredo were very welcoming - pleased to see us again and helped with all our requests and our bad Italian. The Villa is great with plenty of space for the 10 of us and the short walk into the town finds restaurants cafes and gelaterias a-plenty. There is a large supermarket just around the corner and with Pisa Lucca just a short drive away this is such a convenient location for a superb holiday in Tuscany. We would highly recommend it

Family holiday

Amazing property with lots of room for a big group. There were nine of us, including two young children, and it worked really well. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space, with large garden and pool area, plus barbecue. The bedrooms are also generous, and there is plenty of room inside, including two dining rooms and several bathrooms. The views are stunning, with the Apuan Alps behind the property. It’s a short walk into Camaiore town centre, with several restaurants, cafes and shops. Supermarket is also within walking distance or a short drive. The booking and check-in process was really easy, and the hosts made us feel very welcome. All our questions were answered quickly, and they were very flexible to our requirements. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful time at Villa Maria Giulia

Our family had the best time ever at our stay in the authentic Italian villa with beautiful surroundings placed centrally in the village of Camaiore. Camaiore is a nice village with several restaurants, coffee shops and bars. It is close to go the the supermarket and the local stores. We chose to cook our dinners and enjoyed the evenings eating and drinking at the porch. With three children aged 1 yr, 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 yrs old we spent some time in the house and at the playgrounds. It is easy to take the bus and train or go by car to visit Lucca, Cinque Terre or the coast. When we arrived to the villa we were warmly welcomed by Roberta and Alfredo and we felt instantly at home. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely Superb

An incredible home with loads of room both inside and out. The pictures here do not do it justice. 5 full size bedrooms and one single. 3 great size bathroom/shower room. A large kitchen with dining room and four big balconies. We used both the outside grill and pizza oven. Plenty of wood bought locally and the oven worked perfectly. The pool area was perfect, decent sized pool and lots of space around it. The fixings in the house were period and we needed to adapt a little with plugs but it only added to the charm. Ac in 5 bedrooms but fans available in the other rooms. A washing machine which helped a great deal. We were 5 minutes walk from the centre of Camaiore and a wide selection of great eating places. Two supermarkets for everyone you need and easy access to main roads. Sonia was excellent as our property manager. I could not recommend highly enough.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Großes Haus und schöner Pool. Alles wie beschrieben und auf den Fotos zu sehen. Straße ist sehr nah am Haus. Das hört man ab und zu mal. Aber Grundstück und Pool sind nicht einsehbar von der Straße. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Vielen Dank!

Séjour en famille pour découvrir la Toscane

Maison très agréable lors des vacances de la Toussaint avec notre famille de 13 membres. Grande maison adaptée pour une grande famille, 3 salles de bains, nombreuses chambres bien aménagées avec des placards, des coussins, des couvertures. beaucoup de rangements. cuisine bien adaptée pour cuisiner, grande table pour manger dedans à 13. four et four micro-onde utiles. lave vaisselle. grand évier pratique. nombreuses terrasses très utiles avec de nombreux transats, chaises logues, bancs... piscine avec de nombreux jeux, bouées, lunettes de piscine, raquettes ... beau jardin clôturé, pratique avec les enfants centre ville accessible à pied très utile, des boulangeries à proximité ainsi que des commerces et supermarchés très bon contact avec les propriétaires on recommande idéalement cette maison, super séjour. on a pu rejoindre les 5 terres a 1h de voiture, pise à 30 min, lucques à 30 min et la mer à moins de 20 min bon emplacement pour visiter

Ferienhaus zum Wohlfühlen

Wir sind mit 8 Personen angereist und haben die Zeit in der wunderschönen toskanischen Villa sehr genossen. Lage der Villa ist gut für Ausflüge geeignet. Der Pool ist wunderbar. Man kann schnell in die Stadt laufen. Ganz unkomplizierte Kommunikation mit den sehr netten Vermietern.

Gut, aber kleine Verbesserungsvorschläge

Das Haus ist sehr schön und groß, ebenso der Garten. Leider ist es auch laut dort durch die Kirche mit ihren Glocken und der Straße. Der Pool ist ausreichend groß, allerdings reichen die Schirme nicht aus zum Schatten spenden. Ein großes Sonnensegel wäre optimal für den Pool und die Liegen. Zum Essen gibt es leider keine Möglichkeit für 10 Personen an eknen Tisch.

Belle villa style toscan

+ La villa est grande et spacieuse. L'intérieure est aménagée avec des meuble du style toscane et tres jolie. La cuisine est bien équipé. Il y a plusieurs terrasses tout autour de la maison.Le jardin est assez grand, bien arboré et la piscine d'une bonne taille. Il y a assez de place pour stationner 3-4 voitures. Lensemble est complètement clos ( important si vous voyagez avec des enfants) Proche du centre de camaiore ou se trouvent des restos et des cafés... - la maison se situe a l'angle dune route assez fréquenté et le bruit est vraiment dérangeant, surtout la nuit dans les deux chambres côté ouest qui donnent directement sur la route. L'entretient general est moyen. A L'intérieure rien a dire mais a l'exterieure: arbres et plantes pas taillée, piscine propre mais le moteur tourne pas assez pour 10 personnes Pas d'ombre!! 3 tout petits pauvre parasols en mauvais etat, mobilier de piscine egalement vieux... Cest dommage. Il ne manque pas grand chose pour rendre cette villa magnifique...

Vakkert hus

Vi hadde ett fantastisk opphold i denne nydelige italienske villaen. Uteområde er stort og fint med ett flott basseng. Camaoire er en sjarmerende liten by med mange koselige butikker og restauranter. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake!
