Je constate que vous auriez apprécié la disponibilité d'informations touristiques. La plupart des visiteurs utilisent Internet pour trouver ce qui les intéresse, car il y a une multitude de choses à faire et de lieux à visiter. Il y a un office de tourisme à Sainte-Mère-Eglise qui met à votre disposition des brochures en plusieurs langues et vous propose des conseils adaptés à vos centres d'intérêt spécifiques. La première chose que vous avez demandée à votre arrivée était une télévision et vous avez visiblement été très déçu. Il est de votre responsabilité de vérifier que le logement dispose des équipements dont vous avez besoin. Néanmoins, vous avez eu un temps magnifique et vous avez semblé vous amuser, ce dont je suis heureux.

découverte- surprise du Cotentin

Un peu de difficulté pour trouver le lieu sans GPS, alors qu'on expliquer facilement que c'est sur la D15, à hauteur du grand GAEC à gauche en venant de Picauville. Une fois sur place nous avons pu visiter avec plaisir un peu tout le Cotentin, en voiture et en vélo : tout près, la région des marais, sur a Côte Est, baie des Veys, les grandes plages, sur la Côte Ouest, Lessay, Portbail, Carteret, , plus au Nord, Barfleur, phare de Gatteville, Cap Lévi, Cap de la Hague ....donc découverte de plein de belles choses

Sejour au calme

Tres bon accueil, malgré notre retard. Au debut, on se dit que c est un peu spartiate, mais finalement on est bien. Il y a tout ce qu il faut en équipement et produits menagers. Pas un bruit la nuit. Le canape lit du salon est tres confortable. Par contre la chambre du haut est vraiment tres basse de plafond, convient à un enfant de 6-12 ans. Ma fille de 8 ans a préféré dormir avec moi en bas (mais c est un pot de colle ;-). La proprietaire est disponible mais pas du tout envahissante, son chien (une sorte de croise cocker) est adorable, tres calin (elle peut le laisser dans sa maison quand on est dans le jardin), il s est tres bien entendu avec notre chienne.

Sommer in der Normandie

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der Normandie sehr genossen. Sharon ist eine sehr aufmerksame und sympatische Gastgeberin und ihr Garten ist sehr schön. Der Standort des Feriendomiziels ist ideal um das ganze Cotentin kennenzulernen. Wir haben fast alle Orte mit dem Fahrrad erreichen können. Es gibt überall kleine Straßen, auf denen uns nur selten Autos begegnet sind. Große Straßen sollte man aber mit dem Fahrrad meiden. Die Abwechslung zwischen Strand, Kultur und historischen Gedenkstätten hat uns gut gefallen.

Deze accommodatie is gelegen in een oase van rust tenmidden van de natuur, en toch niet ver weg van het dorp.Ideale uitvalsbasis om de landingsstranden te ontdekken. Basic acommodatie, maar goed uitgerust. Mevrouw Sharon is een hele leuke dame en altijd beschikbaar voor vragen. We waren heel erg welkom met ons hondje. Die kon trouwens vrij rondlopen in de omheinde tuin samen met haar hond. De 2 Bailey's beleefden een fijne tijd samen in de tuin. Wij hadden het er erg naar onze zin en keren heeeeeel graag terug naar dat kleine paradijsje. Sharon, bedankt om ons zo hartelijk te ontvangen. We voelden ons bij u helemaal thuis en komen graag terug. Dikke knuffel aan Bailey !

Gîte en position reculée près de St mère l'église. Sharon accueille très sympathiquement.

Calme et sérénité

Agréablement accueilli par Sharon, nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans un lieu parfait pour se reposer et idéalement situé pour visiter le Cotentin d’est en ouest. Le logement est propre, bien équipé et frais en été ! Je recommande vivement cet endroit !

Endroit idéal !

Nous avons passé 4 jours reposant et à la fois revigorant dans cette charmante petite maison. Elle est parfaitement bien située au coeur du Cotentin, suffisamment à l'écart au milieu d'une belle nature dans les marais. La vue depuis la pièce principale donne sur le jardin délicieux de Sharon. On accède à tout très facilement, les commerces, la plage de l'Est par les belles routes des marais, le nord majestueux, l'ouest et ses dunes etc. La maison est confortable et l'on s'y sent très bien !! Nous reviendrons car 4 jours c'est court ! Merci Sharon

Très bien !

La location est très bien, joli jardin, propriétaire très sympathique. C'est un petite petite qui convient très bien et que je recommande pour quelques jours, un week-end prolongé.

Hôtesse accueillante et disponible, toujours prête à répondre à nos demandes.Nous avons apprécié le calme et le petit jardin.Nous avons été surpris par la l'aménagement de la location, nous nous interrogeons sur la sécurité, notamment de la chambre à l'étage peu praticable pour des sexagénaires! Nous avons été gênés par la vétusté de certains ustensiles de cuisine! Par ailleurs, la literie est très bien!

Sometimes the guests have to bear responsibility for the choices they make. It clearly states that the upstairs beds are for children (although many adults choose to sleep there). I had assumed the third person was a child or young adult. I would not have recommended this gite for Catherine had I known the third guest was in their sixties. All the cutlery was new last year. Catherine and her guests were very nice people but they did not pay enough attention to detail when they made the booking and I am sorry that this caused dissatisfaction.

It was love at first sight even though the cottage was crumbling and the garden a jumble of weeds and rubble. The garden's starting to take shape as trees and shrubs begin to mature and every year brings a new plan together. I'm hoping for a wildlife pond this year - if only I can decide where to place it!
