Why Pamela chose Bosa
I adore Bosa.... Particularly the Centro Storico , the ambience of the Town is quite unique offering a haven for relaxation, culture, amazing food, Sunshine and beaches. I just had to buy 17 Via Portella, it has so much charm and is situated perfectly in the Old Town just under the Castello Malespina. The views are amazing and you are within walking distance to shops, cafes, Restaurants and bars...Perfect! with Hassle free parking that is Free!
What makes this House unique
Amazing quiet beaches, fantastic for snorkelling/diving, all watersports including kitesurfing available in the area...Outstanding area of natural beauty, fabulous walking and the charm of the historic town of Bosa is unrivalled anywhere in the world....

It is a fascinating hill side property in Bosa old town, nicely updated with nearby free parking.
It is in the nature of the old town that the property has a lot of stairs - four floors and a basement - with one main room on each floor. This is a small inconvenience for being truly at the centre of things, though, with great restaurants, museums churches and the castle just a few steps away down the hill. The property is very well equipped, and the small rooftop balcony off the top floor kitchen overlooking the town was a joy.
Bosa is a great place for touring the west of the island, and is near a big beach at Bosa Marina (about a mile and a half away) and a series of 'secret' sandy bays the the North. One of our party learned scuba diving at Bosa Marina, where the staff were professional and friendly (although most staff had little English).
An amazing place to stay.... loved sitting on the terrace watching the world go by...
Really great place to stay... perfect position in the town... so close to all the restaurants, shops & bars yet so peaceful & relaxing... we enjoyed being able to walk to some fantastic restaurants in particular in the very ambient old town. A well stocked comfortable house with awesome views... would highly recommend....

The house is situated in the Centro Storico of Bosa on one of the pretty cobbled streets which date back over 500 years. The house is beautifully presented and has been fully refurbished. As you climb to the top of the house the view that awaits you is breathtaking as you look across the tearracotta roof tops and onto the sea at Bosa Marina in the distance. It will give you a taste of the unspoilt idyllic location you have arrived in. Look up the River towards the Church of San Pietro, an old Roman Church and the Cathedral is located on the North bank of the Temo river where you can rent canoes and pedaloes to go exploring. Facing you across the valley are the hills, which descends to the sparkling Blue of the Mediterranean. Behind you at the top of the hill you will see the Turreted Casttello Malaspina which stands witness to the long history of this area of Sardinia. It has stood defence to invasions from The Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Aragonese and Catalans. You can visit the Castle where you will enjoy a breathtaking view of Bosa and the valley around. There are magnificent beaches to the North and South within a short drive which will offer sublime peaceful bathing through to the more active pursuits of windsurfing and jetskiing. The water is crystal clear and more reminiscent of the Caribbean than the Med.
Restaurants and bars can be found within a short walk with a fabulous choice on offer from your classic Pizzaria or Trattoria through to fine a la carte dining. If your looking for something a little more up beat you can travel Bosa marina about a mile away where you will many nightclubs and bars which go on into the early hours. A stroll down the Corso following dinner is an Italian tradition followed by an ice cream at one of the many Gelaterias. Enjoy!
