Beautiful property and great location!

Great home with plenty of room to spread out for multiple families. We rented out the whole house (upstairs and downstairs) and it was great for our two families of 2 adults / 2 kids (7 and 5). Families should be aware the only way to get between the first floor and the basement is through outside stairs. This was very clear in the listing, but not always ideal if you have small children. House was well stocked with everything you need to stay, and the communication with the property manager was very quick and always helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay on St. John!

Friends getaway

The house was in a nice quiet area and the description of the property was spot on. It was well equipped for all the things we needed for the beach and pool area. The kitchen was stocked with many of the things we needed for cooking. There were a few issues throughout the stay and the property management responded quickly. We had a great time and love St. John’s.

Beautiful space for multigenerational family

We were a group of 11, ages 17 to 84. We loved the layout for my mother in law: no stairs to get into home from driveway, main floor bedroom, walk in shower, and two railings/lighted steps to pool deck. It was easy for her to navigate! The kitchen was amazingly stocked with cookware, storage, and utensils. Most rental homes are lacking, but it was very well thought out and made it easy for us to cook our meals. In addition, lots of towels (beach and bath), enough beach chairs for everyone, and several coolers. We did have a little trouble with bugs in the evening when outdoors, but just relocated to the screened in porch! The foot wash outside the front door was also very useful upon return from the beach. We appreciated the option for A/C and washer and dryer. The handbook was very useful and communication was excellent. There were a couple of minor things that needed repair from the prior group, and the Antares team was very responsive and accommodating to assist with this. The house was very clean. I had one small issue with my bedding which was rectified very quickly. I lost something under the bed and was nervous to look for it, but under the beds was spotless! Overall, one of the best vacation home rentals we have had. Definitely would consider another stay in the future, if our travel plans take us back to St. John.

Wonderful and accommodating

This was an amazing time! This house accommodated 11 of us ranging from 11-71 years old! The property manager was amazing and had wonderful communication throught my booking and stay! We would definitely recommend this place! Had a pool with a beautiful view, enough room for wveryone and wildlife! We seen deer, friendly frog, bird that always said goodmorning! We miss it! Take me back!

Great stay

We stayed here the week of our daughters wedding. The downstairs suite was perfect for getting ready for the wedding. Home is very spacious and comfortable. Rooms were all lovely! Beds were comfortable. Driveway was super convenient compared to others I’ve stayed in. Nice grill area and pool. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place for vacationing with extended family

We were a three-generation family group of 12 people ranging in age from 5 to 65. The house had all the room we needed and that is difficult to find. The children loved the pool and we all loved being greeted in the morning by the bananaquits and watching the iguanas lounging in the treetops. The view was lovely and we were greeted by rainbows across Fish Bay on several mornings. It was worth the initally unnerving drive on St. John's steep, narrow roads - something we quickly got used to after a few trips to and from Cruz Bay. The management company (Antares) was very responsive and the app they provided was so helpful and easy to use - with information about the villa as well as about St. John. The management company also arranged for two excursions for us and both vendors were very professional and provided perfect outings for our group. We left St. John with some great memories thanks to Casa Del Palmas.

The pictures and video do not do this property justice. We had two families with multiple children and the layout was perfect. Fish bay was a great location - providing a short drive from Cruz Bay to a quiet peaceful retreat. The property management team was a perfect host who was responsive to all questions and concerns.

Casa Del Palmas was a perfect getaway !! House was perfect ,exactly what online photos represented. Spacious and clean upon arrival and Host Tiffany was great! Quiet location and Great views! What a Fun drive on roller coaster roads on Saint John, Jeep handled everything with ease. Hope to return someday to relive some great memories!!

Luxury at its finest

We had an amazing time at this home and HIGHLY recommend. So many details went into this rental. They have every item you would need in the kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms are well designed and furnished, and great pool and beach options too. We rented the top for our family of four, with a 4yo and 2yo, and the king bedroom downstairs for family. Overall, we were able to keep things as they are without concern for our curious kids. We rented kid-specific items from Island Baby, which was delivered (and crib setup!) before arrival. This was a life-saver! I do wish they had a baby gate for the top deck stairs, because Island Baby one wasn't big enough. This would completely close the top portion of house off, to keep kids extra safe. Luckily, our kids weren't able to open the sliders, but it meant we had to keep a very close watch on the deck. We also got provisions stocked before arrival, and HIGHLY recommend getting an arrival dinner. We forgot, and it would have been so nice because after travelling, we didn't have energy to go out. Instead, we had sandwiches. Excellent stock for trips to the beach. Definitely get there by 10a, and earlier if possible. Trunk Bay has food, drinks, and shade rentals also. We brought the chairs, cooler with ice packs, and the beach bags. The only complaints are: - The main living space only has one AC unit and it's not capable of keeping the space cooler than about 76. It was okay for us, but family we had with us doesn't do well in heat. There are no curtains to reduce the heat from windows, but I know that would take away from the view. Individual rooms did great. - The downstairs outdoor areas get very hot and there are no fans in any of the areas. Just know that if you aren't in the pool, it will be very hot even in the shade. We used the oscillating fan outside to get a bit of a reprieve. We'll definitely go back next time we go to St. John. The views were amazing, it was so peaceful and quiet, and we were able to relax the entire time. Hosts were also very helpful setting up private taxis and any excursions.

Comfort and style

We stayed with friends at Casa del Palmas recently and the layout, ample outdoor space and amenities gave everyone the right amount of space to enjoy one another and retreat when needed. The kids played in the pool while we grilled, the view of Fish Bay was spectacular, with terrific sunsets, and we watched iguanas bask in the trees just beyond the deck. When we weren't out adventuring on the island, we felt both at home and away from home enough to relax and truly enjoy. Thank you!

Beautiful House and Excellent Property Management

This house was even better than the listing pictures. There was plenty of space for our group of seven to spread out. We cooked most of our meals in house and found the kitchen to have everything we needed, including lots of spices. The house is located in a very quiet area, but it is a bit of a drive to the good snorkeling beaches. The property management company was the best we have experienced in all of the many VRBO rentals we have stayed at in the past few years. They are very organized and provided an excellent video and phone app explaining everything you need to know about the house. Tiffany was very accommodating with our arrival schedule, waiting for the second half of our group to arrive and meeting us at the market so we could pick up groceries on the way to the house.

Incredible stay

my friends and I had an amazing week staying at Casa del Palmas! Great space, kitchen which was very well equipped to cook meals and grill down by the pool. The house had a great flow and when some people stayed up late on the porch we could barely hear them through the nice thick studying glass doors. Can't beat the location!

Nice but wouldn’t stay here again

We rented the entire house for our family and in-laws. The house was clean. The entire downstairs had a mildew smell. The bedding would always feel damp. We found humidifiers in the downstairs master which helped some in the rooms we used. The location is nice and secluded. We never made it to the north side of the island because the tiny roads were terrifying to drive on. We only left to go to the grocery stores and catch the ferry or boat rental to go to St Thomas. We tried to go to Cruz Bay but parking is limited. I would never stay at this part of the island again.

Paradise in Fish Bay

We loved our stay at casa del palmas! The house was clean, came with so many amenities, and the beds and rooms were spacious and comfy. The house was in a private area but still close to Cruz Bay by Jeep. Tiffany met us at the house when we arrived and was available for text if we needed anything during the week we were there. The outdoor space was roomy and the view was amazing!! Will definitely stay again!

Truly a 5 star property

Casa del Palmas is a beautiful house, and our family of four really enjoyed our time there. The pictures don't do it justice! We had groceries delivered to the house, and there were days we didn't even leave. We swam all day and cooked dinner together, which was a quieter option than going in to Cruz Bay and trying to find a parking place . The house had everything we needed; we were able to relax and spend time together. I would definitely go back to Casa del Palmas.
