Balaia residence is a privately owned condominium build to an excellent standard, with electric gated access . Our 2 bedroom house benefits from 3 terraced areas, outside kitchen area with gas BBQ, Mini fridge and sink, private front garden leading onto beautiful large gardens, swimming pool with a separate children's pool. There is a child's play area situated away from the main pool and gardens. The back terraces and the bedroom terrace get the sun from early morning to mid afternoon. The front terrace gets the sun from mid afternoon until sunset. The house has air-conditioning, electric shutters, a contemporary design throughout. Ideally placed for golf, restaurants, shops and the 5 star spa resort. This is a small relaxing complex with only a few available for holiday lettings. There is also lots of space to park.

One of the best

We have holidayed in this area several times, and this is one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed in. From the moment you walk in, it’s clear that it is a home and not just a holiday rental. Tracey and Ralph obviously treasure it. The pictures absolutely do not do it justice. As well as being beautifully presented, there was everything we needed in terms of cooking equipment, as well as basic household items, such as toilet rolls/cooking oil/salt and pepper/tea and coffee (which not all villas provide). The outside space is outstanding. We made good use of the BBQ area and the little ‘secret garden’ upstairs terrace area which catches the sun in the evenings. The garden looks onto the pool, so was perfect for setting up the sun loungers for us to relax on while we kept an eye on the children. Everything you need is within walking distance - pretty beaches, well-stocked supermarkets and quality restaurants - and Ubers are really cheap for visiting the Old Town or Olhos D’Agua beach (a must-visit!). Tracey, Simon and Marie were all amazing and communication was great. I was really sad to leave, and would definitely recommend.

Cette maison est vraiment super ! Elle est bien mieux en vrai que sur photos, alors que les photos donnent très envie ! Elle est spacieuse et confortable. Environnement très calme, piscine partagée très agréable. Pour nous la voiture était nécessaire pour nous déplacer car nous sommes un peu faignants, mais tout se trouve à 1 km. l'Algarve est une très belle région avec beaucoup d'activités. Nous sommes restés une semaine mais nous serions bien restés plus longtemps !

Un sejour agréable

Un sejour tres agreable bien que la tele soit réglée sur des chaînes anglaises Et qu au moment de la réservation je n avais pas noté que le prix de la location etait en livres et non en euro qui est la monnaie française et portugaise ! Tres belle location et vue la chaleur la piscine a été trdw appréciée surtout oar notre petit fils

Fiquei na propriedade pelo segundo ano consecutivo e mantém a mesma qualidade. O complexo privado, a boa localização, o sossego, o jardim bem cuidado e uma boa piscina fazem desta casa uma excelente opção. De destacar a simpatia da Tracey, da Marie e do Simon. Voltarei de certeza!

Fantastic property

We stayed in August for two weeks and really enjoyed our stay. The property has everything you could need, is very clean and very well presented, it’s in a great location and the grounds are beautifully kept. A short walk from the local beach and a supermarket that stocked pretty much everything we needed. The pool area is great and we mostly had it to ourselves! Albufeira town was only a short drive away. We would definitely recommend.

Férias relaxantes

Excelente condomínio com boa localização, ideal para famílias que pretendem passar umas ferias descansadas. Teria sido agradável termos tido televisão no quarto e na sala canais Portugueses. Recomendo.

Relaxing family holiday in the lovely surroundings

Just returned from our amazing family holiday in the Balaia residence, a fabulous duplex apartment in a private complex with lovely surroundings of a communal pool and well maintained gardens. The apartment was surprisingly larger than we expected which was well equipped for a self catering accommodation including an outdoor BBQ. The apartment was close to some fabulous resuraunts, attractions and supermarkets although we used the minimarket connected to the neighbouring hotel for the daily essentials. We visited Aqualand, Vilamoura Marina and the Albufeira Old Town all around 15/20min journey and had a fantastic time on each occasion. Overall we had a best holiday and already planning our return next year. Many thanks to Tracey, Ralph and Simon for all your help.

Perfect family holiday. Gorgeous grounds, amazing pool and immaculate accommodation

Lovely villa, with everything we needed. Perfect, peaceful location with pretty gardens and amazing pool. Would recommend to friends and family. Lovely beaches close by. 19 month old daughter loved being able to run around in the garden and we enjoyed sitting outside having BBQ's in the evening

Wonderful House!

This was our 4th or 5th time back and yet again it didn't let down.... The house is fab, has everything you need for a great relaxing holiday. The redesign of the new balcony garden is wonderful, we made very good use of it every evening for dinner and watching sun go down. Pool and gardens are alwAys quiet enough that you feel you have it all to yourself. This house is a def must for anybody looking for a great relaxing getaway! Credit also to Simon and Marie (who manage it locally) for their help with anything and everything! We much prefer to have a car when staying here but there are enough shops etc locally to manage if not. Locally beach is fab too. Would never hesitate to return for another great break.

Fantastic

Perfect apartment with all that you need for a relaxing holiday. Well equipped, only 5 - 10 mins away from the restaurants, beach and supermarket. On the nights we didn't eat out, we would make use of the BBQ out on the patio. The beach was clean and not over crowded but plenty of water sports available plus sunbeds and parasols to hire. The pool at the apartment perfect to relax beside or have a gentle swim and quiet., most of the time only us were using it. Would definitely rebook!

Excellent Accommodation

We absolutely loved this Apartment, very spacious, clean and well equipped. The complex was nice and quiet and most days we had the pool to ourselves, it was very relaxing. There was nice bars and restaurants a walk away, but if you wanted something more livelier it was only a taxi journey away into Alberfuria old town where there was lots of restaurants , bars and street entertainers. Owners Tracey & Ralph were very helpful with our booking and Simon & Marie who looked after the apartment were lovely. Would definetly recommend this to family and friends.

Great Property

Stayed (for the second time) at Tracey's place with my wife and 2 year old daughter. Previously my parents came along. Fantastic villa in lovely grounds in a nice quiet area, but in walking distance to shops, beaches etc. We had a car, which was useful, but you could probably manage without. The property is managed by Tracey's brother Simon, who along with Tracey, is ultra helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend for young families or people looking for a quiet getaway.

Excellent location

This was our third stay here, and again, we were not disappointed. It's clean, spacious, in a quiet location yet close enough to the town, supermarkets, some great local restaurants and only short walk from the beach. Most days we had the pool to ourselves. Made thorough use of the built-in barbecue, the local supermarket has excellent fresh meat and fish, not to mention fab award winning local wines all at very reasonable prices - provision of a dishwasher and well equipped kitchen makes self-catering a breeze!

Great place to stay

We had a fantastic stay here, house is clean and with plenty of room- even with 4 children, pool area is gorgeous with the surrounding garden really well kept, and our own private garden area with bbq perfect for evenings in. We all loved it!

fantastic stay

This was our 2nd stay at the house.We still found that it was very relaxing, and the house was great, clean all the mod cons you would need and very safe for children. The location is handy for supermarkets and local restaurants,especially one called the 3 marias about 15 min walk away very good value for money.The garden and pool area are very well kept and safe. Tracey, Simon and marie were great and give us plenty of information.Will definitely make a return visit in the future

This is our home from home and as we spend a lot of time here we like it feel like home. This year 2022 we have had the house decorated throughout, replaced the double bed for a Supersize king bed. The outside kitchen area is all new and we hope you love it as much as we do. The front upstairs terrace we have decorated as an outside garden with Astro turf, plants, décor and a two seater rattan sofa and 2 chairs. We love this secret garden for pre dinner drinks and its a great area for when you return on a night time. The conidium is very quiet and safe with only 22 houses, and a large swimming pool and grounds.
