Belle propriété pleine de charme

Nous avons passé dix jours dans cette belle propriété, idéalement située pour visiter la région. Nos enfants ont particulièrement apprécié le grand jardin ainsi que la piscine chauffée. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueilli par Sonia. Nous recommandons vivement cette belle maison!

vacances au calme dans la nature

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison typique de la région. La piscine est très agréable dans un bel environnement. Le jardin est spacieux. La maison est très bien équipée et très propre. L’accueil est chaleureux et l’hôte est disponible et attentionné.

Wir haben unseren Urlaub Rouffignac sehr genossen, das große Grundstück, den Pool und die tolle Umgebung. Schön das es Fahrräder gab, damit sind wir in den Ort gefahren und haben die Umgebung erkundet. Der Markt am Wochenende mit lokalen Produkten ist sehr zu empfehlen.

La petite maison dans la prairie ...

Le descriptif de l'annonce correspond en tout point à la réalité. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à la Girode. Cadre magnifique, maison fraiche et très bien équipée, jardin au calme à perte de vue ... sans aucun vis à vis , piscine au sel chauffée , les vélos à disposition, table de ping pong , etc etc ... Tout a vraiment contribué au repos et à la détente dont nous avions vraiment besoin après le confinement. Mr et Mme Prijot sont des propriétaires très conciliants et prévenants , pleins de bon conseils et de bonnes adresses. Merci également à Sonja et son mari pour l'acceuil et le suivi sur place pendant le séjour . Nous y retournerons très certainement Je recommande +++++

Ideal for visiting the local region

The property is an old well maintained property with the added advantage of a swimming pool. Location within a 3 minute drive is a Carrefour supermarket. The additional items provided included a good selection of cooking tools, spices and oils to supplement. Although we did not have any children there is a large selection of toys. Good tourist attractions within a 40KM radius

Unloved

The location of the property is lovely and the pool and gardens are fantastic. However, the house itself although reasonably furnished feels unloved . It’s not clean - there are cobwebs everywhere and dust has built up on top of the cupboards in the kitchen and over the light shades etc. Upstairs there was evidence of mice with droppings in one of the rooms and we could hear them in the roof at night. Also, the bed in the main bedroom was clearly broken at one stage and has been taped up underneath. Overall a real shame as with some care this would be a fantastic holiday home.

Charmantes Cottage

Das Haus war praktisch und für unsere Bedürfnisse als Familie mit drei Kindern ideal eingerichtet und entsprach unseren Vorstellungen aus der Anzeige im vollen Umfang. Wir haben uns in den zwei Wochen unter dem schönen Baum in dem großen Garten und mit dem wunderbaren Pool sehr wohl gefühlt.

Charmant 5-persoons huisje, met een uitzonderlijke grote tuin en fijn zwembad. Binnen en buiten goed uitgerust met speelattributen voor kinderen. Prachtige locatie centraal gelegen voor legio uitstapjes in de omgeving.

The Perfect Stay

Thank you so much for a relaxing holiday at your wonderful house. It was a peaceful, beautiful and convenient base for exploring the region and always a joy to return to. Rouffignac on the doorstep was so friendly. Don't miss the Sunday market. Herve and Viviane made everything so easy for us, including great directions and of course the amazing pool!

Un séjour parfait

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument parfait dans cette maison. La maison est très belle, mais aussi décorée avec gout. Tous les ustensiles mis à dispositions sont de qualité tout comme l'entretien général. Le salon est vaste et bien agencé. Internet HD de bonne qualité ainsi que la télé et le lecteur DVD. Prévoir un câble HDMI si vous voulez lire un film de votre ordinateur sur la télé. Les deux chambres sont belles et spacieuses et suffisamment espacées pour le repos de tous (quand on a des enfants qui parlent le matin assez tôt ...) La maison se situe sur un grand terrain, doté d'une jolie structure qui fut très appréciée par les enfants. La piscine (chauffée) est parfaite et offre une belle vue sur la campagne. Présence de jeux et ballons qui furent bien appréciés des enfants. Le village de Rouffignac est bien situé vis a vis des divers lieux touristiques locaux (Montignac, les Eyzies, ...) mais dans un lieu calme et tranquille. Je recommande les promenades dans les forêts juste à coté (en particulier autour de la grotte de Rouffignac). L'accueil est pro et efficace et le cahier d'info bien détaillé à la fois sur le nécessaire à connaitre sur la maison mais aussi sur les informations utiles locales (courses, marchés, n° utiles, tourisme ...) En partant, les enfants ont signifié leur désir de revenir. Les parents partagent cet avis sans réserve.

Wunderschöner Urlaub!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem charmanten Steinhäuschen mit riesigem Garten und herrlichem Pool! Absolute Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit, Erholung pur! Wir hatten viel Spaß im beheizten Pool und auch im Haus fühlten wir uns sehr wohl. Rouffignac in ein sehr nettes Örtchen, in dem es alles gibt, was man braucht und das sich gut mit dem Fahrrad erreichen lässt. Ganz kleine Kritikpunkte sind lediglich die etwas überalterten Liegen am Pool und die fehlenden Polster für die Gartenstühle. Aber nur als kleine Anmerkung, wirklich „beeinträchtigt“ hat uns das nicht! Alles in allem verbrachten wir eine herrliche, gesegnete Zeit hier!

Compact & comfortable in a very quiet and peaceful place.

The house has all the necessary facilities and is comfortably furnished. The pool would be a great attraction in good weather. The grounds are extensive and safe if children were part of the group. The nearby village has all the basic necessities - good bakery and a good little supermarket.

Fabulous Stay

Perfect Relaxation

A characteristic cottage equipped with everything you need, set in beautiful grounds with a lovely swimming pool. Totally private, peaceful and relaxing, we enjoyed eating 'alfresco' from our croissants in the morning through to lunch and evening supper. Rouffignac village had all the shops we needed (especially the boulangerie Blondy's) a small carefour for anything else you need, and a couple of friendly local bars for an late afternoon aperitif. Area is beautiful (our third time in the region) and as well as the main tourist areas, Sarlatt, Domme, Beynac etc.we also enjoyed visits to local surrounding villages from Fanlac, Saint-Leon-sur-Vezere, Plazac. Highly recommend for a couple or family, hope to come again sometime. Peter and Marion

The PLACE to be in Dordogne!

Un "petit" coin de paradis dans une superbe region! Les atouts de cette villa sont tellement nombreux qu'il me faudrait une journee pour les lister tous! Un emplacement ideal pour decouvrir la majorite des plus beaux sites de la region. La proximite des magasins sur place est egalement un plus. En ce qui concerne la villa, que demander de plus? Les exterieurs tres bien entretenus avec une chouette piscine chauffee, une pleine de jeu pour les enfants et une pelouse immense qu'on pourrait s'y perdre, sont sans doute le gros avantage du lieu! L'interieur est parfait avec une salle de bain (douche) et une cuisine equipee tres pratique, une piece de vie avec bibliotheque, tv, cheminee, etc... bref tout ce qu'il faut pour passer d'agreables moments en famille. A l'etage, vous retrouvez 2 chambres spacieuses et un hall. Bref, un bijoux qui j'espere restera disponible de temps en temps pour qu'on puisse y retourner dans le futur;) Merci pour ce superbe sejour... a refaire au plus vite;) Francois Aline et louise!

Great place to stay

Great location, quite but not isolated, with a huge private garden and lovely heated pool. Outside, the garden is enclosed and has play equipment which our children liked almost as much as the pool! The terrace area has the benefit of having a beautiful old tree that provides shade for those who want it, but also has the sun on it all day. The house itself is brilliantly equipped with spacious rooms and modern decor. The location is perfect for exploring the area with easy access to all the major towns and sights. It benefits from being approx. 1 mile from the town giving easy access to the local shops.

Best Holiday

This is a lovely little Cottage in large grounds with a great swimming pool. We had a fabulous stay. The keyholder was very quick and efficient, meeting us when we arrived and giving us all the information we needed. The cottage was clean tidy and ready for us. We spent 2 weeks here and would highly recommend it. The Dordogne is amazing and this Cottage was the perfect base to see it. Many thanks.

Trully Frantastic location

We really enjoyed the cottage with kids. They could play safely in the very large garden closed with high hedges providing full privacy. The pool is amazing : salty water and heated on top. Ver nice. The house is beautiful with the old tiles and stones. The house is very comfortable. Wz will come back definitively. Thanks to owners for the kindness

We receive every year a studiant coming from foreign country (Japan, Equator....) who spends one year with us. We really felt in love of Dordogne. There are so much to see, to visit and we like the local cuisine
