Elegant 'Phivos' villa is set in the most key unspoilt location of Kefalonia. Tastefully furnished throughout. Fantastic panoramic views of mountains and the Ionian Sea. Haven of tranquility and peace. Approached from a quiet lane, the villa is set on spacious grounds with a background of slender, old cypress trees and bordered by woods of holm oaks, cypress and olive trees. Paths and quiet lanes perfect for walking and exploring. Living room, kitchen, dining room, TV family room, all lead out to shaded terraces by the large swimming pool(11x4.5m.). On the 1st floor en-suite master double bedroom, 2 further double bedrooms and a separate bathroom. Panoramic sea views from all bedrooms. Vast sun terrace with large pool and huge cypress trees provide shady retreats. Fully equipped BBQ area, large covered terrace with patio furniture, perfect setting for dining alfresco. Free wireless internet. Licensed and approved by the Greek Tourist Organisation (EOT MHTE 0450458K91000339801).

We had a fantastic time! Phivos Villa is in an amazing location, right near Myrtos beach and Agia Efthymia. The villa itself has a great outdoor terrace with views to the ocean. We look forward to our next stay!

We loved our stay at Phivos Villa. It is beautifully furnished and well equipped with the best view of the mountains and sea. We found it was the perfect position to explore the island and we visited a different beach every day of our stay. There was a wonderful bakery nearby and many lovely restaurants to choose from. We had a brilliant time and hope to return one day.

Beautiful place with all for a fabulous vacation

We had a fantastic vacation with our family at Phivos Villa - the whole vibe of the villa, incredibly complete and spacious, with a large, wonderful pool and various areas to sit, dine, relax, with full privacy and great views and for us the ideal location - nearby (ca 10 minutes drive) many good restaurants, boat rental (at Agia Effimia), or e.g Mythos beach. Highly recommended!

August holiday

We had a fantastic week at Phivos Villa. The villa had everything you could need. Brilliant pool and outside area. Comfy beds and well appointed rooms. Really felt like you were staying in a house that was cared for by the owner. Just a short drive to the town which has some great restaurants. We really enjoyed our week in Kafelonia

Lovely relaxing villa in a great quiet location. Plenty to do in north of the island and a great base to venture out from. Sea front village has a supermarket, bakery, bars and some fantastic tavernas. Pool was warm, furniture comfortable only thing i would change is the loungers or for them to have a bit more padding, but a small thing that certainly wouldnt stop us returning in the future.

Stunning and beautiful Phivos villa in northern Kefalonia where myself and family spent 2 gorgeous weeks. Perfect location to tour the most beautiful parts of the island from. Surrounded by mountains, sea views and a pure natural Mediterranean garden in full bloom, Wow. Large clean pool and outdoor area accompanied with a well appointed, comfortable and homely villa. Lovely friendly and experienced hosts. Though the villa location felt rural it’s only a short 10 minute drive to the unspoilt local harbour village of Agia Efimia where you are blessed with many excellent taverns and bars to choose from. Some of the best snorkelling and swimming beaches are within easy distance though a hire car is a must. We fully recommend this Gem of a villa to others and hope to return one day. Thank you so much Phivos allowing us to share your Villa having made many fond memories of our time spent here. Cheers again, Louise and family x

Villa Phivos is a beautiful villa in an ideal location

The villa has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. There are lots of thoughtful touches and we loved being there. The pool and pool area is lovely with amazing views. The barbecue area is very well kitted out and provides a comfortable shady area to sit. The gardens were beautiful too. The villa feels very remote but you are only 5 mins drive from the lovely little port of Ag Efimia where there are lots of places to eat (all good). It is also in an ideal location for exploring the north of the island which we thought was the prettiest. We hope to return as we loved this place and the people so much.

GREAT PRIVATE LOCATION

WE LOVED THIS HOUSE. HUGE PROPERTY WITH HUGE POOL AND LOTS OF PRIVACY. THE BEST PART OF KEFALONIA - CLOSE TO AGIA EFFIMIA AND MYRTOS BEACH. BEAUTIFULLY SUNRISES 0VER THE BAY FROM THE UPPER TERRACE. THE ONLY NEGATIVE WAS THE VERY SMALL BATHROOMS. THE SHOWERS WERE TINY WHICH MEANT WATER ALL OVER THE FLOOR. BUT LOVED THE DESIGN OF THE REST OF THE HOUSE.

Wonderful villa

Phivos villa is excellent. The indoor and outdoor spaces are so thoughtfully furnished. The pool is enormous! There are so many lovely finishing touches that make this villa such a relaxing place to stay. It is in a great location. Myrtos beach and Antisamos beach are really close and Fiskardo is less than an hour away. There are plenty of tavernas in the nearest village of Agia Efimia which also has a great bakery/ ice cream parlour . Phivos himself is a very good host and will respond to your queries promptly. We thoroughly recommend this villa.

We very much enjoyed our recent stay in the villa. After a long day and night full of travel, it was a welcomed surprise to find the villa fully equipped with just about everything we would need. Welcome basket with food assortments and fresh bread were a nice twist! A car is a must for this location because you do have to drive down a few quiet country roads to get there. It is very well located, approximate to just about everything you would want to see. It is only 5 minutes into Agia Efimia for food, grocery and excursion options. The neighboring town of Divarata is very closeby with a few more restaurant options and grocery. There is a bakery that is walkable from the villa and some nearby tavernas walkable, too. Myrtos is 6 min away and just about everything else 30-45 min drive. We enjoyed a nice pool day at the house. Three bedrooms with A/C in rooms and three bathrooms total. Showers are tiny, but you can overcome this with care. Grounds and views are gorgeous. Owner has excellent communication. Caretaker checked on us day 2 and pool/grounds guy came quietly each morning. What a beautiful place. Highly recommend!

Phivos fabulous

Well we had wonderful 10 days in Phivos villa, when we arrived their was a lovely welcome pack with olive oil, bread, jams, wine, honey so no need to rush straight to the shops. The house is amazing beautiful interior and exterior and absolutely everything you need for a holiday no need to bring much apart from clothes as the villa fully equipped even nice dressing gowns. The pool is so nice to relax and and outside area too you can just chill out by the outdoor kitchen to get shade if warm and hot. Agia effimia has some lovely little restaurant where we ate out a bit and great butchers/supermarket to get stuff for bbq. Fiskardo is a must and myrtos beach has the most beautiful views I have ever seen. I absolutely love kefalonia and want to come back to phivos next year, thanks to phivos too for answering all my questions we had he is super efficient.

FANTASTIC!!

Fabulous villa in a fantastic location. Phivos villa was everything we were hoping for & more. Beautifully decorated & well equipped with a lovely outdoor kitchen bbq area were we spent many evenings. In a quite area with only one other villa just outside the village of Agia Effimia it's well located to be able to explore the island as well as have quiet time relaxing by the pool. Phivos was an extremely helpful host answering any questions we had as well as arranging taxi transfers from when we booked all throughout our stay. We visited in June with 3 older teens & all throughly enjoyed the villa & the island of Kefalonia. If you love being adventurous i would highly recommend hiring quads from Motoround in Argostoli a great way to see the beauty of Kefaloni, a boat from from boulevard boat (jonny) in Agia efimia to explore the coves. Also Antisamos beach for watersports. We would definitely return to the Villa again.

Super villa, great location

We have stayed in many villas over the years, but Villa Phivos is definitely our favourite. It is well located for access to all parts of the island. It has a lovely quiet position set in its own spacious grounds in a valley just five minutes from the pretty village and port of Agia Effimia. Waking up in the morning to open the windows and see the beautiful views from the balconies down to the sea at Agia Effimia is a special way to start the day. The villa itself is extremely well equipped and does not feel at all like a typical holiday rental villa. Phivos has been very thoughtful about all the things visitors might need for their stay. In fact, this the best equipped villa we have stayed in. We loved the large swimming pool and its spacious surrounds with plenty of sunbeds. It has the sun on it from dawn to dusk. After the sun sets there is a very well equipped, comfortably furnished BBQ area where you can relax and enjoy sundowners and food! We could say more, but suffice to say we will be booking again. FANTASTIC

How much did we like the villa .... well we LOVED IT !!!!! We stayed for 10 days at the beginning of September and can honestly say it has been one of the nicest villas we have stayed in. Things that made it so perfect :- The peace and tranquillity The location is amazing Beautifully decorated Spotlessly clean throughout - inside and out Fantastic outside kitchen area Exceptionally stocked Fantastic music system for the inside and out. Pool cleaned every day Phivos the owner was very prompt and helpful in all his emails from the beginning of our enquiry to after the holiday and checking that we had a good time and if there is anything he can improve. The agent came round to introduce herself on our second day and made sure we were happy and that if we had any problems or just questions in general about anything to please ring her, after that we were left in blissful peace. Our only concern was the track up to the villa and if there was going to be any damage to the underside of our hire car, or if the car hire company picked up that we had been driving " off road" neither if these things ended up to be a problem. But if the track could be smoothed out so taxis would come up to the villa so one of us didn't have to drive when going out in the evening that would be amazing. All in all its definatly a 10/10 if the track was improved or a lovely taxi company found that would drive all the way up could be found it would be a 11/10 from us !!!! Definitely want to return next year.

Spectacular Villa

We waited three years to finally get our dream holiday in Kefalonia and it was well worth the wait….both the villa and the island of Kefalonia did not disappoint. The villa has everything….and more, from the special touches such as the welcome hamper with a selection of the basics to get you started when you first arrive to simple things such as washing powder, soft towels and wonderful bed linen just made this villa exceptional. The pool is fabulous and the location is just exquisite…so tranquil and peaceful but a stones throw from Agia Effimia which is a beautiful and friendly Green village. I sound like I’m advertising but we really couldn’t fault this villa, it’s location, service and the wonderful Greek people…when can we go back!!! Thank you!

A charming Experience exceeding expectations

Very hard to fault the Villa, the setting and the local town of Agia Efimia. We had a lovely time mixing between the lovely pool and beaches, eating in and eating out in the local harbour. We will All look back with fond memories.

Great Villa, Great Owner

The Villa was excellent - loads of space inside and out, Lovely pool, location & views. Phivos was very helpful before and during our stay - nothing was too much trouble (even when our car wouldn't start)! Would highly recommend (Could probably do with a few more mugs & glasses in the kitchen but as we were at the end of the season, I assume there had been a few breakages) We will be back !

Off the grid yet 5 minutes away from the beautiful Agia Effimia.

The property is very well thought out. Tastefully decorated. Quality furnishings. In fact we would move in tomorrow just as it is. The place is silent at night and during the day you hear very little. The villa is very private and the pool is a very good size. One word of advice, if you use the oven watch the temperature because it’s incredibly efficient; quality again! I can’t fault the property at all, if you want a peaceful break in a very good quality villa look no further.

Exactly as described

The Villa was exactly as described, fully equipped with everything you need. The villa and its surroundings are beautiful, quiet and peaceful with the occasional tinkle of goats bells in the distance. Phivos answered all our questions promptly and was very helpful.

A most relaxing and comfortable villa with everything you need and more.

We loved the villa. It is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We liked the varied spaces to eat and relax both in and outside the villa. The swimming pool is excellent, large enough for a good swim and to play ball games. We came with our 3 grown up children and the space worked really well for us. The welcoming hamper was much appreciated. We loved the location, quiet and secluded but not far from the tavernas in Agia Effimia. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you Phivos.

Great place to get away to

The villa is well appointed, well designed and very comfortable. It has great indoor and outdoor areas, a good kitchen and covered BBQ area, a variety of different locations to relax in so that if you’re in a group you can retreat for some time alone, It is away from other people but just a few minutes drive from a few villages with bakery, butcher, shops, cafes restaurants, local beauty spots and gorgeous sea swimming, in case you didn’t feel like using the great pool at the Villa. There was a great welcome hamper to ease us into our stay and a welcome visit to make sure we were properly settled and oriented. Pre-arrival communications and help were excellent. Lovely to spend time here, one week was too short!

Wonderful Villa, wonderful location.

This stunning villa is the nicest I have ever stayed in. The owners and all the staff are fantastic. They have thought of everything. I cannot fault it in any way. Perfect for 3 couples or a large family.
