Unit was just as it was advertised. Clean and very comfortable. I would stay there again!
Spacious and comfortable apartment in a great neighborhood.
My family and I loved this apartment and the neighborhood. The apartment is clean and comfortable, with a large living area, kitchen and back patio. There is even a laundry room onsite! What we loved even more was the walkability of the neighborhood, and the array of shops and restaurants close by. It is also very close to Balboa Park, the zoo, and many other San Diego attractions.
2232 Dale is a gem
Everything about this location was awesome, would definitely stay again
Nice neighborhood near Balboa Park
If you like sleek modern amenities and the hustle and bustle of downtown, then this place is NOT for you. If you enjoy staying in a historically old (for California) home in a cute neighborhood then this place IS A GOOD BET. Nice remodel that maintains the OLD CHARM but does not feel run down. They must have a great cleaning crew because the place was IMMACULATE. Those old wood floors can be tough to keep clean but my socks stayed white! We didn't use the on site laundry or BBQ but it is easily accessible.
The neighborhood was great for us also. Plenty of food options in walking distance as well as a neighborhood dive bar, liquor / convenience stores etc. Traffic and parking were surprisingly not much of a problem. Easy access to Balboa Park, but not really walking distance since you drive through the golf course to get to the heart of it.
Transaction went smoothly with great communication and quick return of my deposit. I would definitely consider staying here again if/when we return to San Diego.
Clean, great neighborhood, manager response was quick. Comfortable sleeping.
Great place for a San Diego visit
We spent 9 days here and really enjoyed it. A traditional craftsman home with well appointed amenities on a nice quiet street in a great area of San Diego (south Park neighborhood). Walking distance to nice shops and eateries, a stone's throw to Balboa Park, and a 5-10 minute drive ( or Uber ride) to more great food and drink places in North Park, University Heights, Hillcrest, etc.
The apartment was quiet, comfortable, and well maintained. We will be returning for our next visit to SD.
Located minutes to The World Famous San Diego Zoo, Downtown San Diego and the Convention Center, Balboa Park with its Hiking Trails, Olympic Size Pool, Tennis Courts, Disc Golf Course, Archery Course, 3 Dog Parks, and a 10 minutes drive to San Diego Beaches. You get the best of Urban San Diego with its Zoo, Park &Museums and Downtown SD with the Convention Center and all the night life you could desire, as well as close Beach Proximity. The North Park & South Park Neighborhoods are the most progressive neighborhoods in San Diego with their art, dance, yoga, restaurants, and coffee shops...it is the Mecca of the Urban Neighborhoods surrounding Downtown San Diego!
