Overall we were pleased with our stay. The apartment is nice. Advertising it as luxury is a bit of an exaggeration but it it’s a nice apartment/ townhouse that is perfect for 1 big family or 2 small families. The location is absolutely superb in terms of it being right in the centre of town, with restaurants and shops very close by.We had a few grievances which were - Nearly all cutlery, bowls, plates, mugs and glasses were dirty. It was obvious they had been put through a dishwasher but debatable with cleaning product in it. There was hardened bits of food all over things. The property manager/ cleaner should have noticed this as it wasn’t a one off. The vrbo add stated the property had parking. It’s kind of half true. You can park in a big multi storey that is used by everyone for free who visits the town. So you need to walk 5 minutes across town. The way to unload and load the car on arrival and departure is a huge problem if you have more than a basic suitcase and/ or are travelling with small children. The heating controls are very confusing so you end up having to go around every radiator and adjusting them manually. There is some conflicting information between the ad and then the property book when you get there - such as the ad states 11am check out and it then states 10 when you arrive.Despite the above cons, I would still recommend this apartment as the price vs quality was good and apart from the kitchenware it was clean and comfortable.
