Villa Mirabelle, detached house with big garden just a short walk to beach.

A very comfortable, well exposed, light, detached house, Villa Mirabelle, Barneville, has a large enclosed garden of 2200 m2 for outdoor eating with BBQ and garden, dining table and chairs. There is a large west facing, sun filled conservatory of 30m2 with additional dining and lounge area for warmer days. The house is just a few minutes walk from the miles of beach at Barneville Plage. Beach front café open in the summer. Supermarkets and shops a few minutes drive. The house has 3 bedrooms ( double 160 bed and 4 single beds) and 2 bathrooms with 1 with shower and separate toilet. 2nd smaller shower room with toilet. Very well equipped cook’s kitchen which is open plan with dining and lounge areas. The kitchen is supplied with tea towels, cleaning products, dishwasher tablets, foil, herbs and spices, mustard etc.
Utility room. Please note that front shutters are decorative only.
Close to beautiful Carteret with restaurants and cliff walks.
Free wifi internet connection.
Heating throughout the house and wood burning stove. (Please note: Extra charge for heating. Metered. Only pay for what you use) 10 KWs included per day based on normal usage.
Bed linen and towel rental. 10 euros per person for bed linen and 5 euros per person for towels. Free of charge when you book 2 weeks.
Saturday to Saturday bookings.
Cleaning service based on number of guests between 65 and 85 euros.
Breakages deposit 300 euros payable on arrival.
1 small Pet allowed. (dogs and cats). Dogs can not go on the beach in the summer months. Please ask before you book. Please note we only accept 1 dog maximum. Dogs must not go in the bedrooms.

Sehr schönes Haus mit großem Grundstück, relativ ruhig gelegen. Der riesige Wintergarten mit den verschiedenen Sitzecken und dem Ess-Bereich ist das absolute Highlite des Hauses, wir haben nahezu jede Minute darin verbracht! Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, es ist alles vorhanden. Die Zimmer sind gut, wir haben hervorragend geschlafen (super Matratzen!). Die Vermieter sind beide sehr nett und hilfsbereit, die Kommunikation war auf Deutsch und Englisch kein Problem. Der Strand ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Hundebesitzer sollten allerdings bedenken, daß der Strand im Juli und August für Hunde gesperrt ist. Wir sind dann immer nach Hatainville an den sehr schönen Strand gefahren, dort sind Hunde erlaubt (ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto). Wir kommen gern wieder, dann nur vielleicht nicht im Juli/August.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus in Strandnähe

Das Ferienhaus liegt idyllisch in einem großen Garten, fussläufig zum Strand von Barneville. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und lässt an nichts zu wünschen übrig. Der kleine Markt und der Nachtmarkt machen viel Freude. Jane ist eine sehr nette Vermieterin. Wir haben die Woche in Barneville-Carteret genossen. Wir kommen sicherlich ein zweites Mal wieder.

Ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt

Mein Mann und ich verbrachten eine erholsame Woche in diesem sehr ruhig gelegenen Haus. Zu Fuß erreichte man in fünf Minuten den herrlich breiten Sandstrand, wo man kilometerlange Spaziergänge machen konnte. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in Barneville genügend, das nahegelegene Cap Carteret bietet bei Dünen-und Strandwanderungen atemberaubende Ausblicke. Die Kommunikation mit der sehr sympathischen, um das Wohl der Gäste bemühten Vermieterin war problemlos, in ihrem perfekt ausgestatteten Haus haben wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Thank you very much, Jane!

Geweldige vakantie in Barneville-Carteret

Wij verbleven 14 dagen in het huis van Jane en Christian Brocard. De ontvangst was zeer hartelijk en alle informatie over de woning werd goed uitgelegd. De woning was fantastisch en voldeed volledig aan de beschrijving. Wij hebben erg genoten van de serre en de prachtige tuin. De tuin was goed omheind zodat onze hond niet weg kon lopen. De informatiemap in huis heeft ons goed geholpen bij het maken van de plannen voor de dag. Jane en Christian zijn erg aardige mensen, die klaar staan als je ze nodig hebt. Bedankt voor de mooie tijd in jullie huis.

Tolles Haus in toller Umgebung

Wir sind durch das Vermieterpaar sehr freundlich empfangen worden. Das Haus ist etwas älter, aber liebevoll eingerichtet. Es ist alles vorhanden was benötigt wird, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Alles war beim eintreffen sauber und hergerichtet. Der Kamin verbreitet eine angenehme Wärme. Das Haus selbst liegt fußläufig in Strandnähe. Dieser ist wunderschön und lädt zu langen Spaziergängen ein. Auch Wanderungen durch die Dünen sind auf vorgegebenen Wegen möglich und die Gegend bietet sich auch zum radfahren an. Kurz, vermutlich werden wir mal wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für die Möglichkeit in diesem schönen Haus unseren Urlaub genießen zu dürfen.

Good time in Barn Town !

Logement idéal pour famille. Très bien équipé. Jane est très à l'écoute. Le centre de Barneville est à 1,7 km, après une forte montée. Le centre de Carteret est à 3,250 km par le GR 223. Vélo quasi obligatoire. Heureusement un nouveau loueur de vélos (COTACTIVE) s'est installé tout près de la plage. Baignade possible uniquement à marée haute !

Une maison fort agréable et un accueil tres bienveillant par les propriétaires.

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances dans cette maison très cosy avec le choix des balades aux alentours : à pieds, à vélo et la proximité du Havre était un ravissement pour nous et pour les promenades de notre Berger Australien. We are a French and English couple (retired technician and teacher) and have lived in Normandy with our 2, now grown up, children, since 1986. We have all enjoyed life by the coast, sharing the area with friends and family and making the most of the beautiful countryside and the miles of quiet, unspoilt beaches and unique Cotentin coast.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

We bought the house in 2002 for holidays and use it ourselves regularly. Barneville is very special for us as it has been a holiday destination for the French side of the family since the 1970's.
A perfect stay for us at Barneville is going to the market, having a coffee in a local café and bringing home regional produce such as seafood and cheese from the local specialists on the Saturday market.
When we welcome our guests we know they will love it as much as we do.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The house is just a short walk to the beach, its summer beach café and the sea front hotel and restaurant. The house is a relaxed, comfortable family home which is well equipped and the best part of the house is the huge conservatory which is the perfect place to be at the end of the day as it faces west and gets sunshine most of the day.
