Moderna y luminosa, esta atractiva villa se encuentra en medio de un campo tranquilo y semi arbolado en la zona de Ratzakli de Kefalonia. Disfruta de vistas pintorescas desde sus bonitas zonas al aire libre. La villa se encuentra en una zona tranquila cerca de los pueblos de Skala (3 km) y Katelios (3, 5 km), también a poca distancia en coche de la playa de Kaminia (700 metros) donde aguardan arenas idílicas y mares espumosos. El encantador exterior pintado de durazno da paso a un interior fresco y aireado, con un amplio salón-cocina-comedor en la planta baja. La elegante cocina está magníficamente equipada, con una mesa de comedor completa. La sala de estar contigua está cómodamente amueblada con sofás y un televisor de pantalla grande. Las puertas de vidrio llenas conducen a la atractiva terraza junto a la piscina, que disfruta del sol la mayor parte del día y mira hacia los árboles para proporcionar el telón de fondo tranquilo perfecto para tomar el sol y comer al aire libre. Las tres habitaciones están terminadas en un estilo atractivo, cada una con baño privado y balcón. La suite principal se asoma al mar Jónico con vistas a Zakynthos (Zante).

Villa Astoria

The Villa was absolutely beautiful. Very clean and well kept. Whenever we had questions help was only one text away. There was a cleaning service 1/2 way through the trip and a pool cleaner came regularly. It was a great place for a relaxing vacation. The Villa was also located very close to Kamania beach which is our favorite beach on the island. The only knock is that the beds were not the most comfortable, but they also could have been worse.

Villa Asterea, Ratzakli

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday to Kefalonia and Villa Asterea. The accommodation was spacious, clean and had everything that we needed as a family of 5. The outside area was spotless and the pool was the perfect size. Kaminia Beach is a 5-minute drive and was probably the best beach that we visited. Ratzakli has a restaurant, which we visited 3 times, and is a 5-minute walk from the villa. Aristides was quick to respond to our questions before we travelled and he met us on our arrival for a tour of the villa and to handover the keys. We had a fabulous holiday and we’d highly recommend Villa Asterea to other holidaymakers.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful villa in Kefalonia. It’s absolutely perfect for families or groups of friends.The location is ideal – just a 5-minute drive (or around 20 minutes’ walk) to a fantastic beach bar and one of the most stunning beaches we’ve ever visited. The water is a pure, brilliant turquoise, completely clear all the way to the bottom, and the shallows stretch far out, making it perfect and safe for children.The villa itself exceeded all our expectations. The photos honestly don’t do it justice – it is far more spacious and beautiful in real life. The pool was spotlessly clean, much larger than we expected, and gets the sun all day long. We especially loved the “rosé balcony” – the perfect spot to sit with a drink in the early evening.With a car, there are endless places to explore nearby – we found some incredible secluded beaches and coves. The villa was the perfect base for adventures, but also such a lovely place to simply relax and enjoy.The host was fantastic, and everything was made so easy for us. We normally stay in villas in Corfu each year, but this trip to Kefalonia and this villa has been our favourite family holiday ever. We will definitely be back and couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Beautiful, relaxing and highly recommended

We have just returned from a beautiful family trip to Villa Asterea. We could not have asked for anything more, the villa was well-equipped, clean and in a great location. A fabulous luxury villa with pool and views

Villa Asterea is a fabulous villa, very spacious and comfortably furnished throughout with excellent balconies and air-con. The large pool and terrace area are great, with views out to sea and ample seating options, shade umbrellas, BBQ, etc. The owner lives nearby and couldn’t be more helpful. It’s just 2 mins drive down (a very steep road) to stunning Kaminia Beach, surely one of the biggest and quietest on the island. 10 mins drive in each direction to Skala (small town) and Katelios (attractive village) for a wide range of tavernas. Highly recommended. We very much hope to stay again in future.

Superb, spacious villa with great pool

We rented Villa Asterea from Aristides for two weeks in September and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The communication was perfect. We were welcomed to the villa despite arriving quite late. It is a superb Villa, caringly looked after. During our stay, the villa was cleaned through twice and we received changes of linen. It is a fantastic place to relax and the pool was sparkling and cleaned regularly by a maintenance man. We had a fantastic holiday.

Peaceful and Relaxing.

Wonderful Villa in a peaceful location. Dionysios (Dennis) made us feel very welcome and showed us all we needed to know about the Villa. Everything you need is there. The pool is lovely and kept well cleaned. Nice to see that Dennis keeps the gardens tidy every other day or so too. There are Beaches close by if you want, Kaminia and Mounda. Excellent holiday Villa. We would definitely go back to this Villa. 10/10 for us.

Peaceful villa

The villa is in a super quiet location. Perfect for Kaminia beach. Very beautiful part of the island, ideal for Katelios and Scala. Would say a car is essential as only small taverna in Ratzakli. The villa was in excellent condition with all equipment necessary. Dionysios the manager was brilliant, checked on us regularly and nothing too much trouble. Would definitely book again.

Sunny and spacious

We enjoyed our stay here. Both the villa and the grounds were immaculately kept, and there is plenty of space inside and out. Loved the pool terrace which had sunshine all day and also the balcony from the main bedroom, just right for morning coffee or a last digestif. Just a two minute drive to the beach and to two tavernas which were open during the day and evening. A handy location mid way between Katelios with its fab fish restaurants and the larger town of Skala.

Lovely, spacious and private villa

The villa was well situated between Ketalios and Skala. It had a great pool and a lovely private garden area with balconies looking out to the sea. The house was spacious and well decorated and the washing machine came in really handy. Having regular cleaners was also luxury! We had a fantastic, relaxing time here and would thoroughly recommend it. Aristides was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. He was also very responsive to any queries. We would love to return one day!

Fantastic Stay!

What a great property! Our Family of 6 had a wonderful time at this Villa. When we arrived the property manger met us there a provided a thorough walk through of the Villa and all the amenities. The property and Villa were immaculately maintained for our one week stay with visits from housekeeping, pool cleaner, and every other day the grounds were swept and we were check on to make sure we had everything we needed. Location was fantastic for our family get away, quiet and private but still a short drive to the beach, restaurants and shops. We look forward to our next stay at Villa Asterea Ratzakli

Excellent villa,lovely pool, terrace, local beach

We stayed here in August 2017. This is an excellent villa with a lovely pool. It was spotless and very well equipped. Aristides, its owner, went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The villa is 10 min walk down to a perfect family beach and excellent (if a bit pricey) bar and taverna. Its a 20 min walk back up to the villa. From the beach you can walk 20-30mins round the shore to the neighbouring village of Katelios with its many tavernas. Alternatively, it is a 10 mins drive away. A 10 minute drive in the other direction is the seaside town of Skala with beach, supermarkets and more tavernas.

Very good property. We were very comfortable and secure. Very comfortable.

The on line photos don't do the property justice. The rooms are larger and we'll furnished. Three good sized ensuite rooms. The upper floors have lovely balconies. The pool area is good with large umbrella over a six seater table. Inside living space is good and aircon works well. Kitchen might benefit from a juicer or toastie maker but that's all pretty minor. Overall very well equipped. The whole property is very well maintained and secure. The location was good for us, quiet and private. A car is needed to get around the island but you can walk to the beach and local restaurants. Overall very good

Perfect villa for a relaxing family holiday

This was our third stay in this villa. As usual the villa manager Dionisios greeted us when we arrived. He and his crew keeps the villa, garden and pool in a great condition. If you need anything just ask! The villa is loacated in quiet surroundings near Kamini beach. Kamini beach is very family friendly. We recommend driving alongside the beach road until you get to the Anemos beach bar for the best beach and the best food! The villa is also a short drive from Skala with lots of shops and excellent restaurants. You can have a lovely holiday just staying in the area but we recommend having a car to go exploring all the hidden gems of the Island. The island has so many beautiful and diverse beaches all with this amazing crystal clear blue waters. I wouldn't be surprised if we returned yet again. And if we do we'll certainly stay at Villa Asterea again!

Fabulous villa

Villa Asterea was perfect for our family of 6 (Mum, Dad, adult daughter, 11 year old son, Nan and Grandad). In a lovely quiet location, close to a great sandy beach. Skala is only 10 minutes away by car and has a great beach, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. Aristides met us on arrival and regularly checked in on us to make sure everything was ok during our 2 week stay. The villa has all the mod cons including wifi, is clean, spacious and well maintained. A real bonus is having 3 en-suite bathrooms - no queue for the shower! Great place for a relaxing stress free holiday, we loved it so much we are going back this summer.

Perfect vacation!

This was our second stay at villa Asterea, and the property has been perfect for our family of mom,dad,grandmother and 3 children. The owners father keeps an eye on the property and takes good care to ensure a plesant stay. The overall quality of the maintenance and cleaningservice of both villa and pool are of a high standard. And we recomend this villa for a quiet, relaxing and troublefree stay at the beautiful island of Kefalonia. The closest beach is Kaminia beach (walking distance) which is in our opinion the best beach for children on the island. We might even return for a 3rd stay.

The best of island life

We're a young family, with three children aged 10, 6 and 3. Villa Asterea was the perfect holiday home. So much space, everywhere. Perfectly clean. Everything is so solid and works so well. The pool and the balconies are a treat. Aristides met us at the gate with a big natural smile, and from this moment on we all smiled all week long. We'll remember the laughter and the lovely days playing games on the terrace and swimming in the pool. The beach - which is wonderfully natural and safe for children - is a short walk away and Katelios a short drive. Slightly further afield, we loved Kuoni Beach and had great fun in Scala too. So thanks Villa Asterea and thanks Aristides for a great time in Kefalonia. We'll be back soon, and we'd recommend this villa to everyone.

Perfect villa for a perfect Island.

This villa was above and beyond our expectations. It was like home from home, extremely clean and spacious. The pool and gardens immaculate. Superb location and peaceful. Dennis, our host, fantastic. Upon my arrival home I discovered I had left, believe it or not, most of my clothes in the villa!!!! After a call to Dennis, it was all packed up and promptly returned to me, he would not accept my offer of payment either.We were reluctant to leave this beautiful villa and we will definitely be returning.

This was our first visit to Kefalonia and will definitely not be our last. The Villa Asterea was excellent not only in a superb location, but was all we had hoped for and a bit more. We were made very welcome and well looked after by our host Dionisios whom we called Dennis. We would thoroughly recommend this villa if you are considering travelling to Kefalonia.

Comfortable, spacious, clean and well maintained

This is a lovely villa, with a high specification and spacious rooms. We were greeted by the owner's father Dionisios who explained where everything was. We were grateful for a Welcome pack of essential items such as tea, coffee, milk, fruit juice and beer. The villa pool and garden were clean and well maintained. Dionisios came every couple of days to keep the garden and outside area tidy. The inside was cleaned by an English couple every five days. The pool was cleaned every two days at around 7am. It has a good kitchen area for a holiday villa, with a kettle, toaster, coffee machine, microwave oven, cooker, dishwasher and large fridge/freezer. There are enough crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils, although a second chopping board and better kitchen knives would be very useful. There is a washing machine in a room around the back of the house. Wi-fi is also provided (once we had figured how to get it working) along with a TV and DVD player, and a small collection of DVDs. Air conditioning is included, but we didn't need it at the time of year we went. There's a sturdy barbecue outside too, which we did use a couple of times. The pool area is at the front of the house, but is above road level so you are not overlooked. There is also a pleasant garden with banana trees. The bedrooms each have an good quality en-suite bathroom, and there was plenty of hot water for showers after a day of sunbathing. Off-road car parking is available, on the steep slope up to the house. The villa is Located in the village of Ratzakli near Skala, next to other villas on a steep hill with a partial view out to sea. Kaminia Beach at the bottom of the hill is a sandy beach that goes out very gently to sea. We arrived in early May when the tourist season was just starting up, so the taverna and snack bars on the local beach weren't open at first but, were getting going by the time we left. It is a short drive to either Skala with many restaurants on the main street and waterfront, or Katelios where there are several wonderful seafood restaurants and cafe bars on the beach. It is possible to walk to Katelios along the beach and over the headland. There are also some small supermarkets in Skala along with a couple of bakeries. This is a comfortable, spacious, clean and well maintained villa, in a great location, and we thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks stay there.
