Beautiful Traditional Wooden Detached 4 bedroom Luxury Chalet In Prime location

Chalet Arnou is a detached traditional wooden chalet perched high in the picturesque mountain village resort of Vaujany. The WiFi equipped chalet is perfectly equipped to provide luxury accommodation for a wonderful winter ski holiday or summer mountain experience. Sauna, jacuzzi and wood burner. Conveniently placed for four restaurants, the supermarket all within a 2 minute walk and a great kindergarten five minutes away. Excellent views of the waterfall and down the valley. Vaujany is a wonderful winter and summer resort. In winter the large cable car gives direct access to 2,800m and access to the massive Alpe D'Huez ski area as well as the Montfrais ski bowl with children ski schools, restaurants and snack bar. In the summer the spectacular village is a well locatedi centre for hiking and mountain biking with the famous mega avalanche and the VTT network all accessed from the resort. It is also a base for road cycle racing and canoeing and wind surfing are all possible nearby.
Winter dates are based on Sunday changeover. This is a much easier day to travel with cheaper flights and much less traffic. We can try accommodate Saturday changes if required.

Excellent chalet in a great location

The chalet was perfect for us, with good space and great facilities. We were a party of 7 adults and 1 child, so the 4 en-suite bedrooms were perfect for our needs. The chalet has great views from the top floor living area and is close to restaurants & shops. The chalet owner Andrew provided excellent service with good and frequent communication. We would all consider staying here again in the future. Vaujany is a nice, quiet village with easy access to the whole Alpe d’Huez ski domain; the Oz-Vaujany domain is good for beginners.

Magnifique chalet ultra fonctionnel

Nous avons séjourné dans ce beau chalet situé dans les hauteurs de Vaujany. Le chalet est top avec une belle vue sur la chaine montagneuse et la cuisine est bien équipé. Andrew reste a notre disposition si vous avez des questions. Je recommande sans aucun souci. Nous reviendrons surement dans les années a venir.

Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich, unkompliziert, flexibel und gut erreichbar. Das Haus ist top: geräumig, gemütlich, in bester Lage und gut ausgestattet. Es hätte etwas sauberer sein können und die Sauna wurde nicht heiß, aber das waren bei einer tollen Woche Randerscheinungen, die uns nicht abhalten würden, nochmal in dem tollen Haus Urlaub zu machen. Danke für die schöne Woche!

Zeer gastvrij ontvangen door Andrew in dit prachtige luxe en zonnig gelegen chalet. Veel privacy voor iedereen door 4 slaapkamers met eigen badkamer. Heerlijke keuken die ruimschoots is voorzien van apparatuur, attributen en servies. Een verblijf in dit chalet is zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Magnifique chalet avec tout le confort (sauf petite cafetière, les français aiment le café Andrew, il faudra une cafetière plus grande! :) ), accueil trés chaleureux et trés sympathique par Andrew le propriétaire. Nous avons apprécié le grand espace à vivre car nous n'avons pas pu skié 1 jour. A recommander...J'espère y revenir. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas plus de chambres car nous risquons d'être plus nombreux l'année prochaine. Brigitte et ses amis

Very Accommodating

A comfortable chalet, with an unusually spacious lounge/dining area on the top floor. (Although we didn't have children with us, it would be well suited to a family holiday.) James and Whitney looked after us very well, in particular, being prepared to go out of their way to help us out. (One of our group struggled to walk in ski boots.) The well planned village escalators meant it was easy to get to & from the ski lift, which provides excellent access into the Alpe d'Huez ski area. I would happily return to this chalet.

The massive Alpe d'Huez ski domaine is immediately on hand which turns into a wonderful and relaxing playground during the summer months. If it's the adrenalin of mountain biking, road biking, white water rafting and adventure holidays we do it. If it's the relaxation of saunas, swimming, walking tennis & fine cuisine look no further
