2BBYTHESEA (Unit 2B) is in a fabulous 15 unit oceanfront gulf view condominium at the Dunes Club of Cape San Blas built in 2004. It was recently fully renovated on the exterior. The Dunes Club is a secure, gated complex of 15 luxury condominiums that were completed in 2004. It is located on a gorgeous stretch of white, sandy beach that was ranked number one in America that is never crowded. Amenities include an elevator (wheelchair access), swimming pool, boat and trailer storage, beach boardwalk and one assigned and covered parking spot underneath the building plus additional parking in an outdoor lot. Free WIFI is provided .

Our unit is a third level unit offering an open and relaxed atmosphere with breathtaking views.The unit can also be accessed by stairs from the ground floor. This beautiful unit includes three bedrooms and two full bathrooms that can sleep a party of 6 comfortably. The community also offers a private gulf front pool perfect for those afternoon cool downs.

All of our furnishings are Miami style modern and complemented with contemporary and other nice art work.

This unit is the perfect place for a great getaway. The gulf front living room features a queen sleeper sofa, a well stocked entertainment center with a 42 inch plasma TV with cable, Blueray player and PlayStation. The living room has sliding glass doors that lead out to a large deck with expansive and beautiful Gulf views. The deck is equipped with a table that seats six for outdoor mewls, plus has two lounge chairs and additional seating. The decks are very large and are the largest of any condos on the Cape.

The spacious kitchen is well equipped with new, high quality large and small appliances, utensils and dishes. There is a full size pantry for storage as well. The kitchen has seating for 3 individuals at the bar as well as a separate dining room table that can accommodate 8 additional people.

The gulf front master bedroom with balcony entrance has a king-size metal four poster bed, a mirrored entertainment center with cable TV, Blueray, full bath with double vanities and walk in fully tiled shower and a large walk in closet. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, LCD TV with cable, DVD player and a full bath that connects to the hallway. The third bedroom has bunk beds with a LCD TV and a DVD player.

Soak in the sound of the waves and enjoy the beautiful view of the beach from the living area, the master bedroom or the deck.

The second bedroom has a low white leather upholstered bed and mirrored furniture with a flat screen TV.

The third and smallest bedroom has two bunk beds, closet, TV and Playstation.

The second bath is standard tub,/bath combo with tiled floors.

There is a $300 damage deposit that will be refunded within 14 days if there is no damage.

Hello, we are George Johnson and Morris Steward. We are a married couple (2005 Canada) who take great pride in presenting and maintaining our condo to the highest standards for beach life. Please pardon the photo, but it is all I could find to upload right now. Although this will be our first season renting this property ourselves, we have been in the property rental business many years and take pride in servicing our renters just as we would expect to be serviced. Dunes Club and our unit are rather isolated and very private. 2BBYTHESEA is truly for the beach lover who wants a sophisticated stay in a nearly rural environment. We require no damage deposit, but require all renters to take out as part of out rental agreement a $5000 damage insurance policy for $99. This protects both of us.

What makes this condo unique

Private and quiet for family fun and safety or old fashioned romance. Beautiful views, three sets of dunes a large white beach, maybe the most beautiful you will ever see. With the ambiance, restaurants, historical buildings and homes, fishing boats, estuary and brewery, truly together they are the last little bit of Old Florida.

Beautiful stay

We had the pleasure of staying at 2BBYTHESEA in Feb., 2018. It is a beautiful condo overlooking the Gulf. The Forgotten Coast is relaxing and peaceful...exactly what we needed as we escaped Minnesota’s winter. Our first time stay on Cape San Blas was perfect...beautiful condo, beautiful area. Thanks to the owners for sharing this with us.

Please review our experinece to decide if this is a good option for you

I wanted to write a bit about some of positive things to do with the condo, but Homeaway does not give us adequate space, so I will go over what I think you need to be warned about. The condo is more attractive in person than in the unfortunate photos, it is dated in a “Miami Vice” style. There is a lot of faux leather and it is not decorated in the streamlined feel I think most are used to seeing in this part of the South. The condo has a lot of furniture. We are all slim people, but found ourselves bumping into things in every room. It should be noted that the smaller, second bedroom has a platform bed that would be difficult for someone with medical issues. There is only one clothing dresser which can make what to do with your clothing a challenge. We thought that the water must be so brown and murky because of the rain, but it was like that the entire time. Some locals shared the water is always like this on that strip. They said that those who know better, stay on the other side of the Cape because it is known for shark activity. A man caught a shark while we were there and another guest had two swimming near him. The internet service is VERY sketchy – you have to use certain spots to get service and you have to leave the complex entirely to make a call. When we left, we were sure to strictly follow all instructions to check out, though we did leave around four items in the refrigerator. Upon returning home, we received a nasty note from the owner about the condition of the condo. 1) “trash” was left in the refrigerator 2) stains on their towels (this is absolutely untrue as we brought our own beach towels to use outside) 3) tassels were missing from a decorative pillow (also untrue as the minute I saw the decorative pillow, I put it on a shelf to keep our two year old away from it). 4) toilet seat was broken. That is the only thing that resonated with me, as when we got there, we noticed that it was already broken, and I commented to my husband that we needed to send him a note. I forgot to call him to report the broken toilet seat. 5) the kitchen sink had “die” in it (another untruth). If you decide to rent 2BbytheSea, I highly recommend that you make a thorough sweep of the condo and report anything immediately that you see. Please also take your own photos and videos. These actions might not make for the most relaxing vacation, but at least you will have some proof when you are sent a nastily-worded note about your stay.

Owner's Response: Wow! What a bad review. Here is our side of the story: When the guests left, our maid was at the unit within hours. The maid found and photographed pictures of: a broken toilet seat, a permanent stain black of dye/paint on a toilet seat top and on the inside and outside of the bath tub and severely stained towels. All issues were submitted by to the guest immediately by photograph. Someone or something destroyed a throw pillow. The garbage was not emptied anywhere in the unit and rotten food was left in the refrigerator. This was the first and only time that we did not return a deposit. This guest harassed me for 3 months and had her mother contact me. They denied everything and disputed the deposit being withheld, which they lost. As a final revenge this guest wrote that review 3 months later. The shark story is completely made up as is the murky tap water issue. If i never hear from this person again, it will be too soon. Like We have been doing this a long time, and this is the first time we ever witheld a deposit.

Kitchen was awesome. Property very clean. Master bed slept like a dream.

Many light bulbs out and no replacements in condo.

Art work is not appropriate for kids.

Too much furniture and clutter for size of condo.

Many furniture pieces add no value to condo and have no real purpose other than take up space, such as glass side table with weird Christmas tree shaped things which was actually dangerous with sharp sided ornamental floral cut outs.

In general, condo needs some basic maintenance and a furniture re- evaluation.
