The district
On Quai Quelen (named after the wife of Charles Hérisson de Beauvoir), built between 1838 and 1882 this 450m quay which received the trade of Wood and Sand, saw the arrival of Three masts, vapors and bricks . Systematic de-silting ended between the wars.
Like all the city of Faou, the district is very calm at night and however alive during the day, you will live at the rhythm of the tides with direct view on the "Ria" and the church, seeing without being seen, enjoying the privacy of the south, private and closed garden. In the immediate vicinity (radius of 200m) two grocery stores, a pharmacy, hairdressers, restaurants, newsagent.

The bus stop to Brest, Quimper, Crozon is 300m away. Very ample parking in front of the house. The GR34 passes in front of the house, and the RN165 expressway is 2 minutes

Beautiful and comfortable home

Le Faou is a lovely little town with excellent food stores and restaurants, all a few steps from this lovely house. The house is quiet and private, with a pleasant garden. It has been wonderfully restored and has comfortable beds and couches and a very complete kitchen. You will really find everything you can possibly need. Highly recommended!

Autumn week in La Faou

We spent the first week of October in this fantastic house in La Faou. The house is beautiful located along the river and only a few minutes walk to the center of the village. The owner gave us a very warm welcome, and because of this and because of the very cosy living room and kitchen we felt immediately very comfortable. We only used the master bedroom and also there no complaints. Enough space to put your clothes away and a very good bed. As we never give a 10 this house is for sure a 9.5 in our view. Thanks Jean Louis for your hospitality and the nice extra!

Sowohl die Bretagne als auch der Ort Le Faou waren wunderschön! Das Ferienhaus war in jeder Hinsicht hervorragend! Die Ausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen, alles war sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Lage ist ideal für Ausflüge und zum Entspannen. Besonders die ausgesprochen herzliche Betreuung durch Jean-Louis und seine Familie hat den Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderen gemacht. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Excellent séjour dans un bel environnement. La maison est très bien située à proximité du centre du Faou et ses commerces accueillants. Spacieuse et bien équipée, elle est aménagée avec goût. L'hôte était disponible pour répondre à nos quelques sollicitations. Un petit bémol cependant concernant la literie dont la qualité est perfectible.

Tout simplement un logement vraiment très beau...

Même si le temps était "très breton" avec beaucoup de vent et de pluie, ce qui est normal à cette époque de l'année, nous n'aurions pas pu trouver mieux pour notre séjour. Très belle maison dans le village du Faou et je pense que nous reviendrons certainement avec plaisir...

un espace et une localisation pour un ressourcement

La maison et ses trois niveaux offrent un très grand confort pour vivre des moments de ressourcement et de partage. La terrasse aménagée est un espace complémentaire qui permet de profiter pleinement de la vue sur le port et l'église du 16ème siècle et de vivre au rythme lent et calme de cette petite ville au charme fou. Un séjour très réussi. La localisation de la ville permet des ballades rapides dans la presqu'ile comme dans le littoral nord ou sud de la Bretagne. Les contacts avec les propriétaires ont été très cordiaux au moment de l'accueil et du départ.

Très belle maison, état impeccable et excellent accueil

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances dans la région en famille (3 adultes et 2 garçons de 8 et 10 ans) et profité énormément de cette belle maison, spacieuse, confortable et bien équipée. Excellente localisation avec vue sur l’église et l’entrée de la mer. Nous avons eu un accueil chaleureux des propriétaires qui ont été à l’écoute de nos demandes. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

Excellent séjour dans ce lieux insolite

Nous avons passé une superbe semaine dans cette maison très agréable. Les quatre chambres sont spacieuses et les pièces de vie conviviales. L'emplacement est idéal au cœur d'un village très vivant, doté de nombreux commerçants. La vue sur l'église est unique. La terrasse et le jardin sont un plus appréciable pour les enfants. Les propriétaires ont été très accueillants, nous ont indiqué les endroits à visiter (magie du cap de la chèvre notamment) avec l'attention d'une bouteille de cidre en guise de bienvenue. Une partie de la Bretagne que nous méconnaissions mais que nous ne tarderons pas à revisiter très prochainement!
