Esta propiedad es única ya que es remota pero cercana a muchos lugares. El dormitorio principal está abajo con un baño privado, sala de estar privada con televisión, cama king size para dormir y una terraza privada con una gran bañera de hidromasaje al aire libre. Cuatro habitaciones están arriba conectadas por una sala común con un techo abovedado. Cada una de esas habitaciones tiene una cama king, queen o doble muy cómoda. Hay un porche filtrado de 46 pies en la parte delantera con una gran sala de estar que incluye mecedoras y un columpio. Hay una gran terraza junto al comedor trasero con mesa, sillas y una parrilla de gas. Todo lo que necesitas para hacer una escapada perfecta en Central KY. El espacio abierto y las puertas interiores más anchas que las puertas facilitan las sillas de ruedas. También tenemos una rampa portátil para usar en los 2 escalones de la casa si es necesario. This is our 2nd stay at Anchorhold Farm/The Lodge. This time we took our adult kids for a long weekend to spend time together, enjoy the bourbon trail, Keeneland and playing games around the big table. Everyone of them said they would return in a heartbeat. You won't find a more beautiful property or accommodations. The large space and bedrooms were comfortable and nicely appointed. We lacked nothing as the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could imagine. Clear starry nights on the back patio and early morning sunrises on the front screened in porch were definitely a highlight for all. Thank you Jamie & Lisa for sharing your slice of heaven with us again, we are grateful for the hospitality and kindness!

Remote place to unwind

The property is as described and pictured. 20 minutes from the Nicholasville (closest town with a wide selection of restaurants and grocery) nestled in the countryside outside of Wilmore. Everything worked great and check in was a breeze.

Beautiful Mountain Home

We are from Nashville and wanted to stay in the country but near enough to Lexington and Versailles. This property is beautiful and so relaxing for a short getaway. Great back deck views and plenty of hiking around. If you want privacy and quiet this is a great place to stay. Jeff H

Heaven on Earth

This was heaven on Earth!!!! The house is located right next to the sky’s on this hill that overlooks valleys on all sides! The utter silence and peaceful sounds of birds chirping was our audio! The house so absolutely PERFECT! More than we can image or use! Every need was met - kitchen- bathrooms- outdoor games- EVERYTHING! Every room was just as welcoming as the first! The views are nothing short of spectacular! We had a family gathering at the house and EVERYONE was in awe!! Just like I said- HEAVEN ON EARTH!!!! Quiet moments in prayer on that porches reset my soul in a busy world!!! Thank you for making this home open to the world!!! It was amazing!!!

Beautiful Kentucky Home

This is a beautiful, large home on a hill with acreage. We visited in March. The three-season room was refreshing on warmer days, and the land was enjoyable to walk with the dogs. The beds were very comfortable, and the home space was very inviting. Communicating with the owners was easy. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Peaceful Family Getaway

Amazing views!

We had such a relaxing trip at this lovely cabin! The views from the hilltop were gorgeous, and we thoroughly enjoyed gazing at the stars while relaxing in the hot tub. Also, this was one of the cleanest homes we have ever rented! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a secluded get-away that is still so close to everything in bourbon country.

Lovely family Christmas

We enjoyed a lovely week at the lodge relaxing, cooking together, hiking, playing games, watching sports & holiday shows. Barely left the property, except to visit the KY castle & distillery, and were quite content! Highly recommend.

Reunion/Retreat/Refresh

We had seven people and needed all five bedrooms. Our 89 year old matriarch stayed downstairs in the primary and we dubbed her large bathroom the “girls” bathroom. We had plenty of room around the dining table for dining and making Lego Christmas ornaments! The views are spectacular and walking down the hill to the tree line and back is a workout! Great kitchen will all imaginable appliances. We made all meals on site except a Holiday Lunch at Shakertown. The property is clean, but some of the finishes (bathroom tile, faucets) could use a refresh. It’s not a problem at all, but don’t expect it to be like an austere hotel property. We felt at home. We will definitely stay here again.

Perfect!

This is the second time that we have stayed at the Lodge, and we love everything about it! The views are stunning, it's close enough to everything, but far enough away that you can really enjoy watching the wildlife and nature. The Lodge is so clean, comfortable, and restful. We highly recommend it and hope to stay there again in the future!

Enjoyed it

Some of the bedrooms, and the upstairs bathroom were a bit eccentric, but the view was amazing, the kitchen was well stocked, There were enough lamps, and the furniture was comfortable. There are even enough electrical outlets.

Heavenly Retreat in the Country

Our group of 5 couples thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean, well stocked, and very spacious for our large group. The vistas from the house were breathtaking. Information from the owner about the house and driving instruction were so helpful we never needed to contact for assistance. We would happily return in the future.

50th anniversary celebration

This property is stunning and expansive and just what we were looking for to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary. The house was much larger than the photos appear and we had plenty of room to spread out, prepare and then enjoy meals together. The Kroger card on the refrigerator was a nice touch too! There is a reason this property has a high rating. We felt like we were lucky to have stumble upon it and definitely want to make plans to return.

Peaceful and Remote

Traveled with a group of ladies on our yearly get together. The house was very remote and peaceful. Loved the screened in porch in the morning to watch the sunrise. The sunset and river bend was blocked by the trees this time of year, but still beautiful on the rear deck. The kitchen was stocked with many items. The beds were super comfortable. Large table for games was great. Was a little concerned with the creek crossing, however, we were assured that it had very little water. Thanks for sharing your home. We were blessed to stay there.
