We had a great time, despite the almost constant rain. Lots to do and see within 40 mins drive. Very effective central heating meant we always started out with dry clothes and boots. Lovely welcome pack and any questions were answered promptly by the owner. We’d definitely use this cottage again.
Thank you the cottage was a tardis was thinking that the farm animals would all come to life at dawn but no this was an extremely quiet location - The weather was appalling but that's out of everyone's control - Our overall opinion was that our break was just perfect & we hope to be back in the summer........The Thomas Lord pub down the road was outstanding
Short 2day stay and wish it was longer. Although we didn't meet Victoria she was very helpful and flexible around us leaving later on our departure date. Lovely welcome pack of essentials, wine and home made cake. We are looking to visit again in the summer so we can explore further. Thankyou
Short stay in this great property. Everything there you need. Lovely location.
Great weekend getaway from London
We enjoyed a short weekend getaway to the cottage. It was great for my two step daughters my one year old son and my husband and I. We also brought along our dog who made friends with the horse just outside in the stable. there were plenty of walks and a lovely village shop in walking distance from the cottage.
Thank you for your review - pleased you enjoyed your stay . Thank you so much for leaving the cottage so clean and tidy - very much appreciated . We do offer a small discount for returning guests so do get in touch if you are looking to stay in the area again in the future .

About Victoria Cobden
Westbury Manor Stables are owned by Simon and Victoria Cobden. They live a couple of hundred yards from the Stables so are available to answer any queries you may have whilst you are on holiday. Simon is a farmer whilst Victoria helps on the farm and looks after their two children and The Stables
Victoria Cobden purchased this Cottage in 1970
Why Victoria Cobden chose Petersfield
Westbury Manor Farm was bought by Mr and Mrs Cobden snr in 1973 and the family have lived there ever since. The Stables are owned by their eldest son Simon and his wife Victoria - they were converted from stables to a luxury holiday cottage in 2012. It is lovely to live on a farm in a rural setting but also have all the amenities you could possibly need just a few miles away.
What makes this Cottage unique
The Stables are on the edge of a working farm and whilst guests must be aware farms can be dangerous places due to tractors and machinery, there is the opportunity to see newborn lambs and calves at certain times of the year. Lovely walking area within the South Downs National Park. The Stables have been converted to a luxury standard but retain the character of the Victorian building
