Great apartment and host

Lovely property and in a central location, great hosts who gave us all the information needed in our welcome tour. The apartment was very nice and well maintained and the roof terrace was an extra nice touch, thank you Patrick and Diane for your hospitality 😊

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in this wonderful apartment. It was central but peaceful. The kitchen was very well equipped, the bed was comfortable, and the shower worked well. Highly recommended.

Perfect Location

Diana and Patrick still understand themselves as hosts and make sure that their guests feel absolut comfortable. The flat is very clean and very well equipped. Great view from the furnished roof terrace. Only a few steps to all attractions in Valletta and to the bus terminal.

Great place to stay

The location of the apartment couldn't be better. Most of Vallettta's attractions, the 3 cities ferry, and numerous restaurants are just a short walk away. The views from the rooftop terraces are stunning. The apartment was clean with all home comforts, and Patrick was a helpful and professional host, even arranging our transfer from the airport. Conveniently, there is a cafe and bakery right next door for coffee and breakfast. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Patrick.

Excellent

We had a wonderful two week holiday exploring Malta. This apartment certainly enhanced our vacation as the location was central to everything and it met all of our requirements. Patrick was very helpful and accommodating. He went beyond the call of duty to ensure our comfort and was a pleasure to deal with. Clean comfortable apmnt in the heart of Valletta

An excellent apartment containing all the amenities required for a holiday rental in Valletta. Patrick was clearly very proud of his apartment and his city and deservedly so. He provided a good welcome pack including wine and offered full advice about the facilities within the apartment and places to see in Valletta. The roof terrace is an excellent facility offering guests outdoor space and views over the city and harbour areas.

Patrick and Diane's property is absolutely terrific. There is no better location in the city center of Valleta. It is walking distance to shops, restaurants, bar etc. It is walking distance to the main bus terminal that will get you anywhere on Malta. Patrick and Diane are extremely communicative and attentively to all their guests needs. They really do offer a 5 star customer service experience. They were kind enough to leave us a breakfast pack containing croissants, coffees and jams. Not only can we not wait to travel back to Malta but we can't wait to stay with Patrick and Diane.

We were being recorded!!

We had been planning our stay for over a year and looked forward to it . Our dear friends traveled with us and stayed in a beautiful hotel the Cumberland close by . When we arrived the host came to meet us and was very short and direct we were uncomfortable from the start. It was very hot in the apartment and when we ask for help with the system it all went down hill from there. Our dear friend stopped over to sit on the terrace with us for a glass of wine and Patrick called to tell her to leave or he would call the police! So embarrassing to ask our friend to leave, she is a retired librarian and teaches piano! I could understand if it was a rowdy teen or someone disturbing the peace. Highly do not recommend this place unless you love being recorded every second of your stay.

Our priority is always to provide a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for all our guests. Unfortunately, this guest’s review is inaccurate, and we feel it’s important to clarify the facts for future guests. Upon arrival late in the evening, the guests were greeted courteously and given a thorough tour of the apartment, including instructions on how to use all amenities, the climate control system, and the shared roof terrace. When they later contacted us with questions, we responded promptly even though it was very late and offered assistance. The cooling system worked fine throughout their stay. Regarding their visitors, our house rules which all guests agree to before booking clearly state that unregistered visitors are not permitted on the property as we believe that our properties and facilities are to be used and enjoyed only by our booked guests. We also advise guests not to share key codes, but these guests shared the access codes with their friends who were staying in a different accommodation in the city. We kindly asked them not to allow people who were not staying at our accommodations inside the block, but they ignored this request and repeated the behavior the following day. This policy is in place for the safety, privacy, and comfort of all our guests and is standard practice in short-term rentals. We communicated this politely and professionally. There was no threat of involving authorities without cause. For transparency: as noted in our listing, we have exterior CCTV in place for the safety and security of all guests. This CCTV monitors entrances and outdoor areas ONLY and is definitely not used to monitor or intrude on our guests and on privacy inside the apartments. In all our years of hosting, this is the first time we have encountered guests who were so disrespectful towards us and our clearly communicated policies. As our numerous positive reviews on VRBO show and many repeated guests we had through out the years we are dedicated to providing exceptional experiences and continually work hard to offer outstanding properties and hospitality. We thank all our guests who respect our accommodations and our policies.

Home away from home

We, a retired couple, stayed at this apartment for a week to visit Malta and Gozo. We can highly recommend it. Patrick, our host, welcomed us and spent a good amount of time explaining everything and making recommendations, even though our arrival was late on a Saturday night. There was a welcome package of bread, milk, fruit cookies and wine. The apartment is perfectly-situated in the old part of Valletta, close to all the sites to visit there, with easy access to the ferry across the harbour to the "3-Cities" and an easy walk to the main bus terminal for visiting the rest of Malta and Gozo. We were glad to have taken Patrick's suggestion to get an economical one-week bus pass that was good for both islands. The apartment is spacious; the AC works well in the bedroom and wall-mounted fans in the other rooms are perfect with the high ceilings. The kitchen is well-equipped and Patrick has appointed the apartment as if he lived in it. The roof-top terrace was a wonderful place for lunch or a nightcap with 4 separate areas with different views, which would have allowed for privacy if wanted from other guests, although we did not encounter any during our stay. Overall, we do not think we could have found a place as good and a host more welcoming. Patrick's current work adding a lift will make it even better for those on the upper floors.

Patrick hat für uns den Flughafentransfer organisiert. Patrick und seine Frau nahmen uns in Empfang. Beide sind sehr nett, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Uns wurde alles erklärte. Die Wohnung ist sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Von der Terrasse hat man einen super Blick zum Hafen. Die Wohnung liegt zentral, so dass man schnell zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten kommt. Stadtpläne und Infomaterial lagen vor. Patrick und seine Frau konnte man immer befragen, wohin man essen gehen soll, welche Sehenswürdigkeiten man besuchen soll. Sie waren immer kompetent und hilfsbereit.

Le propriétaire, Patrick, est parfait tant au niveau de la communication avant l'arrivée qu'une fois sur place. L'appartement est propre, conforme aux photos et la localisation idéale avec tout à proximité immédiate (visites, restaurants, accès au port ...). A réserver sans hésiter !

Wonderful Apartment

We stayed at this property for six nights. The location was perfect. Patrick is a great host. He answered all of our questions before our stay promptly and clearly. Our bed was very comfortable which is a real compliment since I have a bad back. When we return to Malta we would definitely stay at Patrick’s apartment again.

Comfortable well equipped apartment

We stayed in January and were pleased to find that the apartment was very cosy and warm. Everything worked as it should, the bed was comfortable as was the sofa. We were a five minute walk from the bus station allowing us to travel all over the island using the excellent bus service. There were shops, restaurants and cafés within a minutes walk. Patrick was attentive to us and genuinely wanted us to have a good time in his lovely apartment.

Location Location.

This apartment is in the Best location in Valletta. A short walk to all the busses and ferries. Also 2 min walk from the main high street with all the shops and restaurants.Everything was super clean and the kitchen is well equipped. Patrick was a FANTASTIC host very efficient and kind. He even gave us a farewell gift from Malta a lovely personal touch! The only reason I didn’t give the apartment 5 stars is because it was quite hot without air conditioning in the kitchen and lounge area but I believe it’s on the cards! Best is that there is a lift. Believe me nobody wants to climb stairs in the heat!!

A great location in the heart of Valletta

Everything from our arrival went perfectly. From a personal greeting & welcome by Pattrick all the way through to the apartments and the amazing views on the roof terrace, everythign far exceeded what we ever imagined for this property. All in all it was an amazing experience and we cannot wait to hopefully return in the near future. Great location 8 min walk from the main bus station making the entire Island accessible within 1hrs journey. And the main street is simply 2 corners away. Great place to swim is down by the Grand Harbour too.

Great location, amazing roof top terrace

We spent seventeen days in this apartment in Valletta and had absolutely great time there. After renting a car and touring practically the whole of Malta and Gozo, and despite significantly higher prices, we can still recommend a stay in Valletta for a holiday on Malta. We even bathed on the rocky beach in the city, although we mostly visited other rocky and sand beaches on Malta and then enjoyed Valletta in the evenings, without tourist crowds, and ended our evenings on the roof terrace of our apartment with a breathtaking view of the Grand Harbour. Our host Patrick was very professional and forthcoming, he treated us with a free of charge weekly cleaning and change of linen. The elevator in the house was a big plus! We would definitely come back here again.

Excellent apartment in the heart of Valletta. Stunning views of the harbour from roof terrace.

Patrick was an excellent host who was waiting for us outside the apartment on arrival from the airport. He explained all we needed to know in his beautifully maintained spacious apartment.A welcoming bottle of wine, fruit, bread and milk was much appreciated and showed the exceptional care Patrick has in his guests. Our first lunch we enjoyed on the roof terrace with stunning views of the harbour and the 3 cities in warm sunshine (in January!). Valletta is a fascinating and compact city with all places of interest within easy walking distance. The bus service to other parts of the island are reliable and cheap. Would absolutely recommend to our friends and hope to come back ourselves some day.

Worth the journey!

Our stay in the apartment was among the best! Patrick graciously greeted us on arrival with warmth and a generous sharing of his beautiful Valletta. The apartment and garden terrace provided a comfortable and beautiful setting to feel "at home". We highly recommend this beautiful and convenient location. A lovely bakery just outside the door and what a welcome bonus that a modern elevator transported us and our luggage seamlessly up 3 flights.We highly recommended this well cared for apartment. Great experience!

Few meters from St. John Square the main square and Republic Street, Valletta's High Street, the Valletta fruit and vegetable market, food stores etc. Buses to all destinations in Malta leave from the terminal a 5 min walk away.
