About Constance Newbould
We live in Edinburgh and have always loved the West Coast of Scotland as we have family ties there.
Constance Newbould purchased this Bungalow in 2009
Why Constance Newbould chose Kyle
Seacroft is just the most relaxing place in the world and as it is on the shores of Lochalsh has great views and an ever changing landscape. The house because it is quite new is really cosy and although we have the wood burning stove is is certainly not essential! As we use the house lots ourselves the kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need. Lots of plates and cutlery etc etc.
What makes this Bungalow unique
We just loved the house from the beginning as each bedroom has its own facilities and as it is a bungalow it is really easy to keep. We love the open plan layout as it makes for a lovely holiday feel.

Great location, spacious property.
We had a lovely week in Kyle! The house was perfect for my family (4 adults, 2 children and a dog) and we found the kitchen extremely well equipped. The location was great for doing lots of activities nearby and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you
Picturesque, peaceful stay
My family and I have just come back from Constance's idyllic cottage up in the highlands. The cottage is set in a beautiful surrounding and has everything you may need. Close to local towns and lots of interesting things to do. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Delighted you enjoyed our cottage
Beautiful location. Comfortable, roomy bungalow.
The Kyle of Lochalsh area is renown for the scenery and this location is ideally suited to profit. Kayaking and swimming at the foot of the garden! Neighbour's dog happy to accompany anyone on a walk along the shore. Bungalow is spacious and comfortable with a well equiped kitchen.
Fantastic stay in a beautiful spacious cottage with a view to remember
Beautiful spacious property with plenty room for all our party (8 adults).
Kitchen was incredibly well equipped and open plan living ensured uninterrupted quality time was enjoyed by all.
Fabulous location to access all activities around Kyle and Skye
Thank you so much, we will be back soon
Great location but the place needs cleaning and looking after
We (two families with two children each) spent a week in this house. The location could not have been better and the size of the house is great for eight people, especially the open plan kitchen. However, the house did not meet our expectations. Everything was dirty; we even had to vacuum clean on the day we arrived and dust was accumulated everywhere in the house. The garden is big but you need to watch out for dog and hen excrements from neighbouring pets. Rubbish is also accumulated in the access to the loch and we are still wondering whether someone lives in the 'not very friendly' caravan parked at the front of the property. The hot water is not reliable. We had cold showers on two of the 6 evenings we spent there which isn't nice especially when you have young children. Overall, great location and size but the place needs cleaning and looking after.
I am so sorry the house was not clean when you arrived. I have had to speak to the cleaner yet again and will now inspect before guests arrive. She did assure me the house was properly cleaned but clearly does not understand. The water situation is being remedied as we are installing a larger water tank. I will also speak to the neighbours about their animals they usually do keep everything clear. Hopefully you still had an enjoyable holiday.
TLC needed for house
House was dirty toilet seats not cleaned floor not brushed I took photographs to show owner. We had very little hot water not enough for all of us to be washed. I contacted the owner about this but it didn't make a difference our option was a cold shower or not to wash. Was very disappointed with the money we paid to what we received.
I am sorry that our house was not at its usually clean standard on this occasion. This was our new cleaners first time and I have explained what is expected of her. We have not had a problem with lack of hot water before but the plumber has checked the boiler and electric immersion and both are working correctly. He has reset the programmer which may have been the problem.I was heartened by your comments left in our book saying you would return as the house itself had an amazing view and good base for visiting Skye.
