Traditionally finished family chalet located in a quiet quarter of town on the hillside with a very open and sunny position with stunning views of the Chamonix valley and Mont Blanc.
4 traditional bedrooms (2 ensuite + 2 with adjacent bathroom) accommodate 8 people. One bedroom is a double and the others can be prepared as doubles or twin rooms.
Spacious living area with wood burning stove and stunning views across the Chamonix valley towards Mont Blanc and the Chamonix Aiguilles. Large, well appointed open plan kitchen and dining area. Extensive south facing wooden terrace which is fully enclosed by tall jardineres and fencing making it child friendly.
Garage parking for one car with additional outside covered parking space on drive.

Amazing home and location

We had an incredible time staying here. In addition to being walkable to the city center, and having incredible views of both Mont Blanc and the town, the home had an incredible collection of CD’s and provincial books to get to know the area. We felt very lucky to have found and stayed at this gem.

Great chalet, amazing views.

This chalet is just stunning. It has everything you could possibly need. We were 6 adults and 2 children aged 8 and 11. The chalet had the best views of Mont Blanc. So much space and great amenities. 15 walk into town.Great stay

Spectacular Mont Blanc view

We stayed with our family of 6 in Pauls house in August. It is a large, attractive and fully equipped house within walking distance of the center and the lift to the Brevent. The photos on the site don’t do justice to the beautiful house and its views.

Great Chalet with Amazing Views of Mont Blanc

The chalet has loads of space. We were 8 people and the two living spaces meant we never felt cramped. The walk into town was 10 minutes and it was really convienient for the Plan Praz lift which was only 5 minutes alway via a flat walk. The decking was nice to sut out on and the large windows made the most of the views

Great homely stay

This chalet felt like a home away from home, plenty of space, everything you could need was there and the space felt lived in and welcoming. Great communication in advance so we knew where everything was and the alternative route up was essential given it was heavy snow when some of the group arrived. Straight forward walk to the lifts and town and for the older members of the group we found the number 10 and number 14 buses really helpful (worth downloading the Chamonix App(. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce chalet avec une vue incroyable. Confort parfait. Je veux juste préciser que pour se rendre au centre-ville de Chamonix à pied, cela est largement possible mais le retour monte pas mal , une bonne forme physique est nécessaire. Emplacement très calme.

Séjour très agréable dans un beau chalet, bien équipé, à la fois au calme et à 8-10 minutes du centre-ville à pied (10-15 minutes au retour en montée). Les équipements sont de qualité (literie, salles de bain, cuisine) La terrasse offre une vue somptueuse sur le Mont-Blanc. Paul a été très réactif et chaleureux lors de tous nos échanges. Views for days

My husband and I along with my sister-in-law + family stayed for 1 week for UTMB. The large home was a perfect space for all of us - we were able to have a space away for ourselves in the ground floor suite while the kids could have their own spaces in the loft area and rooms. The terrace is absolutely the best part of this home - having a coffee and pastry while watching the sunrise on the mountains is truly an experience we will never forget. The home is in a quiet neighborhood (which was nice to have a break from the UTMB spectacle). The walk to/from town is not that long however the steep hills coming back do make it challenge (especially with groceries). The host was very communicative from the beginning and the the check in process was very easy. My only real complaint is lack of extra supplies. I'm not sure if this is typical with European vacation homes, but there was not extra garbage bags, toilet paper, etc. It just meant we had to buy extra things at the store and bring them back up the hill! I would definitely recommend this place for large family or multiple families. Be prepared to get some good exercise in!

Très bon séjour dans ce chalet

Très bon séjour dans ce chalet. Le chalet est grand et fonctionnel. Une très belle terrasse pour profiter de la vue imprenable. Bien situé au calme sur les hauteurs de Chamonix. Les propriétaires nous ont très bien accueillis et ont été flexibles sur l’heure d’arrivée et de depart. Petit bémol au niveau de la propreté très bien en general mais le frigo et les toilettes pourraient être plus nettoyés.

Great location, well appointed, and plenty of room for a family of 6-8.

We really enjoyed this property and the location is ideal for a 5-10min walk to the Brevent ski area. It is a 15min walk from the city center which made it nice and quiet but close enough to walk down to dinner (though the hill is steep on the way back) The home is nice and has everything you need. We often cooked rather than eat out, and the larger dining table seated all of us comfortably. Having an available (enclosed) garage space was a nice bonus for our car and gear. I would rent this property again!

I am retired and split my time living in Chamonix and travelling. I love the mountain environment and all the activities you can do there. I am lucky enough to be able to experience such a wonderful and contrasting location.

Why they chose this property

Chamonix is a wonderful town nestled at the foot of the most dramatic mountain landscape you can imagine. It is not renowned as the mountaineering capital of the world for nothing. It is extremely accessible from Geneva being an hours drive away. And it is centrally located to allow you to visit Italy through the MB tunnel, a short drive through into the Swiss Valais region or out of the Chamonix valley to visit the beautiful Limestone hills and mountains of the Haute Savoie.
The area is a playground for climbing, walking, biking, paragliding...or you can just sit back in the sun and take in the peace and quiet of the mountains and enjoy the local food and wine.

What makes this property unique

The property is just 10-15 minutes walk from the centre of town but it is located in a quiet and authentic quarter of the town. It is situated on a S facing hillside with stunning views across to the world famous Chamonix Aiguilles and Mont Blanc.

In the winter the Brevent ski lift is only a 400m level walk away but you can also visit 3 other ski areas within a few minutes drive, experience the famous off-piste ski down the Vallee Blanche or pop through the Mont Blanc tunnel for some lovely sunny relaxed skiing in Courmayeur.

In summer the town offers something for everyone: for the ambitious there is high level mountaineering but the valley offers beautiful and easily accessible trail walking and running, mtn biking and there are numerous sports activities for the children.
