The apartment has been decorated and furnished to a very high standard and holds an independent 4**** rating with Visit England. This fantastic apartment with a stylish finish boasts sea views from the side of the bay window. The apartment is light, with calming colours, and is an ideal space for two or three people. Enjoy a special Southwold break together in this high class holiday apartment. The Pier is part of Suffolk House and can also be booked together with The Lighthouse, The Cannons and / or The Blyth. Please note that there is a sofa bed available, along with a travel cot and high chair. A perfect holiday home for a lovely seaside town.

Perfect location, near to beach and town. Nicely decorated, clean and had everything thats needed for a short stay. Minor issue - windows rattle when windy

Lovely place, great location

This property is really lovely. Larger than it looks on the photos. The location couldn't be better for exploring southwold and surrounding areas. Really easy to check in. We went mid August so the parking was difficult, bear that in mind when arriving. If you plan to use the sofa bed, i think you need to let the host know as we needed to use it but there was no bedding. Also, the listing says there is a deck/ patio but there isnt. These points wouldnt stop us staying again - just good to know before hand.

Great apartment with the perfect access to the beach front

This has been my third year, and love the location and amenities. One or two hiccups with bedding and curtains, but these issues happen, and has not put me off. I’ll be booking again!!

Lovely property- but noisy!

We love the location of this property and stayed in one of the larger apartments last year. Unfortunately, the same apartment wasn’t free this time so stayed in a one bed alternative. Although the apartment was just as clean/well-equipped it was incredibly noisy. We could hear the conversations of those in other apartments and doors banging constantly. There was also a dog in the next-door apartment which was left alone to bark at times - unfortunately we could hear this clearly also. Due to the noise, we found it difficult to sleep and get our son to sleep. We wouldn’t return to this specific apartment based upon the noise, but would still recommend the building and the other apartments due to the location, cleanliness and overall service from the owner.

Disappointing.... especially if you want to wash properly!

Without doubt the location of this property is ideal and the mattress is very comfortable. But unfortunately there are areas that really need addressing by the owner and frankly we were surprised that the property is let out in this state. Firstly, the plumbing needs a major overhaul - you simply cannot bath or shower as the water pressure is awful. If you try and run a bath then good luck because you will be waiting a long time for it to fill. The shower is also in poor condition. Water temperature in general in the bathroom is totally uncontrollable for the very little amount of water that does run. At best you can use the sink and have a wash with a flannel ! The Bathroom shelf has mould growing on it- as does the window blind. Both the sofa and armchair in the living room have stains on them and need a proper steam clean. I did take photos to prove all of the above - but I don't think this site lets you post them. We are very disappointed and feel the property is over-priced given the above factors.

Excellent venue, close to the beach and town centre

Really nice property which is ideally located for the beach and town centre. Ample on road parking and great comms from owner. Would highly recommend the property and Southwold for a relaxing break.

An over priced property.

The property was plesent in size and well equipped. The down side is that it needs some maintainance especially the plumming in the bathroom.To get hot or cold water was a nightmare as was parking the car!

Lovely apartment, very well appointed, everything thought of. Would have been 5 stars but no outside space and parking is difficult. Highly recommend Two Magpies bakery for breakfast and Coasters for lunch/dinner.

Lovely apartment in a lovely town

Extremely efficient process to book this beautiful apartment. The sun shining all weekend made it a thoroughly wonderful stay Bumped into the owner too which was a pleasant surprise and she was just a nice in person as via correspondence
