エントランスホールは居心地の良いリビング/ダイニングルームにつながり、窓にはテレビ、DVDプレーヤー、ラジオがあり、キッチンにはすべての電気製品が完備されています。 ブロードバンドもご利用いただけます。書籍やガイドがあります。 それらのより涼しい日にあなたを暖かく保つために完全なセントラルヒーティングが含まれています。

We really enjoyed our time here, just wish we could have stayed longer. The apartment is comfy, cosy and welcoming and Marion and John are lovely people.The bird feeders just outside the window are inspired and much more entertaining than watching TV. We were even lucky enough to have a visit from the red squirrel which was amazing.Thank you Marion for the warm welcome and the lovely treats, we will definitely return.

My stay in Ullock was an unforgettable experience — it truly felt like visiting my grandparents’ home and stepping back into the 90s. The peaceful surroundings, vintage charm, and calm countryside atmosphere made it feel warm and familiar. The apartment was very clean and Marion and John were ready waiting for us when we arrived. They were very helpful all week providing us with some of the best locations in the area to visit, and helping us with anything we needed.There is a small step to get into the apartment and a small step in the shower, but the apartment is mostly accessible. The garden is lovely with flowers and trees all round and a lake running under the bridge in the entrance way. There are shops within a fifteen minute drive. Very quiet area, especially overnight.

I could not wish for a better place to stay for my b'day. Landlords are absolutely lovely and super kind. Apartment have evrything it need for comfortable stay. The garden is unreall! Location is just perfect for hill/fells walking in Lake District with very short drive to car parks. I enjoyed my stay very much. I will definitely book this accomodation again. Lovely long weekend retreat

I was lucky enough to be able to stay at this property for 2 nights whilst exploring the Lakes. It was perfect, so comfortable and the hosts were so kind and welcoming. Would love to come back again soon as the place was like a little home away from home. Thank you for letting me stay! :)

A lovely stay with Marion & John

Lovely little downstairs area of cottage. Very clean and comfortable, had all facilities you’d need. Marion and John were delightful hosts, providing snacks, milk and were just upstairs if we needed anything. Very affordable compared to similar accommodation in the lakes, with Ullock being nicely located right next to the lakes but also round the corner from the beach. Highly recommend.

Peaceful and Relaxing Stay Away from the Hustle Bustle.

It’s a fantastic place to stay in a peaceful and secluded little sanctuary on the outskirts of The Lake District. Cockermouth is 10mins drive to get groceries (lovely butcher and bakery), perfect for exploring the Western part of The Lakes and seaside nearby. Marion and John are such warm, thoughtful and super friendly people. The apartment is lovely, very clean, warm and well equipped with a view of birds coming to feed themselves near the window in a beautiful garden with the view of sheep on the hill opposite. Thank you both so much for your generous hospitality and we look forward to coming back soon to visit such an idyllic little corner of The Lakes.

Idyllic.

A lovely, warm and cosy place. Well furnished and equipped. Set in a wonderful location, with the house surrounded by a plethora of trees, bushes, flowers and plants. Star of the show is the tree stump covered in bird feeders outside the window. Eating breakfast as the birds come and go puts a smile on your face every morning. It's very tranquil too so after a day of walking, cycling or climbing it's the perfect retreat to come back and relax in. Marion and John are always on hand for help or advice on where to go etc. and are such warm and friendly people, nothing is too much bother for them. We had a great stay, wished we could've had longer here.

Lovely stay

We had a lovely week here- the house is very comfortable & well-equipped, great to come back to after a day out. We enjoyed the interesting artworks (and even bought one of Marion's beautiful paintings!) The welcoming goodies were a real holiday treat. The garden is gorgeous, and so much of it to explore & enjoy. Marion and John are excellent hosts-so friendly & helpful whilst still being aware of giving us privacy. We would very happily come back. Little Gem

Well equipped garden apartment with very hospitable hosts, will be staying again! I found John and Marion warm and friendly and genuinely concerned I had everything I needed for a great stay. Their garden grounds are delightful and filled with wildlife and flowers out of every window. Their location is quietly tucked away from all the bustle but not a mile from stunning views and a glorious and surprisingly short drive into the heart of the Western Lakes. I had a lovely stay, wish it could've been for longer! Hopefully next time!

Just what we needed to get away from city life. Quiet location, well maintained grounds and fabulous hosts in Marion and John. Would we stay again......already looking at dates and looks like this will be out bolt hole moving forward as long as it is available. Thank you both x

Perfect for our purpose

My friend and I 70+ were attending a festival near by ( non music) and this delightful little annex to the main house was in a perfect location being just 3.4 miles from where we needed to be for three days. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and chocolate which was so welcoming after the long days. It was a chilly few days sitting in a large tent so coming back to a cosy, warm and peaceful home from home was delightful. Good shower, well supplied kitchen, private entrance and on site parking.

Spring is on its way!

A lovely warm welcome from Marion and John to their cosy apartment in Ullock. Great location to explore the Western Lakes with a 10 min drive to Loweswater. Very peaceful and quiet, well equipped and comfortable. Beautiful garden for a morning coffee and fantastic array of bird life visiting the feeders. Would highly recommend for those wanting to explore this less busy side of the Lake District.

We built this house ourselves, and the apartment has been available for letting for over 20 years, with many people coming back year after year to enjoy walking the fells, or just relaxing and exploring the lakes, coast, and local towns.

この宿泊施設の特徴

In a small rural village, we are just 5 miles from Cockermouth, and within easy reach of the Northern lakes, Loweswater within 4 miles, Buttermere and Crummock a short drive away. Keswick only 20 miles away. A wealth of wildlife in the extensive gardens, with a variety of birds and even red squirrels feeding just outside the window. A stream with packhorse bridge, pond and woodland path all there for you to enjoy when you arrive.
Pubs in the neighbouring villages of Dean and Branthwaite offer good food, just a short walk on warmer evenings.
We live on the premises and will be here to welcome you, and deal with any queries you may have.
