Tämä tilava ja hyvin varusteltu huoneisto, josta on upeat näkymät laaksoon suuresta ympäröivästä parvekkeesta, TV: stä, DVD: stä ja ilmaisesta langattomasta Internetistä, sijaitsee La Gittazin piilossa jalokivissä, joka on pieni hiljainen kylä kaukana hälinästä. Meribel Center, mutta ei kaukana baareista, kaupoista ja kaikista mukavuuksista ja helpon matkan päässä Kolmesta laaksosta, joka on Euroopan suurin hiihtoalue.
Se on perheomisteinen huoneisto, jonka annamme vain muutaman viikon vuodessa talvisin ruuhkakaudella ja myös muutamaksi viikoksi kesällä. Huoneisto sijaitsee viehättävässä vanhassa Savoyard-lomamökissä, joka on kauniisti muunnettu 6 huoneistoksi, joissa kaikissa on oma ovi. Se on upeat näkymät laaksoon iso, mukava kulma-vuodesohva oleskelualueella suurten levylasilasien liukuovien lasiovien kautta. Voit myös istua aamulla suurella aurinkoisella parvekkeella saada rusketusta, tai istua pöydän ja 4 tuolin ääressä ja nauttia lounasta katselunäkymässä tai nauttia lasillisen viiniä illalla katsomassa auringonlaskua. Leveä parveke kiertyy asunnon ympärillä ja saa aurinkoa ensin aamulla ja koko päivän.
Huoneisto on kunnostettu erittäin korkeatasoiseksi, ja siinä on laadukkaat varusteet, kuten pesukone / kuivausrumpu, kaksitasoinen uuni ja liesi, astianpesukone ja 2 kylpyhuonetta, yksi kylpyhuone. Yhdessä kylpyhuoneessa on suihku täysikokoisessa kylpyammeessa, kylpyhuoneessa on suihku ja WC. Molemmissa kylpyhuoneissa on hyvän kokoiset pesualtaat, joissa on suuret hyvin valaisut peilit ja runsaasti säilytystilaa. Kylpyhuoneessa on WC ja erillinen WC.
Siellä on kaksi makuuhuonetta, joissa molemmissa kaksi erillistä vuodetta, jotka voidaan työntää yhteen muodostaen tuplaa. Molemmissa makuuhuoneissa on runsaasti säilytystilaa täysikokoisissa liukuovikaapissa ja ruokailutilan suurissa kaapissa.
Koko huoneistossa on ilmainen laajakaista WiFi. Siellä on taulu-tv ja DVD-soitin. Televisio poimii ranskalaiset kanavat ja BBC World, CNN, Sky uutiset, Disney jne. TV on älykäs televisio, joka muodostaa yhteyden myös Internetiin. Voit kytkeä oman tietokoneesi, Xbox- tai AV-laitteesi televisioon mukana toimitetulla HDMI-kaapelilla. Musiikkikeskus, jossa on iPod-telakka (tuo oma iPod / iPhone), CD-soitin, radio ja mini-liitäntä AUX-yhteys omalle audiolaitteellesi (johto mukana).
Chaletissa on turvallinen suksienkaapitila erillisellä lukittavalla suksikaapilla huoneistoomme varten. Huoneistossa on yksi yksityinen parkkipaikka, lähellä on paljon enemmän ilmaisia pysäköintialueita.
Muutaman metrin päässä on kaunis 17-luvun kappeli.

Cozy place in the alps

Our experience at the chalet in La Gitaz was simply amazing! The space is incredibly cozy, spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated with a charming mountain theme, making us feel completely immersed in the alpine atmosphere. We loved every detail!Moreover, the owner is exceptional—his communication is clear and attentive, and he shows remarkable care in every aspect of the stay. Everything is perfectly organized, from the chalet itself to a thoughtfully prepared folder with local tips, maps, and valuable recommendations. His kindness and attention to detail made our experience even more special. We can’t wait to come back!

Excellent Stay!

We loved this property! Plenty of space for 4 adults. Wonderful view of the mountains from the living room and balcony that can be enjoyed while having breakfast and coffee. Great location and walking to the gondola to get to the slopes. Rich was an excellent host that communicated great and went above and beyond to provide all the information we needed to make our first time in Meribel easier and more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

An attractive apartment in a well located chalet with very helpful owner

A spacious and well laid out apartment with two moderate sized bedrooms and option of twin or double beds. Very well stocked kitchen with all the utensils one might want. Comfortable living area and nice view from picture window. Great restaurant within walking distance. Easy access to Meribel and the lifts. Owners very considerate and left clear instructions. Would thoroughly recommend.

Lovely comfortable chalet in a great location - a real home from home

The chalet is very well equipped, really spacious and extremely comfortable - great showers, comfy beds - a real home from home. We had an extended stay and it was absolutely fabulous. There is a lovely view from the apartment looking up to the mountains. Jess who manages the property in the resort was very helpful and even cleared the steps of snow for us. Her cleaning team were brilliant - the chalet was immaculate. La Gittaz is a 10 minute walk from the very regular and reliable free buses which run from very early to very late or a short walk from the bubble lift. Sue, the owner, could not have been more helpful - lots of really useful information before we left and contacted us whilst we were en route to give us an update on the weather (so much snow.....) We had an amazing time and will definitely be returning.

Très bon moment dans un hameau de Meribel

Appartement bien équipé et très agréable pour 4-5 personnes. Accès assez facile au remonte pente vers Chaudanne et bien desservi par la navette Meribus. Cuisine et matériels très bien pour le séjour. Le hameau de La Gittaz est charmant. Merci !

Solid Location close enough to everything but away enough to be quiet

The property was great for my wife and 2 girls. Short walk to the shuttle and a 20 minute uphill hike to Méribel Village. We did not have the snow cover to ski to the gondola. Would definitely stay again.

Great apartment!

The apartment is great - spacious, well equipped and with nice views across the valley. It is a great base for skiing - the bubble lift from La Raffort is a short and pleasant walk down the hill. We didn’t have a car, but found it easy to get about and buy shopping in Meribel. One tip - we found it useful to hire a ski locker in Chaudanne (beneath Saulire lift). Thanks for a perfect holiday!

Superbe appartement et magnifique emplacement

Un magnifique appartement dans un espace de chalets haut de gamme, dans un très beau cadre, et très tranquille. Formidable vue, belles chambres, tout est fonctionnel et conforme à l'annonce. On se sent comme chez soi. Nos ados ont adoré. Les propriétaires sont très réactifs dans les échanges. Un petit souci technique - un câble télé défectueux - a été solutionné très efficacement. Excellent in every way . Differently recommend this beautiful chalet , with outstanding views.

We couldnt of wished for anything more , we loved every minute. Le Bachal is amazing , it really felt warm and homely as soon as we walked in . It's even more beautiful then the pictures shows , as a family we couldn't of been happier, it's easy distance to the bus which takes you either to meribel village or meribel centre to catch the chair lifts to the outstanding slopes . We skied everyday, and had lots of choice of slopes . The evenings we had a great spar which is brilliant as we could choose each night what we had to eat , and on our last night we had an amazing meal out in the centre of meribel which was very typically French and very reasonable . Sue and Andrew were great from the moment I first enquired about Le Bachal, so helpful and kind and we can't thank them enough for letting us stay . We have had a perfect holiday and we do hope to be back as we couldn't of had a better time . Thank you Sue and Andrew

Comfortable, warm & well equipped.

This is a great apartment. Perfect for 4 people with lots of space, especially with the two bathrooms. The kitchen is very well equipped, we ended up cooking most nights. With supermarkets in Meribel Centre, Meribel village and La Tania there was no problem stocking up on the essentials. The wifi was a great addition, and with a TV and DVD player there was no problem with entertainment. But just sitting on the comfy sofa admiring the great view was just as good! The communications from the owner were clear and extensive and with a representative in the resort we felt very well served. We got to the slopes mainly by driving to La Raffort and taking the gondola to Meribel Centre, but we walked a couple of times to the gondola, which wasn't difficult. We would definitely recommend this property, having a car made getting around a lot easier, but it wouldn't have been too difficult without one. This property is definitely worth 5 stars.

We've just returned from a perfect half term skiing holiday at Le Bachal. A great location, only minutes drive from the ski lifts in Meribel centre and Meribel village giving you access to the huge 3 valley's ski area. The apartment is a real home from home. A great place to come back and relax after a good day on the slopes. Decorated in a typical Savoyard style with thoughtful little extras such as cosy hot water bottles. A well equipped kitchen with all you need to prepare a hearty meal. An easy drive from Geneva airport, would highly recommend.

Magnificent holiday

I have never done this before but feel compelled to leave feedback for what was a truly magnificent holiday. I have been to Meribel on several occasions and this visit was made all the more enjoyable and memorable due to being fortunate enough to stay in this wonderful apartment. The apartment was exactly as described and if anything, a little understated as the facilities are fantastic. There are lots of nice touches (restaurant listing with ratings etc) to supplement the obvious services available and it felt like a real home for a week. It was immaculate, very well maintained and we wanted for nothing. These home comforts can be a hindrance as I found it difficult getting friends out of the apartments in the mornings. Steps down from the road to the apartment were initially a little difficult to navigate however, there is a shovel and rock salt available which we used to clear the snow after a decent snowfall just prior to our arrival. La Gittaz is very quaint, quiet and picturese and the views from the apartment are truly beautiful. I was concerned that the location was a little out the way however, the concern was unfounded as there is a track down to a lift (next stop being La Chaudanne - 5 mins) which we boarded too twice, there is a free bus service at the end of the road (5-10 min walk) which takes 5 mins to get to Meribel Village and we walked to Meribel centre two evenings which is up a gradual hill in about 15 mins. Finally I must add that from start to finish the owner (Sue) was an absolute pleasure do deal with. Nothing is too much trouble; communications are very clear, prompt and polite. Thank you Sue

Fantastic

A beautiful apartment with magic views. It is very well equipped and the perfect place to relax after a hard day skiing. Very easy access to the slopes and to Meribel. Easy, efficient booking and liaison with the owners. All in all, highly recommend.

I am retired, and when my husband retired as a GP in 2013, we bought this apartment for our family as we all love the three valleys in winter as well as in summer. The apartment is tucked away in the hidden gem of La Gittaz, which is within walking distance of both the Olympique bubble lift and the bus stop for the free bus. So it is an ideal spacious and comfortable family apartment but within easy reach of skiing, summer sports and the abundant night-life. It's also not far from some excellent restaurants and an award-winning Boulanger. We let out the apartment when our family are not using it to help defray the costs, so it is a well-appointed and comfortable place that feels just like home!
We have stayed at many holiday houses in the past when our children were growing up and have enjoyed some wonderful times. Using this experience we have equipped our properties to a very high standard and tried to include touches that we have appreciated in homes we have stayed in. The apartment is in a beautiful setting and is well loved. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.

Our family have always been keen skiers and snowboarders. One of our sons has been a seasonaire in Meribel for many years and when the opportunity came to buy our own apartment we jumped at it. It is in a quiet village with stunning views but also within easy reach of Meribel which is always buzzing during the ski season, but is also busy in the summer with walkers, mountain bikers and people who just love being in the mountains with the stunning views.

Also in the spring and summer there is golf, trekking and mountain biking. A few of the ski lifts are kept open for the summer season.
