Urlaubsparadies in ruhiger Lage

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal an diesem schönen Ort. Der Outdoorbereich lässt keine Wünsche offen. Der Pool ist gut gepflegt und wird alle paar Tage gereinigt. Kommunikation und Service waren spitze. Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen.

Very nice place in Umbria

Confortable house (and well stocked, which may be very useful in case you forgot smthg, and fresh water and fruit juice is appreciated after a long road!), beautiful garden with trees given good shadow and a wonderful swimming pool that is definitely the masterpiece of the house during hot summer afternoons. We loved the week we spent in Valtopina. The owner is friendly and helpful. The house looks initially isolated but in fact it’s quite close to the main 2 lanes road leading to Foligno in less than 15’ and Assisi in ~25’, Perugia in ~35’. Pictures on the website are reliable . Thanks.

Vacanza in relax

La villa, situata in una posizione incantevole, in collina, è il luogo ideale per una vacanza all'insegna di un totale relax. Attrezzata per ogni necessità, pulita e funzionale ci ha permesso di godere di una vacanza molto piacevole. Nei giorni in cui il tempo è stato poco clemente abbiamo potuto rilassarci nella vasca idro molto capiente. Francesco, il proprietario, è stato premuroso, disponibile e attento a ogni nostra necessità. Il nostro amico a 4 zampe, un pastore tedesco, al sicuro grazie a un'adeguata recinzione, ha potuto liberamente correre nel giardino. Consigliamo il soggiorno a chi ama la tranquillità e il contatto con la natura.

Traumurlaub

Wir haben zwei wunderschöne Wochen in diesem Traumhaus verbracht. Vor allem der Außenbereich hat es uns angetan. Der Pool, die Schattenplätze, die Bar, der Grill. Alles wie auf den Bildern. Auch die Ausstattung im Haus ließ keine Wünsche offen. Francesco hat uns herzlich empfangen und war jederzeit für uns erreichbar. Wir haben die Ruhe sehr genossen. Perfekt war auch, dass das komplette Grundstück eingezäunt ist. (Urlaub mit Hund). Wir werden sicher noch einmal wiederkommen. We had two beautiful weeks in this lovely house. Francesco was a perfect host. He welcomed us warmely and was reachable all the time. The outside area is such a dream. And also inside was nothing missed. The whole garden is fenced in. Perfect for our little dog. We definately will come back again. Thanks for all Francesco.

Schöne Villa, netter Vermieter

Diesen Sommer haben ein paar Freunde und ich unseren Sommerurlaub hier verbracht. Die Villa ist sehr schön und hat eine tolle Aussicht auf das Tal um den Ort Valtopina. Probleme gab es keine, bis auf einmal als die Sicherung rausgeflogen ist, was allerdings auch daran lag, dass wir das ganze System etwas ausgelastet hatten. Francesco antwortete auf uns sofort und half bei der Behebung des Problems. Den Urlaub dort zu verbringen kann ich nur empfehlen.

Luxurious Villa with beautiful surroundings

My family and I stayed there for two weeks. Had a wonderful and relaxing time. The host, Francesco was a dear and quickly fixed anything that came up during our stay and had great recommendations for local wines.

A lovely, well-appointed property in a beautiful and peaceful setting!

Villa Lupo is set high on a valley side in Valtopina affording you picturesque views and an isolated and peaceful setting. The villa is well appointed with a large and well laid-out sitting room into which there is lots of light through large windows and patio doors: you really get to enjoy the views whilst sitting on the sofa reading a good book! We particularly enjoyed the wood burner in the sitting room, which created a cosy and warm atmosphere, given that we visited just at the start of spring when cold temperatures were still prevailing. The kitchen has an impressive array of utensils and equipment, making it very practical and functional. Simple or elaborate meals can be prepared without concern about lack of the equipment to do so. The fridge freezer is of a good size, so that you can easily store a week's food. The bedrooms were of a good size (we used just two of the four available) and children are well catered for with a bunk bed and appropriate decor. If you visit in the summer then there is no shortage of fans. The bathroom was of an impressive size and finish - large enough to house a jacuzzi - and it was great to have the choice of bath or shower. The outdoor area is well facilitated with a great play area for children with slide, swing and carousel, and had it been warm enough at the time of our visit we are sure we would have enjoyed the well-located and sized pool! Nevertheless, we got to enjoy the hot tub! There appears to be a lot of barbecuing equipment around, so al fresco is very possible. My partner, five year old and I are keen hikers and the central location of Valtopina allowed us to visit a wide variety of hiking areas. As such, we hiked in areas like Montemelino in the north-west, Orvieto in the south-west and Gubbio in the north, all with ease: a car is a must, unless you just want to enjoy the villa which is equally possible. We also visited the beautiful towns of Assisi, Spello, Spoleto and Monetfalco, again Villa Lupo providing an excellent base from which to do so. Our supermarket of choice was Iper Simply in Trevi, 24km away and about a 20-minute drive. Finally, my family and I would like it noted that a highlight of our stay at Valtopina was the hospitality shown by Francesco. He went well beyond the call of duty to make us happy and comfortable, and would readily visit the villa if we had any issues or concerns, of which we had few. He was warm and welcoming! Thank you, Francesco! Ciao-o!

Amazing view, Stunning pool area, Great location, Well equipped villa

We are a family of 7 who had a fantastic week. The location is great, it is soo easy to drive to Assissi; Spoleto; Spelo; Perugia and Foligno(can't recommend Foligno enough great food/atmosphere/buildings doesn't get mentioned by guidebooks). That's assuming you want to leave the villa. The villa has a particularly well equipped outdoor area with loads of sunbeds and other out door furniture along with the stunning view. It is very peaceful. The pool is lovely too. The house is well equipped - good showers with plenty of hot water. All the bedrooms had fans which was fine as it cools down at night and the linens and bed are all of good quality. There is some great walking in the area and white water rafting/kayaking is about an hours drive away. We flew to Rome had a few a days there and then drove up.... flights are more frequent and cheaper than to Perugia(which is the nearest airport). Francesco the owner is very quick to respond to any questions or sort out any problems. All in all although this place looks like it is out of the way, it isn't - we found the roads very quiet and easy to drive on....... a great week.
