Lovely lakeside chalet
We stayed at this chalet over the Halloween weekend and had a wonderful break. The chalet was clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. The owners couldn't have been more accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay special. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to other families, it is in a great location on a family friendly site overlooking a beautiful lake. What more could you ask for! Thanks and we will definately be returning!!
We had a great stay at the chalet. It is located in a great area and close to town center. It has everything you need for self catering including BBQ. The chalet is suitable for a family of 4 as it has a double bed and a bung bed to accommodate the children in. It also has lots of toys for them to play with and books to read. I would say it’s best to use it in summer time when the weather is. Ice and warm at it can get cold and drafts in the cold months. We were there in October and we had to use the electric heaters almost daily. But that made a big difference at its was rather cold.
I would recommend it as it is located in little “corner of paradise” around a river and a lake, close to Snowdon mountain.
My only criticism has to be the cleanliness. It could really do with a proper spring clean especially now with the pandemic. I had to clean myself the bathroom and the kitchen as it looked it had finer prints and everything. But the rest I can’t fault it.
We had a fantastic holiday, the chalet was lovely, very comfortable had everything in it we needed, well equipped kitchen, toiletries if you had forgotten anything even cupboard full of games. We played uno most evening while having a drink, great fun. You have to leave money to pay for the electric which is prepaid, it only cost us £10.50 for 7 days, we even had the heating on for 2 mornings!!
The holiday park is well kept, you do need to have a car to travel about, the nearest shops & town is about a mile, there is a small shop on site for essentials.
We had a lovely stay, I would definitely recommend.
There are 2 well kept feral cats that live on site near the chalet, every evening they sit on the bank looking up with their big eyes waiting for any scraps, they also love a saucer of milk!!

Lovely chalet in a nice holiday park. The view of the lake from the balcony is great.
The kids absolutely loved the pool. And it’s worth knowing that there’s loads of games in the chalet, which the kids enjoyed playing with.
There’s loads to do in North Wales. It was a great little staycation.
Great find.
Thank you.

Thank you for your feedback glad you enjoyed your stay.
We enjoyed a short break over the Easter holidays at Rita's property. The chalet had a beautiful view over a lake and the location of the holiday park (1 mile from Caernarfon) was the ideal base from which to explore North Wales. Rita provided excellent information about the property and the local area prior to our arrival and the chalet was very well equipped. Cupboards and drawers were filled with everything you could ever need! The only minor negatives would be that the shower wasn't the easiest to set up and there was no oven in the kitchen, just a microwave. We would recommend this property to friends and family.

Fantastic location! Comfortable chalet.
Glan Gwna is a hidden gem - would love to return in the summer to try out the pool!
Communication and advice from the owner was superb, with details on the local area and emails to update.
The chalet was clean, bright and homely - it has everything you need. The views are great, relaxing and the deck is a great feature. The chalet has a comfortable interior, cosy beds, and open plan kitchen, diner, lounge.
We stayed in October so it was quite cold in the evenings, but with the electric heater on it soon warmed up. The blankets on the sofas are great for snuggling in front of the TV.
We saw lots of birds, squirrels and the pond was great to keep the children entertained for an hour early morning.
Only a short drive from Caernarfon and Llanberis, so castle, coast & mountain within easy reach.
